EDSA to Cory Avenue?! Cory wa san des?

Sen. Manuel “Mar” Roxas II Friday proposed to change the name of historic EDSA (Epifanio delos Santos Avenue) to “Cory Aquino Avenue” in honor of the memory of the People Power heroine. Source
Huh?! Baliw Cute ba ang mga taong nag-propose nito?! Does he knows that he’s trying to re-write history in a truly balikwa way? EDSA is a historic name chorvalais. Yong mga kalechehang eklavu ever happened there and there is certainly no reason for anyone to change EDSA kahit na adoration ko pa si Tita Cory.

But give me a break?! Avenida Edsa con todo jugar de eresado la tabla por una nueva letra y Cory Aquino?! Leche! Mahal naten si Cory and am sure, she’ll be pissed na buburahin ang EDSA sa history nang mga leche dyan who are just plain attention seekers. Pwede vah?!
Why don’t we honor Cory by starting to make bitay all the kurakot who stole monies from us Pinoys?! Instead of renaming EDSA to Cory?

Epifanio De los Santos is a historian and academician. He is also the former director ng National Museum at malaki ang naging contribution nya sa pagpreserve ng historical items natin like yung paghahanap sa mga art collections nina Juan Luna etc.

Changing the name of EDSA is another blatant insult to the memory of EDSA Revolution and to Mr. Epifanio De los Santos himself na may contributions din para sa bansa natin just like Tita Cory.
And I believe Tita Cory her self will oppose Mar Roxas’ stupid proposal.

There are a lot of things that he could do to honour Tita Cory, we should consider that EDSA ay masyadong makasaysayan para sa ating bansa,..yah! naging tanyag ang ang EDSA dahil sa mga revolutions na nangyari espcly Edsa 1 that leads ousting of the dictator Macoy. but for me EDSA will remain as EDSA..
