iyak, singhot talaga ako dito. lee, silver, dalhan ninyo ako ng kumot. inubos ni reyna yong aking tissue. singhot, singhot.
Wag mo akong singhotin ms. cat. Eto na ang uratex foam.
Ginagamit ko ang kumot. *singhot*
Nanindig ang balahibo ko at medyo naluha. *singhot*
I don’t know how many time I have listened and watch this video. I even play this song on my iPod and I just love her powerful and melodic voice. I agree with David Foster, hers is a God-given talent that when she sings, she sings it by heart and touches somebody.
Note to God I believe was a perfect song as her first single in the US.
Talent daw is the desire to practice sabi ni Malcolm Gladwell.
black is politically correct. it refers to the race just like brown race.
what is not politically correct is white people.
it should be caucasian.
negro is not yet considered a racial slur but nigger is. In the 20th century, it got double meaning, that of ethicity and derogatory regerence to black people.
tama ako. ako din i dont call them white. saka yung negro parang sa pinas lang ata nadidinig if not mistaken..

Sheyt! Ang galing talaga! Tinatayo nya talaga bandera ng Pinoy! Kudos!
amazing. go charice!
those were golden whispers
and yours are golden whiskers, hahaha!
dencios,
we got different tastes for music. that’s a fact. walang problema diyan.
and yes, i am also proud because she is a Filipina.
the first to have that chance was nora aunor who was discovered by eartha kitt. she would like to bring her to the US but eartha kitt herself was banished from the US because of her anti-admin remark. Yep, ganiyan dito pag masyadong vocal ang mga artists against the admin.
the second one was Josephine Banig who like the little Fil-am boy who beat David A in a TV talent show was groomed by some talent managers to do some records. i think there were disagreements between her parents and the managers.
I’m glad to read this historical piece on Nora A.
Charice is so lucky she has O who backs her up…
mam cat i remember when i was very young diko na talaga type o pangarap kumanta, pero sa totoo lang sa maniwala kat sa hindi walang kwenta kahit pa my talent ka pero wala kang padrino.
i was young then napasama lang sa barkada nag audition kami sa broadway centeum sa bagong kampeon,di naman lahat ng tao sanay mag akompanya sa gitara at strums pa man din kaya bungad palang na tengkyu nako means wala na tapos na pero kung my manager ka at padrino dadalhin ka sa gilid at papraktisin ka ng gitara, kaya nawalan ako lalo ng ganang kumanta pero after sometimes i planned to apply sa japan para mag singer ang happen na si jackie magno at spanky regor ang auditoner at pinuri nila ko ng pinuri, yun nga lang hanggang puri lang hahahaha and i got my blue card, di nga alng ako pinayagan ng mader.
so di sapat ang talent o boses, kelangan mo padrino.
same here @dencios, kaya nga kahit kelan diko nagustuhan si regine at kung sinu sinu pang tili ng tili dyan, music supposed to be 1 way of relaxing pero pano kang marerelax kung panay tili madidig mo
a oo Lee. kasi imbes na marelaks e yung iba gigisingin ka lols
I’m not trying to scare Ms. Cat from viewing this article from my own archive. But perhaps it’s still very much appropiate to this latest barrio news-topic. Meow!

jim,
kung baga may depth and you like to be different from other bloggers, thus your style. pero maraming hindi makakaintindi siguro ng iyong message.
like your article about charice and the cat. there is humor in it and a sound advice pero siguro, it is the way you present it. i for one also suggested something about her wardrobe after her oprah stint.
barrio siete intends to direct traffic to commenters’ websites even if they don’t promote their url.
good, intriguing and interesting comments are enough.
Siguro kung inuna mo si charice sa pic sa blog entry mo at hinuli mo yong pusa, mas nakakatawa pa siguro. but then maybe it is me who once touted my blog as a humor blog only to find out that it is only my mouse seems to be laughing.
Altering the name of the celebrity especially in the blog title will make you miss the chance to land in a search engine where a searcher will always look for the actual name or alias.
just my thoughts.
thanks for the link.

Hahahaha!
Akin ka blockquote quotation ka! This is safe dahil sabihin ko mang hey, this is what i said, pero hindi sila maniwala. I will say it again after reading the webite.
tenkyu pordee adbays, ayl kipdem inmayn!
Cool DUDE!
Viva La Solidaridad!
Hey, I don’t know what that means. It is personal. If you cannot relate then… that is not MY PROBLEM and My RESPONSIBILITY.
Thank you.
Kape na naman.
Charice is an inspiration…
She is… no question. personally, my pride is up and running… come on! who is not touched?
Imagine sabi pa ni Oprah, a year ago around May or June 2008 umuusok na sa amerika si Charice. Where was I?
December 2008, I finally met Charice via you-tube. and of course. WOW!
Then couple of weeks ago, sa isang blog, may isang commentator na nagtanong kung ung rumor na aasawahin na daw ni David si Charice. hahaha!
anak ng tinapa!
Then a week ago, sa side bar ng barrio siete may nakita rin akong naka embed na Charice youtube… i did not watch it because andoon pa ung susan boyle’s flu and american idol flu.
When everything was back to normal (flu gone away), i was ready to be inspired. NOTE TO GOD!
cool!
WOW!
.
i know jaya is the daughter of elizabeth ramsey and before she went home she was singing with a group. she must be promoted not as filipino but as a black singer.
promoted not as filipino but as a black singer
**balck singer pala. mas proud pala ako ke charice kasi promoted as pinay hano mam? ayus!
*Politically correctness: African-American.
Or Nognog word can be construed as bigotry?
Charice. wow! AWESOME!
dencios,
politically correct pa rin ang black. Nigger is not. The first refers to race while the second which is derived from Negro earned double meaning which is derogatory so it is considere racial slur.
African-American refers to black people in America who believe that their continent of origin is Africa.
Korek. personally, my New York frame of mind preferred African-American rather than black because mostly believe
“that their continent of origin is Africa.”
Additional info: if you happened to visit New York, please do not use the b word in front of the kids because they will totally and definitely call you “racist”. That is how they were taught in my district. not black but African-American.
Thank you for info dencios because in SF we use the word black even for celebrations like black history of the month …in newspapers like first black president..
“N” word is… hahaha. unforgiven yan. taboo.I agree. without a doubt. same here.
It was also clear sa guideline, nararapat na tawagin silang A-A rather than the B word.
@TheCat, salamat sa pag-share.
