87 year old RCBC Yuchengco, Arroyo’s new ambassador to Germany

31 March 2010 7 Comments

Remember the expose of Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano in 2007 about the secret bank account of the Arroyos in HypoVereins Bank? Yan ang bagong chika mga kabarrio. Ang lolo nyo daw eh baka mega-plantsa kung ano ang kelangang gawin sa mga kaperahan sa Germany.

Pero wait, we actually don’t know! Dahil, baka nga this has to do also sa partnership nang Fraport AG sa Piatco when they built the $350 million Terminal 3 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Eto nga ba ang dahilan?

Whatever the drama behind this midnight appointment of Yuchengco to Germany with only 3 months left ni Gloria Arroyo sa Malacanang eh kaduda-duda-detch dahil nga otsenta y siete na ang lolo nyo.

SHUCKS! Hahaha!

Ulitin ko.

87.

I’m not saying that I am discriminating 87 year old people noh!

Pero… a ewan.

Yuchengco… sounds like from the family who defrauded insurers. At 87 years old, he’s better off be shipped to Florida’s nursing homes. Sick appointment!

  • art says:

Nope, no nursing homes for this guy; he can always have a new mansion anywhere, even in the dark side of the moon complete with 16 year olds and 99 virgins. Guess what, I haven’t heard from mohammed lately.

I have a bittersweet reaction on this appointment. Pero it makes me smile kahit papano dahil there is ‘working path’ pala ano even when you turned 80s. :D

It seems Gloria is very hasty in appointing people here and there even if time is already very short…

    This looks strategic:

    1. Gloria will run for Congress and rumored if she wins, she has great chances of becoming house speaker.

    2. All of these last-minute appointees and current cabinet heads are under threat once a new president is elected.

    3. As Gloria still has her presidential powers, she may appoint as much as key appointees as she can, including those in the military.

    4. When the new president ascends, new cabinets may be formed. Gloria appointees may greatly react in unison — should they be replaced.

    5. Gloria appointees in the military may join in, if there is a great chaotic political scenario.

    6. They may seek Gloria’s second coming for presidency…

Strings of utang na loob lahat ang tactics ni Gloria to gain favors….

This is just my personal thought… alam mo naman sa culture natin utang na loob is a big deal!
