There’s one blogger who libelously and slanderously blogged that I was a paedophile and would soon be blogged by drug addicts and AIDS stricken foreign germs. Well, I just found out today that this blogger who originally blogged that I was a paedophile improved his blogging abilities tremendously by deleting all of his slanderous articles against me. His problem is that we have captures, copies and screenshots, just in case I become friends with the next Supreme Court Justice.
So, to all these reyna haters, I came up with a prayer …

On September 11, 2001, in the comfort of my home in Iowa, I remember watching the graphic images in New York in horror and disbelief. As it became clearer that foreign nationals were responsible, I felt the imminent threat closer to home. It was not the fear of terrorists possibly coming to the heartland of America, but the idea of the U.S. government tearing my family apart. I knew then that we would be going to war and my wife, a soldier, would have to go, too.

And so eight years later, almost a trillion dollars spent, hundreds of thousands killed or injured , many more families broken, and a new president, the war continues. And now, President Obama calls for 30,000 more soldiers to deploy to Afghanistan in hopes to finally finish the job.

Hala! Our 2010 Election has truly become some We Are Family – mapapahiya ang Carnival sa Rio. And if we have Balimbing as the National Political Fruit, welcome Garapata: The Official animal of Philippine Politics. Fiesta sya and you don’t have to travel to Maguindanao para makakita nang warlord. Andami kamo nila!
Yeap! So, wer wer we? Let’s start here.
Gloria Arroyo have two (2) sons in Congress already, merong pang Iggy at Lourdes. With her running for public office …

Words cannot describe the tragedy in Maguindanao. We all know that politics in the Philippines is dirty and violent, but this is beyond every Pinoy’s imagination. Many have been mum in disbelief that humans were capable of this horror, let alone a generally good-natured Filipino.

The news and the images circulating around the press and the internet not only presents our country to more embarassment and prejudice, but also neglects the need for privacy and comfort of the families of those who perished. Furthermore, it can further traumatize the already bruised and beaten sense of safety and innocence.

Hello mga ka-barrio, time-out muna tayo sa ‘political discussions’ ha? It’s getting hot in our beloved Barrio Siete na kasi dahil sa dami ng anonymous commenters. Charing!

Here is the recap of the ongoing pageant:

Evelyn Almasi of Tanzania was named Best in National Costume.

Best in Swimsuit Award goes to our very own …

“I just think I’m an ordinary fighter,” Pacquiao said. “When I fight a good fighter, sometimes I can beat him. “  And as many fighters like to proclaim themselves as the best, Manny continues to give props to the business, his opponents, his trainers, his family, his country, God, and his fans.
He is hailed as the pound-for-pound king  of our generation and is argued to be better than the all-time greats like Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray, and Marvin Hagler.  “It is not for me to say where I am in the history …

Hello patriots!
Yes it’s me again, Eklat at your service.
You know I just arrived from a week of rehab, I mean, vacation in LA and the news that Yaya Indira has for me when I arrived was this controversial video of presidentiable Noynoy Aquino. Of course I have not seen the video before because tv and internet is forbidden in the ‘vacation home’. Yaya …

Sabay-sabay nating basahin. Gooooo!

Hello my dear minions!
I know that you’re glad to see my name pop up in Barrio Siete again.

Well forgive moi to keep you waiting because I’ve been so much busy doing charity work these days. I told you what I did during the Ondoy tragedy last month and after that grueling experience, I had to detoxify myself for two weeks in sunny Bahamas.
When I got back, …

With the 2010 Malacañang Got Talent (sa Pagnanakaw) Show coming, I thought that it might be appropriate to republish my cartoon about the current champion’s visit at the White House 3 months ago.

It had been so and so when the tag team of the decade gave us their winning one-two combo. When I first saw the initial mixture of air andwater I thought it was just the usual tropical depression that we  are so familiar with. When it hit landfall I realized it was more than Amihan and Habagat combined.
And then we were literally drowning with fear.
For hours the heavens fell in buckets and gallons as well as liters. I felt the earth fill itself as if all the waters …
