“Media monitors have stated that Manny Villar has spent around 2.5B in campaign advertising. Tsk, tsk…, tsk, the official campaign hasn’t even begun. At this rate, he’sll be spending a lot more. How, in case he wins, do you think will he recoup that personal expense?” ~Leah Navarro
Got this through Lila Shahani’s facebook that came from Lea Navarro’s facebook which I am posting and sharing without permission hahaha! See, I was looking for more information about why Noynoy’s numbers drastically went down. Of course, I was disappointed but still hopeful …

And so Noynoy Aquino and Manny Villar are now statistically tied based on the latest Pulse Asia survey. I’m disappointed to see Noynoy’s ranking went down, then again, understand that there’s no denying that Manny Villar’s basura advertisement worked.
Previous to the Pulse Asia results, the latest SWS Survey results have it that, Aquino at 42%, Villar at 35%. It’s now down to 7% and Villar camp sees it as within striking distance. Now, understand that the inclusive dates as to when the survey was conducted was January 21 to …

By William M. Esposo
How do you solve a problem like Noynoy Aquino? Just imagine the stress that Noynoy’s presidential rivals are going through these days.
How do you solve the classic problem of having to face the man people regard as good when it so happens that as a presidential candidate you are only suitable to be offered as the lesser evil?
How do you bring down the phenomenal poll ratings of a presidential candidate that is threatening to attain …

I was watching the 7:00 news tonight and I was glued to the TV, listening to the commentaries, news, gossips, what have you about the alleged sex tape of John Edwards! Whoah! I was flipping channels! Hahaha! What is going on?! I want to know! eeeek! I want to see! Haha!
John Edwards’ former flunky says he’s been offered “gigantic amounts of money” for a sordid sex tape of the failed presidential candidate and his mistress. “And we’ve said no,” Andrew Young said Monday on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” Young wouldn’t …

If winning the Presidency will have to be based on debates, I’d say, Gibo wins it hands down. In the past debates and forums, he’s always been prepared, well-spoken and knows what he’s talking about. I’ve always admired Gibo in terms of his credentials. But see, he’s got a baggage I don’t like. And at the Presidential Forum in DLSU, he was toasted, grilled and barbecued. Not his day. Here’s what I gathered from the news: (GMA News) and Inquirer)
Failon asked:
“Is there something for which President Arroyo should be held …

First, get yourself educated with the disease. Here’s one good site. I bet you, most people in Manila thinks that HIV is AIDS.
Now, I have no clue why the papers would plaster this phrase “call center workers” on their headline about the rise of HIV in Manila. I thought it was pretty irresponsible. Why? Soon, call center workers will be stereotyped as spreading the virus which is not true.
Unfortunately, in the Philippines where the use of condom is like a mortal sin, you even get a capital punishment from …

Here’s what drove the Senators to make bastos each other sa Bastusang Pambansa. It’s a nice presentation (thanks to GMA News) to truly understand how all these liko-liko, balu-baluktot highway seemed to be looking for something and it was not even the original plan. Sometimes, you begin to wonder, bakit kaya ganun ka-blatant sila by doing this? I would guess, because there has been so many of them in the past who were able to get away with blatant corruption, otherwise, why would politicians do what they do no matter …

I saw these videos on the Noypi-Ako site which I am sharing you. This is the open forum part when Noynoy Aquino was at the Makati Business Club Event and here he is responding to questions on his Economic Vision policy speech. Interesting topics include Marcos ill-gotten wealth and the Lucio Tan issue, what if we don’t have any President by June 30 and GMA is still there. It even touched on those ads put out by GMA on the papers, OFWs, the reproductive health and of course, Kris.

Nagulat ako with all these news na para syang puzzle and I put them all together at eto ang nakita ko saking bolang kristal na nakabitay between my legs:
“The Philippines budget deficit soared 17 percent above the official target last year as spending rose to offset the impacts of the global financial crisis, an official said Monday. The deficit hit 293.2 billion pesos (6.35 billion dollars) in 2009, equivalent to 3.7 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP), a finance department official, who declined to be named, told AFP. This …

There’s a new name to watch on the US Figure Skating and it’s nice to hear that he’s Filipino. His name? Christopher Caluza, from San Diego and he is the only Filipino in the 2010 US National Figure Skating Championships placing 8th in the Jr. Men’s. Nice huh? Last week, the Arroyo Administration came up with a two-page advertisements in newspapers titled, “Ganito Tayo Noon, Ganito Tayo Ngayon” trumpeting their achievements. Now, I don’t have a copy of the ad because my secretary was busy with her Farmville. I do not want to disturb her, lest I’d be voted out as the cutest boss to work for.
Now, the other day, Noynoy Aquino’s speech at the Makati Business Club’s Event was very well received by the business community. In that speech, he talked about the looming fiscal crisis. He …

“The leader, who has used public office for private gain, will always be the most committed enemy of change.”
That was Noynoy Aquino’s statement at the Makati Business Club where he was speaking to a standing-room-only crowd. The crowd included many of the country’s captains of industry. This was where Aquino laid out a pro-business and pro-market agenda while distancing himself from often-criticized methods of the Arroyo administration.
His eight-page speech, delivered in about 18 minutes, was interrupted by applause at least seven times. At the end of his speech, MBC …
