Francis Escudero endorses Jojo Binay, describes Mar Roxas as “Kulang sa kalyo”
17 days to election day, to some this election is over. Bilangan na lang. In fact, I could smell some 2016 posturing already. I’m sure, right after this election, there will be some new re-alignment of political forces.
So, in a stinging rebuke to Vice-Presidential candidate Mar Roxas, Francis Escudero threw his support to Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay. He said:
“Who is my vice president? Not someone rich, not an ilustrado, one who is courageous, a man of honor and a genuine member of the opposition.”
Asked what he thought of Roxas, Escudero answered, “Kulang sa kalyo,” which implies wealthy life.

I am sure that Francis Escudero will be eyeing for that position, and so is Mar Roxas. Will Escudero’s non-endorsement of Mar Roxas create cracks within the LP? We’ll see. On the other hand, this is just way too early for the 2016 Philippine Presidential Elections, don’t you think?

At saka si Chiz, pahinog muna siya sa Senado. Dont aspire to go to the peak too fast.

Sa unang arangkada, susuportahan ko si Francis Escudero dahil marami naman akong gusto sa kanya. Pero, meron pa akong mga tanong na nag-hihintay nang kasagutan. Besides, meron bang naniniwala na mahirap si Binay? Dati siguro oo pero after lording it over Makati for more than 2 decades? Kahit si Teddy Boy Locsin hindi makapaniwala sa yaman ni Rambotito!

Francis Escudero is asprinig too high too soon. Eh wala ka pa namang nagagawa kundi mag comment ng mag comment, pero what have you done? meron, pero not that much to prove your worth. eh dapat nga hindi ka pa nag senator kasi you haven’t yet delivered what you’ve promised to us. inanitan ka!
As for your endorsement to Binay, aysus, pabida ka na naman. naiiba, so mapag uusapan. as usual, Bida to the highest level na naman. What do i expect from an artista, regal baby diba? whatever, pagul talaga!

it’s on the Inquirer not on youtube. politics, you know. the way i see it is that, let’s say manalo si Binay as VP, he’d also be aspiring to be President and between him and Escudero, Chiz knows that he has a much bigger chance ki Binay.
ang kalaban ni Chiz for 2016 at this point (though i feel that Bongbong will be aspiring for that position too) is Mar and i really believe he made a blunder with this early politicking. i hope he recovers dahil at this stage, it will not help him if he starts alienating possible supporters

it sure is a long preparation for chiz come 2016. hard choice he had made must be – currently, not exactly going against roxas (as he said he isn’t) who is marginally leading the survey and siding on binay who is on the far end, based on survey or not. but then again (similar to other current candidates), i agree, he is giving the Filipinos the wrong impression…harmful Chiz, harmful….=)
2016, it would be bet. him and roxas i supposed (with binay losing this election). bongbong is out of it, sorry. gordon reinventing himself that time but people find it not genuine and salable. oh, my gordon…=)
It was more of a gentlemen’s agreement between binay and escudero that was why the support. i don’t discount the fact either that binay and escudero are close friends and allies.
i’m seeing escudero on 2022. what u think?=)
