There’s another blog who just joined the fray or should I say, rescue the blogs of shamers Brian Gorrel and Dona Victorina who are no match to Barrio Siete? Well, read on with my analintek review. But for now, let’s congratulate this blogger for a very nice Alexa ranking who beats out Barrrio Siete. It’s a blog by one “celebrity” according to Eric. I honestly have no clue who they are! Hahaha! So, if I mixed up some names (the Mo or the Mojo or the Mo Twister of whoever! Dang! I guess you guys already know who I am talking about), have mercy, do not unfriend me on Farmville! Hahaha! But does Mo Twisted really thinks he beats out Barrio Siete?!

Celebrity blogs typically have run-away stats, great base, great readership, unbelievable rankings, after all, they have some shows and possibly loyal listeners. Some do a lot of SEO tricks on their sites. We don’t have that privilege in Barrio Siete. We only rely on who would trash Reyna Elena next! Hahaha!
BUT!
Eto na naman ang lola nyo! I’m out to prove to you that B7 can kick ass this one celebrity that Eric is talking about and we don’t even have a radio show. Chika station lang with Eklat! Hahaha! And I will show you that I can disprove another twisted claim by a certain Mo! Ready?!
So, let’s go take a look and see what’s really happening, shawee?!
1.) Pageviews. There is no more explaining what it is, if you have followed my previous entries where I showed you how clearly we trounced and kicked the asses of these medically talcum powder induced imagined celebrity status of Brian Gorrell and Dona Victorina. Now, it’s Mojo or Mo Twister or whoever. Who gets more pageviews? Check the graph. I guess around this time you already know that B7 clearly beats out MoTwisted.
2.) Let’s talk about bounce rate. It’s the rate of how fast users leave your site as soon as they land on your page. And even if you check the bounce rate, Mo Twisted’s visitors leaves as fast as they arrive compared to B7. Huh! Now, Mo Twisted has something to chew about.
3.) Now, what about the time users spend on the site? If you truly have something of value to your visitors, they will stay and stick. Why is Mo Twisted’s blog having some problems?! Check this out.
Now you know that celebrity status (perceived, real or imaginary or even medically injected or sniffed talcum powder) is not an automatic ASSurance of a blogs readership or popularity. It hurts the more because “celebrities” are far more visible to deliver some really kick-ass numbers but in the case of MoTwisted, it could not even compare with Barrio Siete, huh!
B7′s blog performance is transparent – you can check the category SOBA. I’m curious why Mojo compared his blog to B7 and did not check the inside. Afraid to know the truth? Now you know your blogs performance.
It’s an advantage to not only have a celebrity status but also a radio show and you could have more than the numbers that you’re showing considering that none in the barrio are celebrities other than Eklat and Buraot! Hahaha! But even with the clear advantage of Mo Twisted, still Barrio Siete comes out on top! What gives now Mo Twisted?!
Oh! And did I just read that Mojo or Mo Twisted or whoever among them is one of my fans? my reader who tweets my entries and broadcast them on the radio?! I think that’s what I read on his comments. I have to double check. I kinda ignored his comment that’s why.

My bet is always here. We have not maligned anybody (unless started by other party like we know who) and especially to the Victorinas. We perceived them as allies as we share common political views more as to social justice and transparency.
The question was very simple: Why are they promoting and aligning themselves to hate sites and those who personally attack B7 and Reynz?
We have no answers from them, that was fine! Beyond to this, I noticed these organized and syndicated barrage of hate articles on b7 peeps and Reynz came. What’s wrong with DV, Brian and other disgruntled personalities hating us?
I am not a pro-Noynoy but I do not disrespect choices of Reynz and others who like Noynoy. We still remain friends despite our differences. It’s called DIVERSITY.
And Brian Gorrell’s fabricated stories are OBVIOUSLY a amateurish demolition job. Don’t do that! That’s HATRED!

1.) Consulting work is something you need to research. Ba’t mo naman gagawin issue ang unemployment ko? I think you got it wrong kasi si Mojo ang may hawak sa Dv, tapos si Mo may sariling blog about entertainment tapos kahit anong kengkoy naiisip niya. Yung blog ni Mo rarely talks about politics tapos di naman siya nagmamalaki na magaling na writer siya, its just an all around fun site. i visit it regularly kasi may prizes siya and maganda ang mga pictures. yung dv ang blog na nanira yata sa sa’yo, di yung kay Mo. at while sikat ang B7 compared to other pinoy sites, i dont think its something you should boast about kasi ang internet naman doesnt care for national boundaries or competition between specific blogs. siguro maging proud ka kung maytalo mo ang google o kaya facebook, but to show stats about how one blog compares to another blog is pretty lame kasi both of your blogs fairly poorly against the worlds best sites. so wag naman feeling big time, both B7 and DV. and to defend Mo ulit, his rise on alexa is only from a few month (two months lang yata) and he is the fastest rising blog in the country and maraming siya sponsors and exclusive interviews with international stars on his blog. he may not be a great writer pero di yata naman yung point niya doon. para mag entertain lang and as i see he is very good at that. i love all your sites wag lang maging sobrang yabang dahil ang layo niyo sa mga totoong big time.

I remember when you wrote this post, about a yerar ago, Mo Twister’s blog was less than 6 month old of course mas mababa ranking nya.
You also do not know how to interpret Alexa data. Daily pageviews PER USER means just that. It is a RATIO. For your users, they view more pages than they do Mo’s. It can mean that for every day, his users view less pages of his site because they already have seen previous entries. Your users meanwhile, linger longer because they are regulars and active commenters. You misrepresent Pageviews Per User as pageviews. Show the other Alexa stats and not only those you can misrepresent.

Just because you don’t like the results does not mean that I don’t know how to read Alexa charts. Nice try. Read the entry again. You’ll find out.
You used the word “CAN” and you’re right. It could mean that too but fact of the matter is, the leave as fast as they leave B7.
And that is the challenge in blogging. How do you keep your visitors? I suspect that Mo Twister is using SEO tricks which is fine. Everybody does that. We don’t although we can. The challenge is, how do you make your visitors be regulars? There is no trick to make them regular other than giving them something of value. What can be deduced from this is that, there is a high probability that our entries gives value more to our readers that’s why they stay.
It’s a different audience. I don’t know what’s Mo’s demographics. Depending on the demographics, the value differs also.
If you’re looking for other stats, those are the important stats to check in a blog.
But see, here’s my big question to you Momoy – WHY DID MO TWISTER COMPARED HIS BLOG TO BARRIO SIETE when B7 don’t even have celebrities? You left the big factor Momoy, B7 still beats out Mo Twister WITHOUT US HAVING A CELEBRITY.

in the blogging world, typically, if you don’t respond to comments, commenters gets annoyed and they don’t come back. your reaction was quite the opposite.
Here is the problem. Mojo started the fire, which included Mo’s site for reason of comparison, B7 on the other hand backfired and insulted Mo, Who is not even informed of such, that made him angry. Mo twister is an outright frank and open minded person, even Hillary Clinton called him genius for that reason, and almost all political aspirants want their names be on his radio show (on Magic 89.9 Goodtimes with Mo from 6.00am-9.00am). I think this site owe Mo an apology. He never created a site to compete, it’s just a hobby to him, and it’s just a plus that people actually read his blog entries. Ayan, because of misguidedness the fire got bigger. You guys shouldn’t have insulted Mo. It only makes you guys look childish, you should have asked first. Mo Twister is a popular Radio DJ that eventually created a blog, (started like 3months) just for people especially listeners that were unable to listen to the show or to call and give their two cents with the topics.
It’s a way to post the show’s previous topics for the listeners to comment/get updated. It’s essential because the radio show could be heard via internet so it’s convenient having a written review.
I listen to the radio show every single morning and I never heard anything related to yo or this B7.
It’s like over reacting for you to post this whole telenovela based on just a picture with Mo Twister’s name on it.

Oh my. As far as I’m concerned this issue with Mo Twister started when VICTORINA posted Mo’s article with a title that is far from its content.
I believe what Reyna Ellena did was just a rebuttal from that article.
Now it shows that that article written by Mo had a different title but the admins at Victorina changed the title of the said blog post which is totally unrelated to what the article is all about. And what the hell is that graph comparing barrio siete and Mo’s blog had to do with the article? wala.
Clearly, Victorina has a lot of explaining to do especially to Mo.
They should be the one apologizing to Mo, not Reyna, because they twisted Mo’s article into something else.

We don’t have any celebrities here. And no were not number one but we’re certainly proud of the numbers we have and that’s just to show Victorina and other bashers that yeah, we’re unknown and barriotics but can kick-ass some numbers.

Johnonymous… to address your query as to why Amiel posted that Victorina does not endorse any Presidentiable… you say that it was not asked of him? How would you know what prompted Amiel to write that post?
Your personal speculation may seem valid but it is divisive to say the least.
Obviously he wanted to state that DV as a blog doesn’t endorse a specific Presidentiable because some people felt otherwise… just because you didn’t read an accusation on his blog doesn’t mean that you wouldn’t be able to infer this.
While the specific writers may have their own candidates that they like or dislike running for President, we make it a point to write about the good bad and the ugly of each Presidentiable.
Try not to read too much into things
Just like on our radio program… people blow things out of proportion.
You really can’t please everyone all the time…
We’ve been accused of being too pro-Villar, too close to Dick Gordon… blah blah blah (but to be honest, when they guested on our show… I made it a point to grill them both kasi people want to know all issues surrounding their campaign bids… c5 insertion, reproductive health bill, etc)
We’ve even been accused of being anti-Noynoy… but i find that funny when i’ve mentioned on air so many times how i love Noynoys tvc/jingle and even want to adopt Baby James (he’s so cute)
But pls before we get out of hand… i’ve never called Noynoy mentally deficient or said anything bad about Reyna’s vital statistics and the same goes for Amiel. (pinoybuzz, pls stand up! heh heh)
Talk about pointless arguments… instead of bloggers knockin’ other bloggers, lets get back to saving our biting comments for others more deserving… i’m all up for a good scrap but we’re only hurting ourselves here don’t ya think?
I’m already getting tired of typing… i’ve been writing all day, but i hope b7 and reyna, you guys get my point…
No one’s perfect but i’m sure for all of us bloggers here in question, we’re all striving in our own ways to better ourselves and our nation… and if that entails checks & balances within the blogging community… so be it.
But sana we could refrain from such harsh words and accusations when dealing with each other.

On the Mo twister matter, probably you don’t subscribe to TFC and been gone to the Philippines for quite a while coz I’ve known Mo Twister (as a dj/host etc.) since High School which is around 15 years ago.

MOST radio personalities crave for controversies. Not sure if you follow the one here in the United States.
For example, we have long time radio rivals Don Imus and Howard Stern got literally got into a verbal confrontation when Imus ran a skit spoofing Stern’s girlfriend and Stern phoned into Imus’ show. We have Art Bell and we have Rush Limbaugh and many, many more. They’re like lions and tigers fighting for controversies for some very simple reasons.
In the radio business, if you’re not talked about, no one would listen to you. The idea in the radio is to have MORE listeners. The more listeners you have, the higher your ratings become. In the United States, we have what we call – the Arbitron Ratings. The higher your ratings, the higher advertising fees you charge your advertisers because of the reach. Set aside what kind of advertisers you have because it depends on the demographics.
I’ve been in the radio industry for many, many years. In fact, that’s where I started my US career and I know how they work.
If I am reading this right, being called by Hillary Clinton as genius does not translate with the very obvious Dona Victorina entry and yes, these hate commenters do no understand the entry (much less read the entry), or even understand the satire in it – “Mo Twisted” means, “Mo’s entry was twisted by Dona Victorina”.
Readers sent me examples of the hate fag comments on Mo’s blog and that’s partly generated by the headline which is homophobic that’s why you read a lot of homophobic comments on the blog – and only two meaningful ones. None of these hate comments will be seen here. There will always be homophobes in the world and there will always be those who will instigate hatred. No one can stop them.
I’m glad I was able to contribute something to the show that something they could talk about. Now, from what I’m reading from the comments that the Mojo and the Mo dislike each other and using B7, that’s the radio business. Always on a hunt for controversy.
Maybe the blogworld is the new frontier to look for dirt to air?

Unfortunately for me, I dont listen to radio talk shows nowadays. I still prefer Tiya Dely and the old pioneers in radio. Shame on that guys, he wants to be known so he prefers to be controversial para lang mapagusapan. Hay.

One B7 reader sent me the original entry written by that blogger. It’s obvious that the blogger just wanted to ride on the controversy to gain traffic. I went to his blog and perused and his blog is full of adsense and money-making stuff. That explains it all. Most of these blogs are doing SEO tricks and links, and the blogger did not even care to read and understand the issue and what I wrote and he admits it.

that’s the bread and butter of a radio personality. i worked for 2 of the biggest radio industry here in the United States for jeezzz more than a decade!!! and i knew the business and antics and i am not surprised with what Mo is doing – using me to drum up interest in him and fish controversies para me mapagusapan sa airwaves and you know what that means – more listeners – high ratings – high ratings equals expensive time slots for advertisements. ganun lang yon.

MANILA, Philippines – Are radio DJ and television host Mo Twister and TV host-comedienne Pokwang engaged in a verbal tussle?
The exchange of heated words between the 2 celebrities reportedly ensued after Pokwang purportedly got irked when Mo allegedly referred to her as the ugliest host of ABS-CBN’s hit noontime show “Wowowee.”
This, however, was denied on Sunday by the radio DJ, who is known for being frank on his shows.
In a statement made on his celebrity talk show “Paparazzi,” Mo denied calling her ugly.
“Ang sinabi ko naman tungkol kay Pokwang, and it was very clear dito sa ‘Paparazzi,’ the reason why ‘Wowowee’ is a very popular show is because of Willie Revillame. Tungkol ito sa tweet na ni-retweet ni Pokwang na siya ang nagpapataas ng ratings ng ‘Wowowee.’ I said very clearly Willie is ‘Wowowee.’ And you cannot be mistaken, there’s no other reason kung bakit successful ang show na ‘yon,” Mo said.
Mo also commented on Pokwang’s alleged remarks that Mo’s TV program is not popular.
“If you are referring to ‘Paparazzi,’ fine. We are a new show but at least we are on the rise. And Pokwang we’re not on the decline like your program is. You need your host (Revillame). Your show is single digit decline now, my love. So, I’d say you get your host back and maybe you can join Bb. Pilipinas next year,” he said.
On Monday Pokwang retorted that she is more interested in listening to President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III’s first State of the Nation Address.
“Mas importante ang SONA kesa sa mga taong naninira lang sa talk show nila! Hahahahahaaa,” Pokwang tweeted.
She also posted this in her Twitter account: “Wag nalang natin patulan mga mangmang na hosts sa hindi sikat na talkshow!!”
The comedienne also extended her appreciation to all her supporters.
“Sa milyong pinoy na nagtatanggol sakin maraming salamat po all over d world!! Sa mga pikon na iilan lang naman kayo… God bless you!” she said.
