Naubusan na ba talaga nang fire ang Barrio Siete?!
My 12th State of the Barrio Address (SOBA) addresses Roni’s comment here na personally, medyo nairita ako! Hahaha! Ano ba Roni?! Leche ka! Grrr!
“Laos ka na ba Reynz?“
Para bang it smacks of sumtin’ sumtin’ na hindi maganda pakinggan. But it’s ok. Ganyan lang yan si Roni, who abruptly left Barrio with his internal fight with a number of B7 writers. Sabi nga ni bluep, matira ang matibay.
“Laos ka na ba Reynz?“
I don’t know if it’s a challenge for the …

I’m not ignorant about racial discrimination, bias or however you mix those words. I don’t really understand why people here in my Barrio States of America gets infuriated if say a white person, paints himself black and be black for a moment, or a black person paints himself white to be a white person. Ok. So, what? Kung alam lang nila, that whitening products are the best selling shit in Asia hahaha! Yes, most Asians wants to be white. Filipinos included! Haller! Hahaha!
America is just uber sensitive. Shit like these …

I’m not a weather forecaster, but just like everyone, I have been monitoring the map on the Weather Channel and it looked like the storm Santi, just passed by Luzon.
In fact, the reddish part of the storm actually became smaller. I hear this most of the time from the weather forecasters that when these storms makes a landfall, typically they lose the punch. I don’t know if that’s what happened here. But it looked like it’s over.
It must be very interesting to be a weather forecaster. Kung pwede lang ngang …

Wanted: Vice President. Celebrity. Crowd drawer. Yan ang problema ni Gibo. Kasi naman eh. Bat’s kasi… ano eh…
“Our preference really is Vilma Santos,” Guico told the Inquirer. “She can raise Gibo’s popularity. She’s had a lot of experience and is a veteran of local government. She’s well-respected.” (Source: Low ratings make it hard to get No. 2 )
For all those excellent credentials, sometimes I feel that Gibo was not thinking strategically by aligning himself with her. So even with Ate Vi’s magic wand, kung meron man sya …

Recession is something that we all seem to know. But when one start throwing in words like macroeconomic indicators, GDP, consumer spending, inflation – the whole concept becomes difficult to understand. Even the book definition is still somewhat difficult to comprehend to a non-economist.
They say that “two successive quarters of negative growth mark the beginning of a recession and two successive quarters of positive growth mark the start of an expansion.”
And so I woke up this morning with a lot of good news on TV and on the internet. Everyone’s …

Samoa. Where one tsunami swept one day. No warning. No nothing. This is the American Samoa. Where the United States sent million and millions of dollars to prepare the island for emergency like this. Yet, somehow, those millions disappeared of about $13 million in disaster preparedness grant. The allegations are that some of those monies were used to pay for “extra personnel”. In the Philippines, its spelled “ghost employees”. Hahaha! In fact, if you spell Samoa backwards, its spelled Flippines. Eeek mali! Sorry. Its spelled DDSW hahaha! Anak nang leche! …

And to some, Chiz is the leader. Kaya lang, tumiwalag na pala si Chiz sa NPC. Ang cheezmaks sa FB me gusto raw magbayad nang P1 billion just for Chiz to give up his ambitions to run for President. Teka lang… hindi naman ata front runner si Chiz, so what’s the P1 billion for? I could declare not …

From forwarded emails:
“I must confess I am one of those who felt that the attempt at a reprise of the People Power saga, this time a signature campaign for the designated heir of the Aquino legacy, Senator Noynoy Aquino, was a throwback to some old diseases of the traditional electoral system personalism and the predilection to fall back on tired political symbols.”
“But seeing on television the announcement of Noynoy’s candidacy, I was unaccountably moved to tears. It could not be accounted, I think, to the resurfacing of …

There’s a new tropical storm heading for the Philippines mga kabarrio. It intensified further Tuesday night and now has an international code name, Mirinae. I read the article that ran today: RP tourism competitiveness slips five notches which said:
The country last year occupied the 81st spot among the more than 130 countries included in the study. This year, the country fell five notches to No. 86.
Its bad enough that the infrastructure in the North have been battered by Ondoy and Pepeng, then here comes the bad news on tourism. But let me leave that infrastructure and standards for them to figure out. For me, goodwill is important. Image is everything. Priority-wise, if …

Kaya tuloy when Loren formally declared her bid for vice presidency in 2010, interestingly, Danding Cojuangco was not even there to witness one Josefanya Rizal moment. If you’ve seen the new layout and design of CNN, you’d be impressed. Continually being on top of their game, CNN changed their layout today to a much more deliciously designed online newspaper, great photography and a lot more crispier pictures, nice layout design and tons of videos. What’s more, it’s a lot easier to share the stories you like on facebook and on twitter! Truly standing up to it’s name as the global leader. I believe, they are really tops as far as leveraging technology in delivering …

Out of nowhere, I suddenly remembered my fourth year adviser back in high school. I would say she was intelligent. She was very knowledgeable of uncommon things such as theories which are not commonly discussed, as well as palm reading.
One afternoon during our break, we talked about marriage, crushes, early pregnancy, relationships and other related topics. Of course, the most “kilig moments” of talking were about those of our during teenage years. She said, you know what, back in college, I read my classmate’s palm then I discovered that she’s …

The City of Philadelphia went wild last night. The Phillies (Philadelphia) beat Dodgers (Los Angeles) 10-4, to win the National League Championship and return to the World Series for a rare chance to win the World Series back to back. Last year, they beat Tampa Bay and they are the only other team to win the National League back to back like what the Cincinnati Reds did in 1975-76. New York Yankees would win the title three consecutive times from 1998 to 2000.
