One Sunday afternoon.

I was laughing at Silver.

She sent me a link.

From the Huffington Post.

I clicked and it said: The Google Brain Drain Goes On

Wow! I am so out of tuned in the business world, Google is changing and I didn’t even noticed it! These are the kind of stories MBA schools are digesting. From one top-notch best employer that all newly minted MBA’s and college grad would want to start a career.

Are they no longer the Google that they used to be? Well, according to The Huffington Post, not anymore.

They said:

It’s always shocking to hear that a company so successful and so famously pleasant to work for has lost top-tier employees like the following 17 that quit over the past few years:

* Kai-Fu Lee, President of Google Inc.’s China operations
* Michael Rubenstein, General Manager of Google Ad Exchange
* Dick Costolo, CEO of Google-acquired FeedBurner
* Mark Lucovsky, Engineering director
* Alexander Macgillivray, Deputy general counsel
* Jeff Levick, Vice president of sales
* Erin Clift, Director of agency relations
* Greg Badros, Senior Director of Engineering
* David Rosenblatt, President of display advertising
* Tim Armstrong, VP of ad sales
* Larry Brilliant, Director of Google.org
* Suhkinder Singh Cassidy, President for Asia-Pacific & Latin America operations
* Steve Horowitz, Engineering Director, Android
* Elliot Schrage, VP, global communications and public affairs
* Sheryl Sandberg, Vice president, Global Online Sales and Operations
* Gonzalo Alonso, Latin America director
* Doug Merrill, Chief information officer, VP of engineering

Do you know of any other Google employee so not deserving to be there? I do! Hahaha..

Mind you, di lang brain drain ang nangyayare. Battle of the Brainless na ba ang nangyayare sa Google?? :D

Grabe rin kasi ang politics sa corporate world Silver. It’s a jungle out there.

I’ve been working for 8 years now and I’ve seen the best and the worst people in a multinational firm. May mga power tripper, silent bitches, may mga *sskisser at may mga mababait/ma-prinsipyong employees na nakikipaglaban sa welfare ng mga kapwa employees sa management. Sad to say, yung mga huli ang pinupulitika dahil they are considered too idealistic. Sa kahulihan, sila yung nagre-resign for good.

Hmmm, sa last question mo Silver…hahahaha…panalo ka talaga! ;)

Violent reactions are welcome. Kiver kahit anong sabihin mo. But try to stay on topic and avoid personal attacks. Only privileged Barrio people & readers are allowed to swear.
