Lipat-Bahay: Barrio-Style
Barrio-mates! Enough watching the stupid SONA already. Wala namang sasabihing totoo yang si PGMA. IF only I am in Manila right now…I am most probably have joined the rallies out there!
Well anyways…my news for you is that: this barrio girl is now a city-girl! Well sort of…because I nowlive in the city 5 days a week, this time in a real house!
Eto ang bagong adventure namin kahapon:
I’m typing this entry in our new home in the city. Maybe in the coming week…i will have broadband installed. I’m still using my phone to get online. At least there’s a full signal here so my connection is still okay.
We were supposedly to move after lunch today. But the tricyle I asked to bring us was only available in the morning. We got up at around 730 am only to find out that my mother already arranged that we hit the road by 9 am. So it was a whirlwind packing! I did not even take a bath the whole of Saturday because I wasn’t done relaxing yet. He he he.
Anyways… just allow me to let the following photos speak as to how this day went for us: 
Ready to go at a little past 9 this morning.
Kahit di pa gawa ang bahay na ito…this is our home.
But Raine and i gotta do what we gotta do (like moving near the school)…we have to take care of each other, wherever we may be.
Here’s my new work station (and Raine’s entertainment center!), Raine is just too happy to pose for my cellphone camera. (Medyo madilim nga lang…but you get the picture.)
Here’s our bed (sa floor muna ang mattress). This is the other half of the house where our sala/bedroom/computer room are. Pansin nyo ang color? It’s green green green! Raine’s fave color.
And this is the other half of the house where the kitchen/dining area/CR are. By the way, he is not drinking that soda bottle. Kunyari lang daw for the camera.
It isn’t much but this place is going to be our home 5 days a week on school months. At least now we are comfortable in this place. Comfortable in a way that this place has got windows and that we have our own CR.
Hayyy…the things that one does for the child’s sake. (Sana wala nang reklamo si Raine this time!) Here…Raine doesn’t have to get up at 5 am.
Wish us luck! We’ve got lots to do and buy in the coming months to furnish this house. We can stay in the place even if no new job opp comes along. We can still make it (the expenses and stuff) but with no room for luxuries and other stuff. To me that’s just fine. The most important thing is that Raine is going to a decent school.

Glo is 100% bicolana. Born in a small barrio in Sorsogon,Gloria graduated with a degree in Chemistry from UPLB, where she spent 18 years of her life, studying and later working with a 10-year rigorous experience in working in various chemical-analytical laboratories. She skipped lab work for various reasons: napagod na sya, napuno na sya at ayaw na niyang tuluyang mabaog, seriously she just wanted a 'normal' family setting for her son (whatever normal means!) and a chance to re-invent herself career-wise and personal-wise.
ang mudraness!!! dapat habang lumilipat ka, kumakanta ka nang Miss Saigon….. “you will be who you want to be…. YOU!!!” hahaha!

Ate Glo, I’m happy for Raine kasi nga hindi na siya gigising ng sobrang maaga at 5am. Minsan din tayong naging bata and hate na hate talaga natin ang gumising ng maaga at antok na antok pa. At least now kahit 7am puede na. Hihihi

nope. sala set at dining table lang ang provided ng landlady. may gas range na dumating kanina. dala ng nanay at kapatid ko.
so starting tonight makakaluto na ako ng dinner namin at di na lalabas. ang lunch naman namin ay sa school canteen na.
Ay, kakalipat lang din namin dito sa barrio dubai. Sossy na, lumipat kami sa flat! hahaha.. flat din nga lang ang bulsa namin…

dun sa mga tga barrio dubai na di makita ang pictures ni manay glo, pwede niyong gamitin yung IP address ng flickr +yung extension ng picture. di ko masyadong ma-explain eh.
I also lost my shield dito sa kabilang office so nag-experiment na lang ako para makita ang mga litrato.

ibang klase talaga mga nanay, hanggat kaya ay ginagawa nilang maging magaan ang maraming bagay para sa anak. ate glo wag mo pansinin ung pagpayat kasi normal lang un sa mga batang aktibo at tumatangkad. importante masigla parati katawan nya.
oo mtoni, tumangkad sya actually kaya payat ang tingin ko. siguro nect schoolyear eh mas matangkad na sya sa akin.
