Michael Jackson Memorial and ‘Man In The Mirror’
I know…I might sound like a broken record if I still blog about Michael Jackson here — considering the 2 previous posts about him – but let me blog about him anyway.
He he he.
Separate videos of the various numbers/acts in the said memorial service are the only ones I found.
But it was fine. It was a school night last night anyway and so I was not able to watch the live coverage of the 2 big TV Networks here in the Philippines.
And then, gusto ko ding sabihin na meron akong last-song-syndrome recently. The song is Michael Jackson’s Man in the Mirror.
Kagabi mga 6-7 pm…wala akong ginawa kundi i-replay ng i-replay ang YouTube video na ito ng Man in the Mirror:
Hmmm….move over Adam Lambert! (Checkout MJ’s eye-shadow. Ganda di ba? Bagay sa kulay nya dyan sa video. )
Actually, eto ang original music video ng Man in the Mirror:
Then I realized…even long before President Barack Obama was campaigning CHANGE in America…Michael Jackson was shouting change to the heavens above.
In the said song it said specifically that change should start in the man in the mirror (yourself) — which is very true in this world.
Pag nagbago para sa kabutihan ang bawat taong nabubuhay sa earth…eh talagang magkakaron na ng world peace and this will be a better place to live in.
Still, I will always stand in awe over the life and death of Michael Jackson. He will never be equalled nor surpassed.
Syempre one can never have it all in life. Sabihin siguro ng Diyos, ano ka sinisuwerte? So si MJ… he suffered an unhappy childhood and an unhappy personal life despite his fame and fortune.
Halimbawa, imbes na you know…sabi ni MJ eh ya knuuuu.

Glo is 100% bicolana. Born in a small barrio in Sorsogon,Gloria graduated with a degree in Chemistry from UPLB, where she spent 18 years of her life, studying and later working with a 10-year rigorous experience in working in various chemical-analytical laboratories. She skipped lab work for various reasons: napagod na sya, napuno na sya at ayaw na niyang tuluyang mabaog, seriously she just wanted a 'normal' family setting for her son (whatever normal means!) and a chance to re-invent herself career-wise and personal-wise.

I was able to watch the replay yesterday and I must admit I got teary-eyed when his daughter – whom he hid from the world – had spoken up for the first time in front of so many people and told the world on how much she loves her Dad. It just showed that MJ is a human being just like the rest of us.
My heart was dreadfully melt when the kid told that she love her Dad so much in front of these huge numbers of people during the Memorial service,…I really felt what his daughter said, coz im also A Dad of 3 children.
“Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And I just wanted to say I love him so much”, after that she cries.

@N!ph, I missed to say TRUE! TRUE! NA, “Rather we should thank God that such men lived”
“Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me”
Saan ba? Peace on earth or Manufactured ng gyera dahil profitable.
Man in the mirror is one of my favorite MJ songs. Ang ganda ng aral ng kantang yan.
If you want to change the world, start changing yourself first.
