Either Wowowee be shut down or Willie Revillame quit the show

Sadly, I am one with our opponents sa kabilang barrio lamenting the moronization of Filipinos on Wowowee. That’s right. Willie Revillame’s show. According to our comrades sa kabilang barrio:
“One of the shows that contributes to the moronization of The Filipinos is Wowowee. It is a game show wherein poor contestants play silly games or make themselves look ridiculous in order to win cash prizes. The more pathetic your situation is, the more money the host Willie Revillame will give you. For example, there was one contestant who was interviewed by Willie for a certain game and when asked what her job was she said she was a street sweeper. When asked what her husband was, she said he is unemployed. When asked how many children she had, she said she had 17. Then she started crying about how she cannot support her children, how she has to take on extra jobs, how her children could not eat full meals and then followed these through with a litany of other miseries that were a result of her stupidity and irresponsibility. After she announced to the public how pathetic her situation was, Willie Revillame gave her a big sum of money.”

You see, I’m in the United States and from this far, I saw some of the footages on TV, especially when Willie would tell his viewers to go to certain places, only to find out that this was a Manny Villar sortie?! And to truly give it a Wowowee effect, ASF dancers has to be there. Cute!

Yeah… Sex sells and believe you me, with ASF dancers clad in clothing I would not like to see (ugh! puke!), I’m sure dudumugin ang sortie na yan.
Why not just play some porno movies in that sortie instead para deretsahan na?

But I feel that Willie Revillame is unabashedly using his show for Villar and I agree with our opponents that indeed Wowowee is such a disgrace to our society that it deserve to be shut down. If not, because the station is raking in some bloody money, who cares about advancing our culture when the stations obvious standards are $$$, shouldn’t Willie Revillame quit the game show similar to what Kris has done?!

May dalawa akong posts tungkol sa Wowowee: Wow! Wow! We Are A Sad Nation!, kung saan sinabi ko na napakakawawa naman natin at sikat na sikat ang Wowowee; at How To Ensure Our Politicians Will Be Corrupt, kung saan sinabi ko na sisiguraduhing magiging corrupt ang mga politiko dahil sinabi na ni Willie na siya mismo ang manghihingi ng pera mula sa mga ito.
Siguro, sobra na talaga ang kahirapan kaya maraming tao ang gustong-gusto ang Wowowee. Pero, meron din namang mga may kaya na hilig manood ng programang ito.

I don’t watch Wowowee but it would not surprise me to know that Willie will do that. Wala namang delikadesa yung tao, dati na. Iniwan nga nya sa ere ang mga kasamahan nyang sila Randy nang magkagulo noon para sya na lang ang kikita eh. Tapos binago nya style nya para kunwari hindi bastos. But we all know the ABS management knows what its doing to the Filipino people. Pera-pera lang yan. Magtataka pa ba kayo kung bakit yun lang nasa isip nila at hindi ang morality and upliftment ng mga Pinoy? Syempre kung ano puno, yun ang bunga. ABS puno, Willie bunga.
