JC de los Reyes withdraws concession to Aquino
Wala lang. Share. Kaloka ang news na to. But I’m interested to find out what THEY found out.
Here’s the news:
“In as much as I need to honor my word as I conceded the elections for goodwill, we have factual data on hand which unfolded after my having conceded (which we will soon after release) that indicates conclusive irregularities in the numbers,” De los Reyes said.
“If I do not speak against these new findings, then my party’s integrity, as well as my own, will be at risk. Therefore, I withdraw my previous statement of conceding the elections,” he said in a statement issued by the Ang Kapatiran Party headquarters in Pasig City.
The Olongapo City councilor earlier confirmed meeting with fellow candidates Nicanor Perlas and Senator Maria Ana Consuelo “Jamby” Madrigal an said “we are putting a formal paper together which shall explain this in detail at the soonest possible time.”

I’m puzzled by JC. Hayz, sige Mr. De Los Reyes – I’m gonna wait for your findings…
bitter ocampo much?
i hear there are some areas where votes for Noynoy are overwhelming. na according to some is likely but they say is improbable. let’s wait and see where they get them.
not sure kung these are all tactics trying to sow doubts sa landslide ni Noynoy. but, i’d give it the benefit of the DAW and see what they have, for i do believe that those surveys, because they’re pretty much consistent anyway – even if they were coming from different survey companies, won’t change Noynoy’s number 1 standing.
i’m really curious about the senators. so if they found something for Noynoy, it’s worth a look
~bzing!!! (eh sa gusto ko si dodong eh!)
take note of the names, JC, Madrigal and Perlas – lahat sila natalo ni Acosta.
Right niya yan. Hahaha
Marami talang bitter ocampo ngayon. Hindi makapag-move on.
ok cge go kayo…Laban laban laban
No matter what angle you look at it the Filipinos do not think highly of these bunch of people and the votes they garnered would be considered outliers and they have no hope of being voted as presidents. There is a river in Egypt called denial. They should just fold and fade away. They do not have the grace to accept defeat. Just when I am beginning to relax and this things start up again. If there were anomalies, this would not change the fact that Noynoy won by landslide. L A N D S L I D E as mga slow readers diyan.
Sabagay kahit ba 400 000 yung nakuha ni Dodong Acosta that does not erase the fact that Noy Noy Aquino won by landslide nakakainis nga si Erap kanina sa balita sabi pinaiimbistigahan yung compact flash cards kasi daw imposibleng manalo si Noy noy ng limang milyon nakakainis na Erap yan may tangka pang manggulo di lang nya matangap na talo sya
JC de los Reyes, Perlas and Madrigal have all the right to complain. Noynoy is my man and I am very glad he won. But what happened to the other 3 candidates who were beaten by Acosta is something to worry about. They know they have lost. They know they are kulelat. Come on, let’s dig deeper sa issue…
An electronic cheating could have happened. A few hours after the election, data were being sent to Comelec, fast. We didn’t know where all these came from, did we? Smartmatic Tim has how many declared back up PCOS? say, 6,000. Is it really just 6,000? Connecting the dots, how many ballots can a PCOS read in a minute on a continuous feed? – not located on poll precints???!
Either the encrypted date had been hacked or someone or some group have other access to having PCOS machines and access to sending to Comelec and making valid data from poll precints to bounce. Technology….
What about those PCOS machines found in a house of Smartmatic’s technician in Antipolo?
And isa pa, why consider Acosta as a non-nuisance at the start by the Comelec, then later declaring the latter as nuisance but not removing on the ballot? “Oh, late na, and ballots had been printed already” – i can never buy this refute. There was clear intent here to deceive the electorate. I know you know this guys pero we seem to forget. Comelec is just always a phone call away from the palace. Isn’t Melo retiring just yet?
The bigger picture here isn’t about De Los reyes’ non-concession to Aquino, as well as madrigal’s and Perlas’. wag tayo mainis or magalit sa kanila. There were flaws and they saw them. Why not help them find the irregularities to prevent from happening in the future automated election.
“But why did they let Aquino won” – if they cheated? – you may come to that. Could be masyadong landslide kaya di kinaya ng powers or maybe somebody, nagising, and disobeyed direct orders from sm1.
Hard to sell that over 140,000 Filipinos made mistakes by shading Acosta’s bilog while they want to shade Aquino’s.
Just because our candidate won,or just because our candidate is not on the far end and ahead of Acosta, it doesn’t mean we will stop from being vigilant — for the country. Let’s not dismiss the idea that were some manipulations here from start to the end, though not completely successful in rigging the results to favor whoever, but it was to the small ones, and it was in mocking our intelligence…
Vigilance should be exercised but explanations should be sought before withdrawing concession to Aquino since this person has minimal votes is my point. I am not against checking discrepancies but to say the fact that this guy did not even get 10 percent of Noynoy’s vote is already suggesting that they could not even have a chance. Now the Comelec has an explanation that only very few machines exhibited these anomaly and it has to do with printing results from testing and sealing whereas the correct numbers of votes were the ones that were transmitted. Comelec now advises everyone to remain cool and that they are trying to be transparent as much as they can. Just accept that you lost, crybabies and attention seekers.
@Rosa Mia.
We share much the same on celebrating that Aquino, our candidate, won.
But we don’t on the issues surrounding JC’s non-concession (as well as on Madrigal’s and Perlas’).
JC said:
“… I withdraw my previous statement of conceding the elections,” .”
When he said this, he accepted defeat not from Noynoy alone but defeat from all the others – but definitely not, never, except, from a nuisance candidate. If this doesn’t mean anything to you, then I believe you are drowning in or being so blinded by your victory you fail to see the big picture and the real issue behind.

