Our reason for being

What is “Barrio Siete”? This is an alternative collective blog by a group of bloggers who talk the talk, and walk the walk of its target audience — the socio-economic group who do not use pretentious and intellectual language that can not be grasped by ordinary human beings. Sa blog na ito, gagamitin namin ang mga salitang ginagamit sa araw-araw, sa kalye, sa iskuwela, sa bahay at sa opisina.

Barrio Siete

Why the name? We always have “Barrio Siete” in our lives, either it is the typical barrio where we came from, or a phase in our lives where we have to struggle to achieve our goals in life. I, Reyna Elena and the rest of my fellow bloggers came from a Barrio Siete.

Management

As a collective blog, it is run and managed by a Barrio Captain, este! Barrio Capitana who moonlights as Reyna Elena in another barrio.

  • In Barrio Siete, we have a Barrio Council whose functions are: to make decisions, sort conflicts, plan, implement and review entries before it gets around the Barrio through one loud bandillo. They will be helping in the management of the blog.

  • We will have Barrio Councilors who will be our regular writers and mga dayong baryo who will be contributors.

  • Understand that “World Peace” is our vision and it’s important that Barrio Councilors and Barrio Council are required to work together as a team as directed by the Barrio Capitana. Our categories ranges from the usual to Parlorista. That’s our Celebrity Councilor.

  • Our Barrio Siete will have a Barangay Tanod to arrest trolls, stalkers and nasty anonymous and twisted love notes intended to ruin peace, serenity and tranquility of our Barrio, one dream by our Barrio Capitana to have. Yet, make no mistake about this, we will allow barilan amongst all inhabitants, tourists and visitors of this Barrio. We will also allow habulan nang dos por dos and will only stop them until such time that they are ready to accept that Social Climbing is the better option.

Only the Barrio Capitana is allowed to pee openly and cuss anyone who strays along our moonwalk cratered sidewalks and Talahib Highways and as such, we will not hesitate to deport anyone who does not follow traffic rules and signs in our Talahib Highways.

Our future EB shall be called Barrio Fiesta and lastly, our Barrio Siete is open to all Filipinos, both in the Philippines and abroad. One thing though, we require cedula by registering first.

Mission

Our mission is to keep social climbing alive, for we believe that social climbing opens up opportunities. We intend to keep blogging alive, free and without prejudice. There are no offensive social stratifications in Barrio Siete. No alipin saguguilids. We are all free humanoids dedicated in spreading the joys and love of blogging to keep up with our vision of…

A warning to those who are new in Barrio Siete, Reyna Elena Dot Com re-invented the meaning of “social climbing”. It’s not what you think it is. Discover for yourself what it means by reading our blogs.

Vision

World Peace.

Violent reactions are welcome. Kiver kahit anong sabihin mo. But try to stay on topic and avoid personal attacks. Only privileged Barrio people & readers are allowed to swear.
