ANC Implements Paid Subscription in their Live Streaming
Eyeswear to OMFG! This is La Kapitana speaking sonata! I was very happy with GMA7 Live Streaming but they were out when Tita Cory was being transferred to Manila Cathedral. So, I swicthed to ANC na nakuha ko ang link dun sa website ni Tita Cory. I was even very happy because I saw this newscaster mentioning Barrio Siete in his news, I captured that moment and sent the pics to everyone in the Barrio. So, I was hooked right? And I was very happy with ANC’s service to Cory Citizens like me. Yes, moi, who is abroad, in the dark corners of New Orleans, Lousiana in the United States, where my only source of information was their link. Even my family in Philadelphia were watching the live streaming too. As well as my Kuya and cousins in Virginia Beach. And then… it was like, pinapasok lang kami, kinulong and booom!
Update: According to our ka-barrios, ANC has returned to its free live streaming. Yun ang chika ngayon!
Oh really, are you really for the service of the Filipino? How come that just recently ANC is now CHARGING THE VIEWERS?!?! How come that just recently ANC is now asking readers to pay the subscriptions first for their live streaming before the viewers can watch Tita Cory’s funeral at Manila Cathedral as well as the burial?
Darn. Is that for the service of the Filipino? Taking advantage of the number of people who will be watching the event just to earn huge profits from them? Are they looking to people as MILKING CASH COWS?
Profits! Profits! Profits!
Is it all about profits or honest public service to the Filipino nation? Maybe they should get their faces imprinted on our money para forever na silang nasa pera? 
Reyna (La Kapitana) has been screaming all the way from the barangay hall in New Orleans about this scenario. Most OFWs are having ANC as one of their live streaming options (aside from GMAnews, of course). If I were in the same situation, I would like grab my gulok and kawa just to fry these profiteering people! John! Lee! Ilabas na natin ang kawa at patatas!
This is just showing how inconsiderate some people are just to earn profits. And ironic, one of their famous slogans is FOR THE SERVICE OF THE FILIPINO. Hindi kaya napaka-unfair and rude naman ito? And why is it all of sudden e bigla na lang nagpasubscribe ang mga ito? Diba? They thought siguro na people will pay for the money talaga in order to see Tita Cory’s funeral.
Wrong move, ANC.
You can never mix profiteering and public service. They are like oil and water. You can never do profiteering when you are serving the public for it betrays the cause of selflessly serving the public – just like what Tita Cory did. Even Tita Cory herself, did not get any cent nor retirement benefits EKLAT from her duty as a president. E kayo pa kaya? Litsi.

May bayad talaga ABS-CBN NOW, ginawa lang nilang FREE yung stream dahil kay Cory. Nagkaron lang ng conflict yan sa license kaya bumalik sa paid stream. Ngayon, nakakastream na ako ulit free.

Asa Pinas ako at napapanood ko ang coverage when I want to. Noong una, nanood ako sa ANC, minsan sa channel 2, but most often, sa channel 7 ako nanonood kahit hindi continues ang coverage. Simple lang pero maganda ang coverage. Dito nga natin masasabi na quantity does not mean quality. Sana lang ANC and abs-cbn, yung mga pinapaupo ninyo sa inyong news coverage, alam ang pinagsasabi. and ricky carandang, you suck big time. dahil lang sa mali-mali ang bali-balikong mag-ingles ang isa ninyong field reporter, e bigla kang magtatagalog pag siya ang kausap mo and switch back to ingles pag iba na ang kausap mo. you just have the kapal ng mukha para magkaroon ng kompyansa but your english also sucks big time. kaya be polite next time ha and give the others to have that confidence to spokening dollar. in due time, kakapal din ang mukha nila to speak “baroque” english.
and abs-cbn and gma7, please lang po. kris is not the aquino clan. yun lang po.

One of my facilitators in English speaking and writing advised me not to watch the local late night news because of the “baroque” english.
If I want squeaky clean english daw, I should watch CNN na lang.

Di pa kasi established yung ganung service dito sa atin. Unlike sa CNN at Facebook coverage everytime na may significant event sa US.
Toni, ilang beses kong inopen uli and i found out na hindi lang pala ako, nag-compare kami nang notes just in case

this made me say “DAMN WOW” GMA7 news and public affairs rocks!!!! ang lupet!!! i was comparing the live coverage of the two largest tv network in the phil of tita cory’s funeral and i kinda notice that ABS-CBN is some how have better positions and better footage compare to GMA!!! there was even a time where GMA journalist used a fone by via 3g just to have an actual footage!!! and damn!!! that was amazing!!! and chills was sending through my spine when i heard Ms. Jessica Soho reporting live at tita cory’s funeral!!! that was amazing!!
