Kris Aquino is not stupid
I assume alam niyo na ang chika ngayon na sinugod raw ni Kris Aquino ang rumoured girlfriend ng husband niyang si James Yap. Kung hindi pa, pwes ngayon alam niyo na.
According to the Inquirer,
Show biz celebrity Kris Aquino confronted a female fan of her husband, basketball star James Yap, shouting insults at the woman and her mother just outside their upscale Pasig City residence late Wednesday, the Inquirer learned Thursday. The popular TV host and movie actress spent about 10 minutes at the gate of the Valle Verde 2 home of Mayen Austria, 35.
Aquino showed up at the gate of the Austria residence at around 4 p.m. Wednesday, when the family was hosting visitors in their living room, according to another source who declined to be named.
“Mayen went out and saw Aquino, who immediately threw invectives at her,” the source said.
Mayen’s mother heard the commotion from inside the house and went out to see her daughter already in tears.
“(Aquino) also shouted at her (Minna): Anong klaseng nanay ka? Anong klase ang palaki mo sa anak mo? (What kind of mother are you? What kind of upbringing did you give your child?)” the source said.
Mother and daughter did not answer back, until Aquino left, the source said.
But according to Kris’ friend Boy Abunda:
Aquino first spoke with Austria’s mom about what has been going on in her relationship with Yap.
“She said they almost split up in December and that they were separated for weeks. Kris also told [Austria’s mom] that she is fighting hard for their marriage. She said she really wanted their marriage to work. In the middle of their conversation, (Mayen) arrived and said there was nothing going on between her and James and that they’re just friends,” Abunda said.
Abunda insisted that Aquino “spoke in a very low voice” during her conversation with the Austrias.
He also said Mayen was not Yap’s girlfriend but a fan of his professional basketball team, Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants.
“In all fairness to James, he did not hide from Kris that he was talking with the girl. I think he even used his phone in front of Kris,” Abunda stressed.
“I understood why Kris did it. I would’ve done the same thing. It was unfair to say that Kris quarreled with the girl. She spoke with caution and temperance. It’s just that with what’s happening between them, she thought that if there was a problem, hindi na n’ya palalakihin pa (she won’t blow out it of proportion). She would like to nip it in the bud.”

Sa totoo lang ha, very exaggerated ang headline ng Inquirer but knowing their track record of reporting in a tabloid manner ay hindi na rin kataka-taka ito. In fairness, they showed versions from the parties involved.
First of all, kung matino kang babae, hindi mo dapat nilalandi ang isang lalakeng may asawa. Mali ka dun. Sabi nga sa ingles, you are a FILTHY SLUT.
Secondly, Kris Aquino is not stupid para sumugod at magtatalak sa harapan ng isang babaeng pinagsususpetsahan niyang nilalandi ang kanyang asawa. She knows madadamay ang pangalan ng kapatid niya na kumakandidato bilang pangulo ng ating bansa.
Thirdly, the girl is clearly suffering from an illness. She admitted to having ‘chemical depression and could easily take an overdose of pills.’
Kris Aquino already aired her side of the story. In it, she said,
“In my 25 years of being in the public eye, nobody can ever say that it is in my nature na magmura or gumawa ng skandalo. I didn’t shout or create a commotion,” she said in a text message sent to ABS-CBN News.
“The mother of the woman cited in the Inquirer article graciously came to their gate and we had a peaceful conversation. I simply made my discomfort known about her daughter’s actuations towards my husband,” Kris said. (abs-cbnnews)
So ano ang moral lesson na ating natutunan?
Very simple.
HUWAG LUMANDI SA MGA MAY ASAWA NA PARA HINDI KA MAGMUMUKHANG GAGA!
But don’t you think we should blame James Yap for all these? Siya naman talaga ang ugat ng isyung ito eh. Sobrang kati siguro ng lalakeng ‘to. Dapat siguro ay putulan ng…..bisyo!

The incident involving Kris Aquino and one Mayen Austria has taken on a political color. It happened last Wednesday afternoon after Kris heard “a girl” sobbing during a celfon call to her husband, James Yap.
I got the following text message (quoted verbatim) presumably from Mayen Austria:
To everyone. Kris Aquino passed by house to make me sugod. She spoke to my mom. Very mad, berating us saying I always text and call James. That my mom didn’t bring me up right. That we shouldn’t be talking to married men. She said she’s leaving James and to know that I am the last straw and the reason for their break-up. My family has great respect for Teopacos who are our family friend. Mrs. Teopaco is Cory’s youngest sister. My mom raised us right. My mom didn’t deserve all that. James missed called and texted na he warned me pupunta siya sa house. He called to tell me to apologize and say sorry. Kris said we had something going on. I don’t deserve this. Most especially my mom. I have chemical depression and could have easily taken an overdose of pills because of the incident. With the hugs and love of my mom and sisters and tranquilizers, I’m okay. Do you want Kris to be in Malacañang.

There’s a lesson to be learned from this incident. As Funfare DPA Jumpy Kangaroo said, reminding (especially) women married or single, “Huwag po magti-text or tatawag sa lalaking may asawa.” To that, I add: “Igalang ang damdamin ni misis…at para maiwasan ang gulo.”
