Barrio Siete congratulates Jovit Baldovino! He is the first grand winner of Pilipinas Got Talent. Watch out. He will be hitting the international stage pretty soon! I’m sure the world is taking notice. If Journey has Arnel Pineda, I hope he gets invited by Bon Jovi hahaha!

We have the same predictions! He is a great talent!
Jovit is a real dumpling; pang international.
God is so good to you.
So the kid sounds like Steve Perry/Arnel PIneda, but really, is he the best the show can come up with? Sorry, i thought there were better singers who had the total package compared with Jovit.
Mark-
Define “total package”. Saka ever heard of “thank you, doktor” beauties?
Konting praktis pa nyan saka pag nagkaroon ng singing coach yan, he can go places. He is a raw talent; walang formal coaching whatsoever. Pero he has the pipes, we have to give him that.
More power to you, Jovit. Congratulations!
there’s always room for improvement
I’m just saying there were other contestants that had more talent. That’s just my opinion.
I was rooting for FAME but sayang, hindi siya pumasa kay Kris despite getting the second highest vote for her batch and this is the only time that I disagree entirely with Kris on her Assessment on FAME’s choice of song – tama si FMG sa pagpili kay Fame.

I know Lara Fabian. No question, she is really good. But I think the Philippine audience is not ready for her. In fact ni hindi sya na-appreciate ni AiAi who said “habang kumakanta ka, umaarte ka” which to her is arte, not sure, iba ang dating saken nung comment.
Anyway, the judges and the audience will not appreciate her no matter how good she is. For one, she’s singing in a foreign language, mahirap mag-konek sa audience nun, mahirap kiligin ang audience with what she is singing so they have to rely on her voice and her emotions. Second, mas lalong di sya naintindihan nung mga judges who are probably not used to listening to her brand of music. Hindi naman music industry si Aiai and Kris right? And I have no clue kung sino tong lalaking judge hahaha!
Anyway, magaling talaga to! Pang theatrics! Kelangan nito, mag-audition sa London o kaya New York.
Agree.. maganda yung bata at maganda talaga yung boses. Si Jovit may pagka madrama ang buhay madaling ibenta ang life story nya and as a result mas madaling i promote and mga concert at ng musika nya if ever.
yeah that (drama) too. in fact, yan din ang hinahanap nang American Idol, the drama factor. kaya si Charice patok sa Americans dahil dito (as it is in Pinas too) they’re always looking for a role model pero number 1 pa rin ang marketability. i wish magkaron nang break ang girl na to. ibang level ang talent nya, swak sa international stage.
I am waiting for her version of Ave Maria and La Califfa or Solo Con Te. She will fill the theatre or opera houses if she gets discovered. I watched Sarah Brightman and FAME has a richer voice. I can see her in Miss Saigon or La Boheme because she also has the looks. I am a big fan.
So true. Pang Tony Awards mag perform ano? If this child is managed well, I am seeing the next Lea Salonga.

I always sing in my house but to audience since I feel sorry for the listener. Kailangan talaga may talent. Here in Calgary, we support a lot of young Filipinos who are just starting their music careers and I can tell you there are some serious talents here who can sing and play musical instruments and all they need is exposure. If you watch hockey and the Calgary Flames are involved, that is a Filipina who is always singing the national anthems and has been a winner in a singing contest here. Kayla Iovan and Callao are upcoming musical artists here. Kayla has played with David Foster and is now under his care I think.
magaling si jovit..kya lang pra akong nabibitin sa knya..esp when he tries to hit those highs prang anytime he can go flat or pumiyok…
for me he is not the best to come out in this competition..the young lady who can play as many instruments impressed me much…P.S. IMHO
