Eric Bordeos, you little snit, the online hatred that you sow with Amiel Cabanlig and Paul Farol, you will reap. You come crawling to me begging to have your name and link removed from my site because you don’t want people to google you and see what a hateful creature you really are. Amazingly, you were bewildered as to why this is happening to you — kasi to this day, you still think you haven’t done anything wrong. Talk about delusional! Now I can confirm that your self-confessed drug addiction …

After the three of you accused me of non-existent crimes and went to town pasting it all over the internet? And not even content with that, you even participated in the google-enhancement of all that false idiocy. Ang kapal mo din, ano?

The harsh summer rain practically pounded our wooden stage into toilet tissues, and my boss, the indomitable Susan Tagle, asked me to make a judgment call whether to cancel the event or not. Half an hour before midnight, the downpour showed no sign of mercy. The special guest was waiting in her car parked near Trinoma. Without an umbrella, I braved the cold wind and wetness to stand on the stage for a better view of what was around me: hundreds of people waiting since …

My company is involved in a mixed-use housing finance project, and some of the units will be offered as tax credit units. I am attending a training, to understand how the program will be run, from the financial side, to the operations to the all-important compliance monitoring, understanding what to look for during compliance audits and whose rule to follow – the grant, agreement, State rules, or the Federal rules. There are no perfect programs and there are no perfect clients in the program. That’s why these programs are heavy …

No rave reviews here for Charice’s acting. Sorry.
I know Charice singing on Glee last night was more that great! It was more than uber. Her rendition of the song “Listen”, excellent! Way better than the original. But why was she smiling all throughout even during the bathroom confrontation? I don’t get it! So, in terms of acting?! Sorry kids, but no rave reviews for me here. Could be better. Needs a lot of improvement. Like Simon Cowell, her acting is horrendously forgettable. That’s my score.

Dear Mr. President,
Thank you for your response to my Facebook note. Oh, if I have a peso for every head of State who sent me letters I’d have enough money to pay for the Peace Bond which matures next year. Yes, let’s talk about that some other time.
Seriously, Mr. President, thank you. We may see things differently, coming from entirely different points of view, but your willingness to engage ordinary citizens like me in a dialogue is a sign that you have not forgotten …

One of the articles he wrote and posted on FB has gotten so many links and I don’t have to explain why people starts to link an article, right? It was this one: Mr. President, Something In You Has To Die. This morning, I noticed a link response posted on his original note. I …

Yesterday, at a press conference, Pres. Aquino announced his plan to create a security force similar to the British SAS composed of around 200 to 400 police and military personnel to be deployed during crisis situations. This was a policy response to the Aug. 23 Hostage Crisis that led to the death of 8 Hong Kong tourists. On its face, such creation seems responsive to the crisis capability issues of our security forces that were brought to light by the Aug. 23 incident. However, upon close scrutiny, there …

MANILA, Philippines – Seven hundred signatures in a day is hardly record-breaking stuff in an era of messages going viral within hours. Still, the Facebook supporters of Interior and Local Governments Secretary Jesse Robredo believe they can 1) persuade President Benigno Simeon Aquino III to submit the Ramon Magsaysay awardee’s name to the Commission on Appointments (CA), and 2) pressure “trapos” into confirming the former mayor of Naga City.

I had not seen a mirror since I had been in the hospital. When visitors came, I just asked whoever was with me, if I looked ok. So I never knew that my appearance had changed so dramatically, that even my own child didn’t recognize me.
I hugged and kissed and kissed and hugged my little girl. She was still dazed from sleep and probably didn’t understand why this strange lady was hugging and kissing her. Her dad was watching and so was her grandma, …

An hour after the ICU doctor saw me, my mind started to clear. Slowly. My husband was called in. I wouldn’t be able to fully describe the look on his face. There was relief. There was gratefulness. There was marvel. There was happiness. There was love. I saw it, and at that moment, I knew things were going to be ok.
I fell asleep again shortly and I was woken up, a few hours later by many voices. Three …

I was diagnosed with diabetes in July of 2001 as doctors tried to save my life.
Weeks before that day, I was rapidly losing weight but I thought it was just because of my extreme schedule. The country was in another upheaval. The media knew no rest. I hardly slept and ate at abnormal hours. I was in denial even as I felt my energy ebb out of me like a punctured water balloon.
Finally, a few days beforer that fateful day, I called in …

The Philippines faces a huge international public relations problem that if we do not resolve soon may increase the threat of retribution against our workers in HK and wreak havoc to our economy by destroying our tourism industry.
We had united to install an honest man as president and our shining victory held us in thrall for a time. President Aquino’s first actions showed an example of humility for us all. Then he set the ball running swiftly to reform our systems to …

The known facts are these:
On August 19, 2005, Emmanuel “Bong” Madrigal, a Manila-based Filipino executive of the multinational Shell, was visiting Beijing on vacation with his wife Vivian, his daugher Regina Mia, and two younger daughters. That day, they rode a tourist bus to Tiananmen Square, the heart of the capitol. Upon arriving at the square, Emmanuel Madrigal was the first to descend from the bus, followed by Vivian and Regina Mia. A Chinese man wielding a scythe–in some reports …

Let me begin by saying that you will be reading a SONA reaction from a loyal Noynoy Aquino supporter. However, this does not mean that I will be singing kumbaya with my President at all times – just because. Having said that, I will try to be fair with Gloria Arroyo (Can you imagine me saying that? I must be going nuts!) By saying that the findings would have been more believable if it was conducted by a third-party and/or independent auditors and I’m certainly not referring …

We’re getting to be known as a country of plagiarizers. All the way up to the Supreme Court.
