51% of Gloria’s SONA 2009 were buladas!

29 July 2009 16 Comments

Yes, 51% of what Gloria’s SONA 2009 were buladas!

As the nation and us Overseas Filipinos as well as Overseas Filipino Workers listened to the State of the Nation Address ni Gloria, what in the world was she trying to tell us nga ba? Typically, when the head of a state delivers a State of the Nation Address, eto ang report nya sa sambayanan na mga ginawa nya or ang sinasabing accomplishments for the good nang sambayanang Pilipino. Yan ang kanyang Annual Report bilang pag-tatalaga nang lipunan or sapilitang pagnakaw nang upuan, depending on how you see it, sa pagka residente este presidente nang ating bansa.

Para maintindihan how I was able to come up with that percentage, simulan ang pag-basa sa SONA 2009 Summary kung saan pilit kong ini-intindi kung ano ang sinasabi ni Gloria. In our 1st pass, we’ve identified about 70 points that’s almost about anything in her SONA. So, let’s eliminate the important from the spins, the rhetorics, the yabangs at mga tirada sa critics. Hopefully, we get somewhere that would make sense to us.

From there, inisa-isa ko kung ano ang mga pambubuladas, pambibira, pagmamayabang so that I could eliminate the non-sense from what she claimed she accomplished. In other words, winawalis ko lang ang mga basura sa State of the Nation nya.

Results?

Based on the 70 identified points sa SONA 2009 Summary, I eliminated 36 useless blah blah blah na walang kinalaman sa accomplishments. Of course, I am not saying na di nya pwedeng isama sa kanyang Sonata. Typically, trapos use this para lituhin ang madla to think na sandamukal ang kanilang ginawa. So here are the useless points – as far as accomplishments are concerned – 36 in all:

3. She talked about her unpopularity na wala syang pakealam but said will continue to work hard for da kawntri. She said, she did not become a President to be popular. Maniwala ka dyan! Inggit nya lang with Cory’s popularity.

4. I’m eliminating number 4 dahil this is her vision and what she’s saying is that these were the steps na ginagawa nya towards that vision. Which is good and I wish her good luck! But for now, mga actions pa lang to na wala pang prutas. In other words, its just a statement na kasali na sa ibang sinabi nya.

5. We are setting aside number 5 where she said, the critics are wrong: Congress is right. It’s an opinion. Hawak nya ang Kongreso. What can we do?

6. More taxes is good for the country. Depende, that is kung gagameten ang taxes for the good of the country. How do we know? Tanungin nyo na lang ako. I’ll tell you what they do sa taxes sa barrio namen. So, let’s set this aside because opinion to and not an accomplishment.

18. Tini-tira nya si Mar Roxas, remember those invectives by Mar Roxas sa Ayala Rally? Well, parehas lang sila saying bad words in public by calling Mar Roxas “pussyfoot”. Para na nyang sinabing “puke mo Mar!” A wrong does not make it right with another wrong. Getz?

25. We’re eliminating number 25 where she’s talking about how prudent Bangko Sentral is. Chorva lang to. Why? Now, ang purihin ang Bangko Sentral (no offense mga tiga Bangko Sentral) is not an accomplishment, kaya set aside naten to. Getz nyo?

34. Meron nang SAT sa Pilipinas! Now, ba’t ko tinanggal to sa accomplishments nya? Getz? We had NCEE before. Anong pinag-kaiba nang NCEE sa SAT? They’re the same. Mas matindi lang siguro ang SAT dahil sa perception because it’s American based? You tell me, pero I could not count this as her accomplishment.

37. Is yabang about herself by saying, kiver kung saan ang OFW, bibisitahin nya! For a leader, this is a given na asikasuhin nila ang mga OFW who are now remitting $17 billion dollars to the economy at deretso kamo ang pera na to sa Filipino families. So, making a statement like this is politicking.

38. If 37 is yabang, the 38 is super typhoon! Why? If she’s got such superpowers na mapalaya at mapuno ang eroplano nang mga naka-kulong na OFW, then what is she doing?! An dami pang naka-kulong na mga OFW mostly in the Middle East!

39. If 37 is yabang and 38 is super typhoon, then 39 is like cream on the pie making yabang na ka-chika nya ang Hari nang Spain at mga Sheik nang Middle East to solve OFW problems. But, isn’t that always the case? OFW’s would be subjected to horrors hangga’t umabot sa bitay and then saka lang aasikasuhin?

42. Number 42 is Obama, so naimbitahan sya ni Obama, now what?! We all know that she worked so hard para mag-karon nang photo op ki Obama, remember those unwanted travels to Chicago and New York at di sya pinansin ni Obama? Kiver from Obama, kiver to us. That’s not an accomplishment.

52. Is wish nang lola nyo! What her wish, to us is not an accomplishment. Otherwise, pinapatunayan nya lang na pantasyadora sya which should just be left alone ki Reyna Elena. Her fantasy? Na mag-karon nang World Peace sa Mindanao. Charing! Sa mga urong-sulong na strategy? Pano mag-kakaron nang World Peace? Bottom line, we’re not interested in wishes. We are interested in actions and performance and results.

54. Number 54 talks about herself. She said, she’s a leader looking for the interest of the people. Charing?! Really?! Scandals after scandals will tell you who she is actually protecting, who is actually at the forefront of all of these scandals. Getz nyo? So, number 54 is out! Really, really out! To prove to you all, I will re-print one email I received from one group which was a research done by an ABS-CBN staffer. Just wait lang kayo. It’s all about scandals.

55. Is tirada against all of those, including myself, who are against Con-ass! What she’s saying here is that this will be put to a referendum. Nakita nyo ba? This is what she said: “As the process of fundamental political reform begins, let us address the highest exercise of democracy.voting!”

