I’m disappointed with Dona Victorina and I approve this message: Action speak louder than boys!
So, I woke up this morning and saw a comment waiting to be approved on my reyna elena dot com site, to my blog entry that’s not even political. It was an emo entry… you know… “kung liligaya ka! sa piling nang iba!” that type. The comment was from the founder of Dona Victorina, founder of utak pugita na kapatid pala nang impaktong utak tilapia, with a shout out that goes:
“WE WOULD LIKE TO ASSURE YOU DEAR SIR THAT VICTORINA DOES NOT ENDORSE ANY PRESIDENTIABLE…”
HUH?! SO?!
Having some problems on getting back lost credibility?! Kaya naman they earned Barrio Siete’s GOING TRASHY LEVEL BLOGGING AWARD.
Pero, teka nga muna!!! ~stop da musik, tigil ang santacruzan!~ What the hell is going on? Have they come to their senses that Dona Victorina’s personal attacks to Noynoy Aquino, especially the autism shit is not really very fruitful??! Yes, kahit balimbing, hindi mamumunga ang mga epports nila noh!
Have they realized that despite Gibo’s excellent credentials, well-spoken and good debater, Gibo’s problem continues to be the baggage in the name of Gloria? Sang in reverse, it’s Gloria not Gibo. I liked Dona Victorina when it started. Fiery, balanced and of course sosy sila, barriotic kami. I was a big fan. Im fak, I left a couple of itchy comments on a number of entries that I enjoyed. But something happened to them along the way. Was it growing pains? Or pains growin’ up?! Ok, honestly, I had no clue what it was – for I was busy defending myself from tilapia brained assholes who invaded the Barrio. Akala ko , dalag lang ang invasive species, yun pala, pati pala tilapia din! Leche!
But thanks to B7 readers who updated me with all the drama that happened there. Yet, lo and behold! Dona Victorina even aligned themselves with the tilapia-brained anti-Noynoy assholes who even went thrashy for castigating me personally, plastering my altered 36-24-36 figure on the internet wherever they could post it when I have not even decided to run as the 1st woman president of the Philippines, yet! Akala ko ang pusit lang ang nilalagay sa lata ng Saba… opppsss…
All I know is that Dona Victorina is a rabid anti-Noynoy and has become anti-Filipino with their tilapia minded accomplices. Ayan, buko na tuloy na pro-GMA ang blog na to. Anyway, what do I care? It simply means that they’re not endorsing Noynoy. Soah?!

Actually there are two major things that Amiel needs to respond:
1. The emailed comment under Amiel’s name? Why is he disclaiming that the Victorina blog does not endorse any presidential candidate? It was not asked from him at all and it was totally irrelevant from the topic he replied to. Actually, nobody minds who they are trying to promote. It appears to be a defensive move on his part, without being him being attacked. Can he clarify this?
2. When Amiel published a new blog site by the name of Utak Pugita, what was the reason behind this? Was he amused because the current vice mayor of QC is heavily picked on. Which happens to be Mike Defensor’s political rival and a close buddy of Amiel (college mate, I pressume). Do you know that Utak Pugita are assholes who promotes baseless hate to its own society (especially to against Amiel’s BBF political rival, the QC vice mayor) and these are the same anonymous personalities picking on some famous and rising bloggers like Ellen Tordesillas, MLQ3 or Reyna unreasonably? Invalid character bashing. Is he directly/indirectly associated with these cannibals?
I know Bry you’re very well with Victorina collective – however, responding to this concern is like a test of character. What’s really going on over there? Beyond bitching, this could be looked as an inquiry for the truth from that dodgy and snooty side of the blog world.
If I were Amiel, I will look at this as an opportunity to expand his esteem.

Johnonymous… to address your query as to why Amiel posted that Victorina does not endorse any Presidentiable… you say that it was not asked of him? How would you know what prompted Amiel to write that post?
Your personal speculation may seem valid but it is divisive to say the least.
Obviously he wanted to state that DV as a blog doesn’t endorse a specific Presidentiable because some people felt otherwise… just because you didn’t read an accusation on his blog doesn’t mean that you wouldn’t be able to infer this.
While the specific writers may have their own candidates that they like or dislike running for President, we make it a point to write about the good bad and the ugly of each Presidentiable.
Try not to read too much into things

We’ve been accused of being too pro-Villar, too close to Dick Gordon… blah blah blah (but to be honest, when they guested on our show… I made it a point to grill them both kasi people want to know all issues surrounding their campaign bids… c5 insertion, reproductive health bill, etc)
We’ve even been accused of being anti-Noynoy… but i find that funny when i’ve mentioned on air so many times how i love Noynoys tvc/jingle and even want to adopt Baby James (he’s so cute)
But pls before we get out of hand… i’ve never called Noynoy mentally deficient or said anything bad about Reyna’s vital statistics and the same goes for Amiel. (pinoybuzz, pls stand up! heh heh)
Talk about pointless arguments… instead of bloggers knockin’ other bloggers, lets get back to saving our biting comments for others more deserving… i’m all up for a good scrap but we’re only hurting ourselves here don’t ya think?

Tapos biglang nagkaron ng council council na masyado naging self-righteous. I lost interest when they did that, kasama pa si Gorrell. Tapos malaman ko na diehard supporter si amiel ni mike defensor. To Chronicles, thank you for the nice info. Obviously, you have got no clue how B7 came about. We don’t blog to be popular, but if we get to become popular like your gods in DV, why not? Sometimes, it is better to be unknown and quite frankly, a lot of trolls prefer that way and we became an easy target because we’re out there.
Talking about comparing to DV – of course, I used to be a fan of DV, now they’ve been blogging way before B7 came into being and if you look at our astonishing pace of readership, that should tell you something. We’re all busy at the moment, that’s why we can no longer blog as much as we do. But let me give you something to think about in terms of us being unknown and DV being very well known per you own words…
Check this out:
You’re looking at the daily pageview per user, and if you look at the graph, DV’s pageview is pathetic. In fact, when we started, we’re worst than that graph compared to DV, they were performing pretty good. Of course, we’ve surpassed them as well as other KNOWN blogs that you probably know.
This next graph shows you the bounce rate. If you have no clue what a bounce rate is, the higher bounce rate you have, the lousy your site is. What it means is that, once users find your site, they immediately leave. They don’t stay. As you can see, compared to B7, DV has a very high bounce rate. Makes you wonder, what is it that readers find at DV that they don’t like?
This next graph tells you how long users stay on the site. If you look, DV is on a downward trend and it seemed static at most. Do I need to explain more.
You see, “KNOWN” could mean a lot of things. Yes, I agree, we are unknown and DV is known. You could be KNOWN but readers might not find anything of value in your entries no more. We could be unknown, but we’ve been constantly being picked up by not only the major dailies and TV shows in the country. From that, one could surmise that we must be writing something of value to people, is it not?
Thank you for your visit, but it bothers us not a single proton that we are unknown for metrics tells us otherwise anyway. We write because we love to write – like it or not like it.

this is sad indeed. I am one of the readers of Dona Victorina too. good read naman sya nung una– i think hangang ngayon din ay good read pa rin. but i’m just referring to it’s way of writing; fiesty, may class nga, ok naman ang format.
but i’m not really into the ideals they promote. i half nothing against them since i’m just keeping an open mind. aferall, that’s how we filipinos should be. hear each side so we can decide without any sort of bias or would make wrong decisions.
