Adam Corolla is a struggling Italian-American radio host. And like so many radio host who wants instant fame, they look for their victim that they could lash out for that popularity. End result of course would be high radio ratings where they could charge higher advertising rates. See the connection?
Adam Carolla’s target was Manny Pacquiao. Yes, our boxing icon Manny Pacquiao who we don’t want to be in politics. He was calling him illiterate and for implying that the Philippines is a nation of whores!
Adam Carolla made a name as …

Ok. Ever since I outed myself supporting Noynoy Aquino for Philippine Presidency, I’ve earned the ire and hatred of a lot of Filipinos. Well, this time around, I have to prepare, because Canadians will hate me this time. Why?

Did you watched the Vancouver Olympic Opening Ceremonies?
One word. Boring. I mean, really. Achingly boring.
At first, I thought I was watching cartoons. Then there was this guy who was like a preacher. Oh! And KD Lang with her/his Allelujah! I was confused if I was watching the Olympics or a Prayer …

Yeah! Yeah! Even if one claims that Tiger Woods is one horny animal, still, there’s no reason for these women to ruin Tiger’s life. Of course! Tiger had the last say for his golf club swing! Haller! And so, here we are with waitress Jaimee Grubbs saying sorry to Tiger Wood’s wife on US television for sleeping with her superstar husband. She made the apology to Elin Nordegen in an Extra interview.
“I couldn’t describe how remorseful that I am to have hurt her family and her emotionally.”
Whatever!

It’s been a stressful ordeal reading the news back home lately. When I heard that Arroyo filed her CoC for Congress, I was really mad. I was disgusted. The nerve of that woman! I really wanted to punch her face until I found out this GAME, the best game there is – walang sinabi ang CounterStrike, Grand Theft Auto or any RPG games diyan. This GAME is indeed a stress reliever. Itataya ko ang mga utang ko na magugustohan ninyo ito. You will thank me for this.
Play it now HERE.

In the wee hours of one Orlando morning, Tiger Woods smashed his car, ran over the hydrant and hit a tree, became unconscious and laying outside his SUV. His wife told Windermere police she used a golf club to smash the back windows to help him out.
“This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way,” Woods said. “Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible. …
“I appreciate all the concern …

“I just think I’m an ordinary fighter,” Pacquiao said. “When I fight a good fighter, sometimes I can beat him. “  And as many fighters like to proclaim themselves as the best, Manny continues to give props to the business, his opponents, his trainers, his family, his country, God, and his fans.
He is hailed as the pound-for-pound king  of our generation and is argued to be better than the all-time greats like Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray, and Marvin Hagler.  “It is not for me to say where I am in the history …

I hate baseball!

But after getting free tickets for the Seattle Mariners game from work, I didn’t hesistate to take the opportunity to bring my whole family to our first professional sports event. Free tickets, free hotdogs, free soda, fun with family and friends, and watching my half-brother, Ichiro…almost perfect! Only thing missing was a bowl of spare ribs teriyaki.

The City of Philadelphia went wild last night. The Phillies (Philadelphia) beat Dodgers (Los Angeles) 10-4, to win the National League Championship and return to the World Series for a rare chance to win the World Series back to back. Last year, they beat Tampa Bay and they are the only other team to win the National League back to back like what the Cincinnati Reds did in 1975-76. New York Yankees would win the title three consecutive times from 1998 to 2000.

I saw today’s boxing match between Marquez and Mayweather Jr. and yes, I admit that Floyd Mayweather Jr. showed exemplary agility and boxing prowess in the ring. My expectation is that Marquez will win the fight but unfortunately, the known counter- puncher did not even made a dent on Mayweather Jr’s face. The fight supposedly have taken place in July was moved to September because of Mayweather’s rib injury. Still surprisingly, he didnt even show that he had the injury and went on to box out Marquez.

I was mum. There’s a new war brewing over the horizon. And I, Anakanang Skywalker, was not up for it.
After that inter-galactic war of the not-so-distant past and some short intensity conflicts I eagerly joined for the Barriotic cause, I am not quite sure if the men are ready for yet another battle.
Personal reasons are also prominent more than just the practical. I have friends on both sides. My allegiance goes to the empire, to which I served and fought dutifully, as well as to some newly-acquired friends who calls …

Mga Ka-Barrio! Public service announcement lang, nakalimutang kong i-post ito last week. Ngayon ang last day of registration.
Running is not just the latest trendy exercise today – it is now a lifestyle. When you run, you don’t only head towards better health and longer life, you’re headed towards a quality of life that you’d wish you had for many years now, and for many years to come. And, with Globe’s Run for Home, the running trend is literally taken to the streets to take people off the streets.