57. We are also setting aside number 57 where she talks about the fact that she’s not stepping down from Presidency until her term is over. Oh?! Maniwala ka dyan with all the moves being done at the Congress na pina-pangunahan nang mga anak nya.

58. We are setting aside number 58 which is about herself. Sabi nya, critics won’t stop her. But of course! When one is drunk with power, why would you care about your critics? Is this an accomplishment? No. so out!

59. We are setting aside number 59. Why? Pangaral nya to sa mga kandidato. She’s asking candidates what they can offer the country to mover forward not sweet talks. It’s a good advice but will Gloria listen to herself? Hahaha! So, let’s set this aside.

60. Number 60 is out because it talks about herself. She said, istidi lang sya.

61. We all love Manny, but what’s Manny got to do with her administration’s accomplishments and/or kawalan? Mabuhay pa rin Manny Pacquiao pero, sorry Manny, you’re not in our discussion.

62. We are setting aside number 62. Sa Bikolano, isa syang Uragon. An sabi nya: hindi sya uma-atras sa hamon. Leche! A-tapang a-lola! Hahaha!

63. We are setting aside number 63 where she claimed na malinis sya. Whatever.

Ok. Fine. Hehehe!

65. At hindi rin naten pag-uusapan ang number 65 dahil para syang sirang plaka telling us na she does not have any desire to extend her term. Whatever uli.

66. Number 66 is also eliminated dahil tipong tinitira nya si Erap or kung sino man. Aba! Paki-alam namen sa kaaway nya?! We are interested in her accomplishment and performance. Kung nakikipag-sabunutan sya ki Erap, kiver!

67. At mas lalong i-set aside naten ang number 67 dahil sabi nya, we have no proof on thousands of scandals na bini-bentang sa kanya. I’m sure.

68. Puro tirada. Puro tirada. Puro pasaring. An dami nyang kaaway. Sino ba? Si Erap? Si Ramos? Si Cory?! Wag nateng pag-usapan to.

69. Me kaaway na naman sya? Ano ba?! Ayaw nya atang tan-tanan si Erap. Out ang topic na to. Hmpt! Napu-puno na ako. Grrr!

70. Number 70, which is interesting the last point in our power point is one big pantasya spin-ning out of control na kesyo her administration, with the highest average rate of growth, recording multiple increases in investments, with the largest job creation in history, and which gets a credit upgrade at the height of a world recession, must be doing something right, even if some of those cocooned in corporate privilege refuse to recognize it. Ayun. Spin lang to.

The next set of eliminations we are going to do are those promises to do. Why? Eh promises to do pa lang yon. They’re not accomplishments yet. Order nang lola na gawin nang Kamara. Pwes, we have to set that aside because they’re not important to us at the moment. We’re looking for accomplishments.

28. Itatabi naten ang number 28 because this is her promise that they will work hard on tax collections on taxes sa sigarilyo. Tulungan daw naten ang BIR at Customs. Charing?! Hahaha!

29. Inulet pa! More taxes sa mga luma-laklak at nani-nigarilyo! Na taxes should come from alcohol and tobacco and not from books. Ok, fine! Let’s all smoke and help the country buy textbooks, how’s that?!

36. We are also eliminating number 36, why?

53. We are eliminating number 53. To be done nila to. Its a plan to have more cops on the streets! Aba!

Our next set of eliminations are centered on alibis. If you have read the recent news on this war with the Muslim rebels, urong-sulong ang gobyerness. So will eliminate these alibis because these are not accomplishments. Intiendicitos?

49. Alibi: She cannot contain rebellion so blame it as na-inherit lang daw nya to! Eh leche! Kaya ka nga naka-upo dyan to resolve this?! Ano ba?

50. Another alibi: She cannot contain Mindanao problem and that we inherited this age-old conflict in Mindanao.

My next set of elimination is really exciting. Why? Because Gloria adores Reyna Elena. Baket? She is learning that Social Climbing is the solution to the NPA/Muslim problem. So dahil, hindi pa sya solve, this is not an accomplishment, so itatabi muna naten. Getz?!

51. We are setting aside number 51 where she talks about the solution to NPA/Muslim problem na kung susuriin nyo, ang kanyang gamot is Social Climbing. O, laban kayo?! Hahaha! Nag-babasa pala sya nang Reyna Elena at Barrio Siete?!

“In these two internal conflicts, ang tanong ay hindi, “Sino ang mananalo?” kundi, bakit ba kailangang mag-away ang kapwa Pilipino tungkol sa mga isyu na alam ng dalawang panig over issues na malulutas naman sa paraang demokratiko.”

35. Report: OFW sent more than P16 billion pesos this year! Now, why am I eliminating number 35 as her accomplishment? The fact that there are more than 10% of the Philippine population na kumakayod sa ibang bansa away from love ones is one big dysfunctionality nang gobyeno naten dahil hindi tayo mabigyan nang employment sa Pilipinas. So, makikipag-sabunutan ako if this is ever counted as an accomplishment nang kung sino mang naka-upo sa Pasig. Leche oo! Grrr!

So now, that’s a total of 36 out of 70 points eliminated. What did she talked about that has substance to Filipinos? Here they are, only 34 points in all equivalent to 49%. Here’s what she talked about that is important to us all Filipinos:

The whole tone of the SONA was VERY DEFENSIVE, with PGMA trying VERY HARD to prove that her critics are dead wrong sa kanilang mga pinaglalaban (kung meron man daw) and she remains invincible.A little state of our hunger or violence against our journalists would have made her extra credible and more human in this case…

  • Nortehanon says:
