Martial Law in Maguindanao

5 December 2009 18 Comments

1081 ampatuan

Big chika sa metropolis mga kabarrio, there will be martial law sa Maguindanao dahil di ata kaya nang gobyerness ang powers nang mga Amputa.

Kung ang pagiging hero ni Efren Penaflorida sa CNN is a testimony and proof of our dismal and failed education services sa Flippines, the declaration of martial law in Maguindanao, just the same, is a testimony and proof that Gloria’s administation has failed miserably in its governance. Por moi, she planted Amputaan for her own benefits. Now, we’re all reaping the nasty shit of this medievally minded clan, a black eye of our struggling good image na hindi na ata aalapas in its purgatorical location to the level of corruption, criminality, lawlessness and injustice. The Ampatuans rule Maguindanao, mula Lolo hanggang Apo. Ano ang pinagkaiba sa pamilyang [fill in the blanks]?

Just the other day, drama pa nga nang ARMM Gov na si Zaldy Ampatuan ang pa-cry cry, only for government authorities to find weapons and ammunition unearthed near the mansion of the Ampatuans. Question, who owns them? I can’t even believe na ARMM Governor pa! Am sure me mga basbas yan galing sa you know who. Amputa oo! How did that happen?

Don’t ask me kung ano ang laman nang State of Emergency, but what I know from the news is that it’s been ilang days na ba and masyado atang mabagal ang justice. Now, not that I am hyper critical, but the latest news seemed like the military and the police are doing a fine job this time. For once, mukhang this is going great!

Until the Court of Appeals granted the writ of amparo sa mga Amputa. Ano ang writ of amparo? It is a remedy of any person whose right to life, liberty and security is violated or threatened with violation by an unlawful act of ommission of a public official or employee. Nagrereklamo kasi ang mga Ampatuan na the police and military personnel have been “detaining” them inside their mansions in Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao.

If you read and watch the news, it seemed to me na there is big evidence kung sino talaga ang mga murderer. I don’t understand why all of these are being played out too much by and in the media. Of course, insatiability of information nang madla. Kahit ako, glued ako sa TV and the internet for the latest. But would this derail the case at maka-alpas den ang mga Ampatuan just like the news the other day na pinalaya na pala si Nur Misuari because he was not guilty of rebellion? There seemed to be a pattern of justice sa Flippines. Ikukulong for show, wait a couple of years, tagay coz your now free.

Which is what I am seeing on this Martial Law declaration in Maguindanao. Mixed feelings ako about this one. Who do they want to be silenced? The news coming out of that place? Or yong nangyari noong 2004 and 2007 elections?!

Whatever.

Personally, I just want justice for all the victims, NOW na! If martial law is needed just to swiftly arrest all the suspects and bring them to justice, why not? And honestly, I don’t want this martial law to creep outside of Maguindanao and into the metropolis. Why my concern? Me mga tao kasi dyan who uses loopholes for their own benefits. Alam mo yon?!

martial law has both positive and negative effects. kahit pano magiging mahigpit ang batas dun which is positive ONLY kung gagamitin yun sa matuwid but NOT kung aabusuhin gaya ng nangyari sa time ni marcos na wala ng litis litis, kulong agad kahit hindi nagkasala.

martial law is bad enough for media. why? you’re right, the government would have the right to manipulate whats coming out of the television, radio and news papers. that would mean na kalaunan baka makalimutan na to ng tao kasi maaari nilang ipagbawal ang pagpapalabas ng mga updates tungkol sa mga nanyayari dito hanggan sa isang araw mabalitaan nalang natin na sarado na ala ang kaso.

Tama ung imahen mo Reynz. Musmus pa man ako noonng full implementation ng Martial Law pero parang ung drama ng 70′s Dejavu all over again.

VS Ampatuan…some generals are worried to be exposed….so is GMA for the 2004 and 2007 elections….and others of course. Did the Ampatuans prepared and ready a “sumthin” for LEVERAGE knowing things could get worse before they get bitter? lolz….

  • dFish says:

The best PGMA move so far. Thanks for this Reynz…

    • Snow says:

I concur, there is NO NEED for Martial Law now! How afraid ba is the government at umabot ang decision sa ganito?

I smell something fishy here. Why do I have the feeling that the act is the start something unpleasant for the Philippines. ~tsk~tsk~tsk~

Martial Law in Maguindanao? Then what, martial law nationwide???

This is absurd. Declaration of martial law when there is an upcoming election reminds me so much of the Marcos administration.

Are we going to the same route huh???

  • aguy says:

Leverage? (1.) Who supplied them with weapons and armory to arm 2 battalions? Names…names.. (2.) PNP and CVOs were among the perpetrators…names..names (3.) Can the Ampatuans spill the beans how they cheated for GMA to win in 2004 and 2007 elections?

    Laglagan na!!

  • darbs says:

Uh..uh.. The U.N. experts are back to Manila…

Lawyer Romel Bagares of CenterLaw said they had to ask Peruvian forensic expert Dr. Jose Pablo Baraybar and weapons expert Christopher Cobb-Smith to fly to Manila after unidentified men were seen shadowing the team at the Pacific Heights Hotel in Cotabato City Wednesday night.

Alarmed, Bagares said the foreigners and their team left the hotel and spent the night elsewhere.

Bagares said the other reason they decided to go back to Manila was the non-cooperation of local government agencies.

Hindi lang plan A. may plan B. and then Plan C? What about plan D, E, F, G?

Was the November 23, 2009 a blessing in disguise?

    May oportunidad ba ang nakita?

    Saang butas makakalusot?

Mas lalong mahirap ang problema, mas lalong gagana ang MGA UTAK PINOY!

As long as PERANG PANG GASTOS AY MERON TAYO!

    Papaano ba patahimikin ang naghihirap?

Magkano ba ang bayad nuong batang nasagasaan?

    Magkano ba ang buhay?

    Nababayaran ba?

    Noon, pagkakaalam ko, nababayaran…

    End of the story?

    Ako po ay taga Mindanao…

  • AFP:No Need For Martial Law:
“There is no need for the declaration of martial law in the area of Maguindanao or elsewhere in the country because the AFP and the Philippine National Police are on top of the situation,” said AFP spokesman Lt. Col. Romeo Brawner.
“We now have a level of normalcy in the province of Maguindanao primarily because of the occupation by our government forces and our law enforcement agencies of the seats of government,” he added.

  • [...] see mga kabarrio, even when I wrote my Martial Law in Maguindanao entry, I thought there was something in there that’s related to the 2004 and 2007 elections. [...]

  • delta says:
