According to the cheezmaks grapevine, Noynoy’s strength is his “purity” so that’s where they are trying to hit him.
These CD’s daw are being distributed sa lahat nang local government units in the country, kasali na …

From the facebook wall of Sylvia Morningstar, copy-pasted by Robert Young, Jr.
Everyone in the media knows Lito Banayo’s in Erap’s team. And we note that he and his teammate Dacky Paredes have been attacking Villar consistently. Sometimes I wonder just how much patience everyone has for this billiard game – You hit the cue ball: Villar. All the other colored balls that move in chain reaction from the cue ball either fall into a target basket OR go rolling to some other direction. That takes patience and steady nerve. How …

I’ve worked in the public housing industry in the United States for many years, overseeing housing investment tax credits and low income housing programs, which is why I would love to see a similar type of program be introduced in the Philippines, if there isn’t any in place. I’ve searched some government websites but I could not seem to find any information about affordable housing programs in the Philippines, I guess affordable housing programs are still called “squatters”. But even that is no longer affordable. You get evicted anytime. Popular …

If winning the Presidency will have to be based on debates, I’d say, Gibo wins it hands down. In the past debates and forums, he’s always been prepared, well-spoken and knows what he’s talking about. I’ve always admired Gibo in terms of his credentials. But see, he’s got a baggage I don’t like. And at the Presidential Forum in DLSU, he was toasted, grilled and barbecued. Not his day. Here’s what I gathered from the news: (GMA News) and Inquirer)
Failon asked:
“Is there something for which President Arroyo should be held …

Here’s what drove the Senators to make bastos each other sa Bastusang Pambansa. It’s a nice presentation (thanks to GMA News) to truly understand how all these liko-liko, balu-baluktot highway seemed to be looking for something and it was not even the original plan. Sometimes, you begin to wonder, bakit kaya ganun ka-blatant sila by doing this? I would guess, because there has been so many of them in the past who were able to get away with blatant corruption, otherwise, why would politicians do what they do no matter …

Nagulat ako with all these news na para syang puzzle and I put them all together at eto ang nakita ko saking bolang kristal na nakabitay between my legs:
“The Philippines budget deficit soared 17 percent above the official target last year as spending rose to offset the impacts of the global financial crisis, an official said Monday. The deficit hit 293.2 billion pesos (6.35 billion dollars) in 2009, equivalent to 3.7 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP), a finance department official, who declined to be named, told AFP. This …

“I rise on a question of collective privilege on a constitutional issue that affects the integrity of the House and it is very ripe to continue existing.
In the course of the fight for the speakership, Rep. Agapito Aquino, chairman of the reform bloc, raised questions regarding the fitness of Rep. Villar to seek the speakership. Rep. Villar chose to answer the charges but he was overwhelmingly elected Speaker by this House.
Successful election, however, does not answer the questions nor lay to rest charges of wrongdoing, not in government of …

NOW WHAT?!
My problem with these corruption cases and what really pisses me off is that: WHY DO THEY CATCH THEM AFTER THE FACT when most plunderers have already benefited from stolen public money? WHERE IS COA? THE COMMISSION ON AUDIT?! How come there are no proactive moves from the government to stop corruption? With dozens and dozens of legislators, senators, congressman and a lot of departments here, chairman there, secretary here, does anybody from the government knew and/or heard about “PROPER INTERNAL CONTROLS” or was this knowingly and blatantly erased …

There ought to be a law. Congressmen are allocated P70 million a year as pork barrel, on top of their regular pay, allowances and benefits. The least that congressmen can give back to their employer, the Filipino taxpayer, is to work on legislation in between the many lengthy congressional breaks throughout the year.
In many government offices, there are so-called “15-30” employees: people who are seen only during payday on the 15th and 30th of every month, to collect their salary. Negros …

“Filipino scholars’ abroad urged to return to the Philippines and share what they have learned to help improve the country’s academic and industrial sectors. Helpless Filipino politicians??? Sounds charity for the love of country.”
Seriously, if any local or multinational company or university in the Philippines hires me, I’ll go home. I am available. Bakit, sino bang ayaw umuwi? But not for charity. I don’t have any financial darna skills to increase my kakarampot na negative net worth to a million in just a year.
Now, Senator Edgardo Angara just …

I was mum. There’s a new war brewing over the horizon. And I, Anakanang Skywalker, was not up for it.
After that inter-galactic war of the not-so-distant past and some short intensity conflicts I eagerly joined for the Barriotic cause, I am not quite sure if the men are ready for yet another battle.
Personal reasons are also prominent more than just the practical. I have friends on both sides. My allegiance goes to the empire, to which I served and fought dutifully, as well as to some newly-acquired friends who calls …

You read it right. What was the teacher’s role, Jena Isle, in the 2009 Emerging Influential Blog Awards by Janette Toral?!
My entry today, focuses on Jena Isle and her role in the 2009 Emerging Influential Blog Awards by Janette Toral. I have reasons to believe that she holds the biggest key to the questionable sprouting of Chem Bloggers blogs in favor of Jedi Bloggers who “won” the awards. Jena Isle claims that she is a teacher and we believe she is. Her blog or most of her other blogs …

Apparently, the Jedi Bloggers decided to get the services of an American blogger as their Spinmaster of the 2009 Emerging Influential Blog Awards by Janette Toral. Here’s a short (real email – not the full contents) conversation:
“As long as nothing in the encouragement of these students to vote for the Jedi Bloggers was against any of the contest rules, then what’s the worry? I’d just ignore it. It’s sad that RE wants to put a taint on the winners.”
“Reynz voted for my blog. I did not reciprocate his gesture. …

Ano ba talaga tong multilevel or “network” marketing plans? Well, isa syang way to sell goods or services through distributors.

Sige seryoso muna tayo. Aayusin ko muna ang maluwag kong turnilyo. Class, lecture muna.
The National Statistical Coordination Board reported that the economy grew by 0.4 percent from January to March, prompting NSCB Secretary General Romulo Virola to remark that the economy was teetering into recession.
