Hello Friend,
The least I can do is to greet you Happy New Year and wish that you would have one memorable milestone in your life. You could have one by talking to your friends, relatives and neighbors about Hukuman ng Mamamayan where the people are given the power to decide who to charge in court, who to try and who to acquit or convict.
You must let them know that this is the only system of justice where all, poor or rich, slaves or masters, royal bloods or not, …

‘Nuisance’ rule is stupid!
SHOCKINGLY, the Comelec promulgated last December 15 its ruling disqualifying several presidential candidates, vice presidential candidates and senatorial candidates on the ground of being “nuisance.” It is in itself a nuisance.
It is stupid, to say aptly. It is pro-rich, anti-poor. Among those candidates disqualified by reason of the “nuisance” justification is Atty. Vicente Velasquez, the candidate of the advocates of jury systems in the Philippines. The Jury System is a system of justice where it is the people themselves who shall say who …

Sabi nga nila, hindi naman mahirap ang mangarap kasi libre ito. Kaya ngayong bagong taong darating, walang masama if we all share our dreams and wishes for a better world. Dapat na rin yatang magbagong-buhay tayo kasi malapit na ang 2012, he he. Here’s my simple wishlist for 2010.

I am glad that there are still Filipinos who care for and hope for their leaders.
At least, we have a common ground: we all love RP. The differences start when each of us begins to express and exercise beliefs in political leaders who, most often, ended up consumed by greed, and when each begins to insist what everyone of us believes to be what should be given …

Simbang Gabi 2009
One of my favorite festivities growing up in the Philippines is the Simbang Gabi (Misa de Gallo or Advent Pre-Dawn Mass), a nine-day day novena leading up to the Christmas Eve Mass representing Mary’s wait for the birth of Jesus. I remember being awaken by musical bands, carolers, church bells, fireworks, and bright Christmas lights and parols. After mass, we would stop at food stalls in the churchyard for Christmas treats such as hot ginger tea and a variety of rice and coconut cakes like the puto bungbong …

(Second of two parts)
The first part of this article is here: Big-time gambling patriarch plays high-stakes politics
(The writer is a former journalist, a three-term governor of North Cotabato, and incumbent vice governor of the province)
THE POLITICAL POWER AND influence of Datu Andal Ampatuan Sr. reached great heights in the 2004 presidential election when he engineered a lopsided victory in Maguindanao for President Macapagal-Arroyo against popular actor Fernando Poe Jr.
It was undoubtedly a feat that won for Ms Arroyo the presidency, never mind the charges of massive cheating. The fact …

Complete power vacuum?
The premature lifting of the unlawful martial law in Maguindanao province was further prompted by a call from the Obama administration. But this is not an assurance that the Filipinos have nothing more to fear about a no-election scenario. To the contrary, the desire of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo to stay in power at any cost is still a clear-and-present danger.
So what do you think will happen if there would be massive failure of elections in almost all parts of the …

Oh yeah…nerd boys and gals! Drool over this new Iron Man 2 trailer! Watch the youtube clip below:
OMG. Cant wait for Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and yes, Robert Downey Jr in their roles! Kakaloka. Sorry, nerd talaga si Silver sa personal. Hak hak hak.
The details are quite sketchy pa. But based on the trailer, Mickey Rourke will take on the role of Whiplash. In fairness, di ako familiar sa Iron Man villain na ito. Hahahahha.
So come 2010, blockbuster na naman ang summer natin dahil sa mga movies na …

The article that you will be reading appeared on Business World Online, under Yellow Pad — By Filomeno S. Sta. Ana III. I’ve been meaning to write something like this, naunahan nya lang ako pramis hehehe. And he read my mind. At dahil mas magaling syang sumulat, I thought I’d share you na lang what he wrote, especially to my newest wacko best friend Benigno err Benjamin Kritz for deep inside them, they are actually rooting for Noynoy Aquino. But truly, wa biro, he captured pretty much what I have …

The following phone conversation took place on December 25, 2004, Christmas Day.
Nanay Luisa (Novaliches, Philippines): Hello anak?
Tracy (Phuket, Thailand): Hello Nay, Merry Christmas po!
Nanay Luisa: Tracy anak, Merry Christmas din sa’yo. Kamusta ka naman diyan?
Tracy: Okay lang ako Nay. Medyo busy nga dito sa resort eh dahil marami kaming bisita ngayon. Andaming foreigners Nay.
Naku, …

He sounded like one decent commenter. Trying to join some lively discussion. This is the Barrio. A group of happy rah rah rah people. It’s obvious the foreigner is a foreigner in our Barrio.
And so began Benigno’s ran into the Barrio. Wanting and looking for a debate. But mostly peddling his websites. In fact, Benjamin Kritz populated the internet with his articles and websites reminiscent of what that crazy guy from UK, Ellumbra has done. The tactics were similar.
In Barrio Siete, you’d see him relentlessly linking his entries on Get …

There is no more stopping of Noynoy Aquino’s ascendancy to the Philippine presidency. Kaya naman these trolls and anonymous haters are now desperately fighting back. If they can’t drag Noynoy Aquino down, target their supporters. They are on the offensive, like one bloody Ampatuan rampage, directing their backhoe efforts against Noynoy supporters, thus the unrelenting personal attack going on against Reyna Elena by Benjamin Kritz and his team of tilapia brained writer(s). They’re the very same hooligans who would start showing up once Noynoy Aquino entries goes up. But as …

“Another edition of FAILON NGAYON, and this time is to answer a dare that the Presidential Candidate, Manuel “Manny” Villar, has done on Juan-on-One segment on TV Patrol. The dare was to look if there are only two (OR MORE!!!) subdivisions owned by Villar that are covered by the C-5 Extension, and yes… this is about that controversial C-5 Road Extention Scam. The only thing I can say is… BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU DARE!” (Source: theBlockerOnline)

Anti-Noynoy Propaganda, anti-reyna elena »
Why did I became the subject of personal attack by Utak nang Tilapia writers especially BenK and BongV? Of course, it is solely because I support Noynoy Aquino. I already know BongV, our Florida guy here. But I have got not a slightest clue who BenK is. If it is true, he used to be my neighbor here in Pennsylvania. I just hope he is careful with his personal attacks on me. I am not a Presidential candidate.
My entry today is in response to a barrage of anti-reyna elena/barrio …

Hello frenemies! How art thou? It’s been a very busy time for me this past few weeks attending parties and events (read: early campaigning) so please forgive me if I haven’t been in touch with you barriotics for quite a while.
Anyway, the year is about to end with a bang, literally, because of the impending Mount Mayon eruption but let’s just wish and pray that it’ll be a mild one and not catastrophic.

Guest Candidate.
The hell does that mean?!
Ok. Let’s see. If you run for office, either you are your own man and be independent or join a party.
Why do you join a party anyway? Well, because you believe in their platform, their ideals and their belief in running a barangay or a country. Somewhere along that line. Then you campaign for what your party believes in. It was supposed to be like that.
Until a nation called the Philippines started practicing their own brand of elections. Here, you join a party – just …
