Kapatiran Party asks Comelec to give them free exposure in print and broadcast media
I remember several candidates were initially rejected by Comelec because they do not have enough funds to cover the entrance fee to run a campaign. Remember that?
And then I read that now, Kapatiran is asking Comelec for free exposure?! What?! Am I missing something here? Can somebody please explain this thing to me in Russian?!
An sabi:
“Kapatiran Party knocked on Supreme Court’s door to compel the Comelec to give the party free exposure in print and broadcast media. Yes, it’s mandated by law. Resolution 8758 under Fair Election Practices Act where in part in says “give candidates equal opportunities under equal circumstances to make known their qualifications and stand on public issues and promote the holding of free, orderly, honest, peaceful and credible elections through fair election practices.”
Ok. So there is this law that requires blah blah blah. Then why the entrance fee drama to Nick Perlas, Danton Remoto and Danny Lim from Comelec that happened last month? Simple, right? If Kapatiran can’t afford to fund their campaign, how were they able to get Comelec’s nod?!
Hayst! Naguluhan ako dun ah!

Nothing is free…
They are free to practice but hiring PR team is not free… hahaha!
I think trapo din iyang isang pang representative ng Ang-Ka hehehehe… Chipeco = sa bandang Laguna, hehehehe…
O baka naman umaatungal lang sila kasi they cannot execute their campaign effectively, so ibayong saklolo na lang ang kanilang hinihingi sa Comelec.
Uso balimbingan ngayon, dapat umaksyon na at pumartido sa may malakas na makinarya. hahaha…
Parang business, pwede kang magbenta ng mga bagay na sakop ng batas… but how do you market yourself… hahaha.
Pag hindi kaya ang laban… Magsumbong sa kuya (COMELEC)… hahaha.
that’s right – there is no such thing as free lunch. nagulo talaga ako! there’s a law pala to that effect, inconsistent dun sa unang disqualification nung ibang candidates – ang gulo talaga nang Comelec!
Actually, medyo kakaiba yung hinihingi ng AK. Ang nire-require lang ng batas ay equal opportunity. Equal naman to any one who can pay ang t.v. ads at billboard space.
Pero yung pagbatikos kina Nick Perlas, Danton Remoto at Danny Lim, kakaiba din. Kasi hindi naman requirement and capacity to wage a campaign sa election law. Ang requirements lang ay age, citizenship at residency.
Ay! Karamba! Hahaha!
The COMELEC shall do it subject to availability of funds, HAHAHAHA! Ganyan di ba sa gobyerno, okay gagawin natin ito tapos may clause na “subject to availability of funds”, heheheheee. Good luck sa Kapatiran, 24 days and 12 hours na lang, election na, yeehaaaa!
Ano ba yan.
Naglaunch ng candidacy tapos namomoblema kung paano magcampaign? Free exposure? Are they even aware that when it comes to political campaigns, its all about money?
