VIEWER DISCRETION: Not for the faint-hearted or for those who have weak stomachs.
I know I should have posted this a long time ago (well, thanks to some busyness there…argh >.<) But with the turn of events in Maguindanao: the lifting of the martial law, the rebellion charges while in fact it should be mass murder (genocide perhaps) to those bastards who ruled that place like facking Sith Lords (they made Darth Vader, Darth Maul and Emperor Palpatine looked tame and lame) and all the non-sense, unfruitful investigation pep talk …

Ending months of speculation, President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo formally announced on Monday that she will be running for congresswoman of Pampanga’s second district.
In a recorded interview aired over the government-run dzRB radio station, Arroyo said: “Gaya ng alam ninyo, hiniling rin ako ng mga mamayan ng aking tahanang distrito sa Pampanga na manatili sa buhay publiko (As you all know, the residents of Pampanga’s second district have urged me to remain in public service).”
“After …

I received a sad news this previous week from a colleague of mine: some of our former teachers have been ill lately. Like for example, my former high school science teacher has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She had mastectomy (surgical removal of breasts) already and unfortunately, the cancer has already metastasized to her ovaries and bone. Surprisingly, when I asked my former biology teacher (of whom I crossed paths last Friday), I found out that this particular science teacher of mine, despite of her illness, she still …

Ever since the barbaric actions happened in Maguindanao which resulted to 67 casualties – mostly women, journalists and lawyers – committed brazenly in broad daylight, I have wondered if there is still democracy in this country or perhaps, if the principles of democracy is still alive today.
What happened in that fateful day is beyond words. Not even any bit of cuss words can be said at those pathetic, no-ball barbarian bastards who just went on trigger happy – snuffing the life out of those innocents. There was not …

Way back in my student days, I regularly watch “The Battle of the Brains”. Aside from learning new stuff, my brain muscles also get flexed. Here’s a clip from one of the old episodes of that game show:
Siguro naman, during those days, lahat ng estudyanteng nakakapanood nyan e kumahog sa pagsagot ng mga questions dyan. E pano ba naman, may kahirapan din ang mga tanong dyan noh! Kaya nga Battle of the Brains eh!
Pero nitong mga nakalipas na taon, especially years after the last Battle of the Brains …

Remember this photo? Yes, its one of the many photos of Manny caught kissing and flirting with girls other than Jinkee last year sa Embassy.
The rumors about the alleged Manny Pacquiao and Krista Ranillo affair are really spreading like wild fire across the internet. People have been buzzing about it for a while and according to a GMAnews.tv article, it could eclipse the victory achieved by Pacquiao over Miguel Cotto.
I tried to access the celebrity nation.tv website (which is the original source of the video btw) …

I know that this is a bit late na for Halloween. But heck! Scary movies and stories are an all-year-around staple sa huntahang bayan, pati na din sa inuman ng mga lasenggo!
My friends via Facebook are going gaga over this mala-Blairwitch type of movie. I have searched via Youtube for its trailers and here’s what I have found:
I asked my friend if this film is going to be shown here in the Philippines. Unfortunately, di pa daw ata palabas. I dunno. May katamaran din akong sumilip sa movie …

I remember my old Barrio days na kung saan nakikinuod ako ng TV or Betamax sa kapitbahay.

Here’s the clip:
Amazingly, kahit napunta sa ilalim ng train ang six-month old baby boy na ito, himalang nakaligtas siya with nothing more than a bump on his head. Nakalimutan ng kanyang motherly yours na i-aaply ang brakes ng stroller kaya naitulak ito ng hangin palabas ng platform! Kaloka!

Way back in the 1990s, climate change had been discussed but nobody seemed to take it seriously. I remembered in my elementary science textbooks about greenhouse effect and global warming – all of it have been discussed throughout the book. In my highschool and college years, climate change became a rampant topic, more than ever, as people began noticing the signs of the changing earth. Noticing, yes, but not making actions on it especially the governments. When the Kyoto Protocol was enacted, not even the United States dared …

Yes, you read it right. US President Barack Obama was awarded with the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize for this year. In an article from CNN. com:
The first African-American to win the White House, Obama was praised by the Norweigan Nobel Committee for “his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.”
“Only very rarely has a person to the same extent as Obama captured the world’s attention and given its people hope for a better future,” the committee said. “His diplomacy is founded in the concept that …

Voting 5-2, the committee on constitutional amendments approved the budget allocation proposed by Cavite Rep. Elpidio Barzaga Jr., the vice chairman of the committee who led the technical working group on con-con proposals.
The proposed budget allocation covers one year within which the con-con should finish amending the Charter.

I saw today’s boxing match between Marquez and Mayweather Jr. and yes, I admit that Floyd Mayweather Jr. showed exemplary agility and boxing prowess in the ring. My expectation is that Marquez will win the fight but unfortunately, the known counter- puncher did not even made a dent on Mayweather Jr’s face. The fight supposedly have taken place in July was moved to September because of Mayweather’s rib injury. Still surprisingly, he didnt even show that he had the injury and went on to box out Marquez.

This is one of the things I really, really do not like about our politicians especially with the ones sitting their assess in the Senate. Instead of busy authoring bills and help turn them into laws, what I am seeing almost every month is a heated privileged yada-yada speech about a particular issue – and most of it are about their fellow lawmakers too. I have high expectations for the Senate, you know.
There’s Jamby Madrigal vs. Manny Villar. Then Senator Bong Revilla with his heated privileged speech about …