After all this time you still believe everything the Comelec says. I am beginning to think you’re employed with Comelec.=)
After the garci scandal, then with nuisance candidate issue, validating the party list represented by the Arroyos, Palparan and the likes, with Arroyo running as Congresswoman in her town (then winning, Oh God save us sa mga susunod na mangyayari) – I can never trust the Comelec anymore. Ikaw na lang yata nagtitiwala sa sinasabi nila based on sa mga sinabi mo.

Come on, Noynoy won. Let’s celebrate. And I voted Noynoy, two of the reasons are intergrity and humility – I don’t see these in your words. Noynoy won’t speak like you to his fellowmen. And he doesn’t look at this issue the way you do, I guarantee that.
Gio, for all the faults of the Comelec, they actually delivered an almost successful election in the Philippines for its first ever automated election. Now you are maligning the Comelec. You are now saying that nobody trust the Comelec. I think it is even more dangerous to have you around since you remind of someone who just throws blind accusation without proof. Is your other name Miriam? Hahaha. Now you are speaking for Noynoy. I think somebody is deluded here at Barrio Siete same as those guys who can not accept the reality that they LOST. Lost as in talunan.
Comelec to politicians: Keep your cool amid vote discrepancies
ANDREO C. CALONZO, GMANews.TV
| More Share .With allegations of poll result discrepancies heating up three days after the country’s first nationwide automated elections, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) advised politicians on Thursday to keep their cool.
Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez assured politicians in a press briefing on Thursday that discrepancies in election results are largely caused by human errors and not by automated counting machines.
“We’re calling on all the political players to maintain their cool. As you can see, the situation is well in hand. It’s largely due to human error, and it has nothing to do with the system,” he said.
Jimenez also expressed disappointment with some politicians who claim poll irregularities just to “prolong the possibility of winning.”
“Ang nakakalungkot dito, ginagamit na paraan para humaba ‘yung usapan (What’s sad is, it’s being used to pursue more talk). In some instances, to prolong the possibility of their winning. We don’t want that to happen,” he said.
Jimenez likewise said that the Comelec has long expected a flood of election protests, especially concerning the new automated system.
He also encouraged politicians to come directly to the poll body to discuss issues on the automated election system.
“We will be open to explaining it individually to affected individuals. If they wish, they can come to us so that we can explain it personally and to give them a view on how this problem will be solved,” he said.
The camp of former President Joseph Estrada earlier vowed to disclose evidence of alleged discrepancies in the results of the 2010 presidential race, once Congress convenes as the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC) to canvass the votes for president and vice president. Other presidential aspirants such as Ang Kapatiran Party’s JC delos Reyes, Senator Jamby Madrigal and Bro. Eddie Villanueva have also noted alleged irregularities in the results of the May 10 polls. (See: Bro. Eddie party says May 10 polls ‘a sham’)—JV, GMANews.TV
