On financial mentors: Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen & former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra

You familiar with that guy? That’s the former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. Buti pa sya. He was hired by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen as his financial mentor. O! Laban kayo?

Result? Nag-solian sila nang mga kandila. Ni-recall nang Thailand ang ambassador nila. Ni-recall naman nang Cambodia ang ambassador nila. Who knows baka ang susunod nito eh tagu-pung ang mga Cambodians at Thais.

Hudawhu?

Well, sabi ko nga, social climbing works. When Thaksin was kicked out of Thailand in 2006, he was sentenced in absentia to two years’ imprisonment for a conflict of interest conviction. Eh me mga kebigan tong si Thaksin in high places. One of them eh eto ngang si Hun Sen, the Cambodian Prime Minister.

So, when Thaksin was hired by Hun Sen, umusok ang nguso nang Thai government.

Ok. Stop. Hanggang dun lang ang update ko. Kiver kung that was politically motivated, interference of Thai’s affairs or kung ano pa man sya. Iba ang iniisip ko while reading the news.

Eto.

Quezon Rep. Danilo Suarez Thursday suggested that Ms Arroyo run for vice president in May 2010, so that she could continue to push for the fiscal reforms and crucial legislation that have eluded her during her current term.

Im fak, an sabi nya:

“It would be best if you could convince her to run for vice president,” Suarez said at the Serye forum. “You have a vice president with the experience and caliber of GMA, you will be an asset to whoever will be the president.”(Source: Inquirer)

Great idea!

Ah, Ok. Oo nga naman. At pag natigok ang President, sya na naman uli.

Meanwhile…

Cambodia is waiting for her.

And the Philippines won’t mind at all.

Grabe ang intel mo;-), that’s really something – Thaksin as Financial adviser to the Cambodian PM. I read a book by a former Navy Seal stationed in Cambodia before as a military attache – sabi nya Cambodians are lovers, not fighters;-); maybe dahil dating French colony – with exotic women and opium. That was in the old days of course.

Hahaha! I like that. VP and then President – again! Like in sports, come from behind.

Well, mukhang may nakita ang Cambodia kay Thaksin na ayaw ng mga Thais but might just work in Cambodia. Who knows, malalaman din natin yan in the coming days kung mabuti ba itong move na ginawa ng Cambodia to hire Thaksin.
Meanwhile, Gloria in Cambodia is okay for me too. Ipakain siya sa mga buwayang tulad niya or patapak-tapakan sa mga elepanteng kapamilya ng asawa niya. Hahaha!
