My personal confusion err conclusion on the Maguindanao massacre
A military’s job is to remain quiet?
I’ve been glued on TV 24 horas, listening and watching the latest on the Maguindanao massacre. It’s unbelievable how they planned this bloody carnage. It is also puke-wrenching listening to those two military personnel who were at the checkpoint who claimed that they have no clue and/or is not a part and/or they were a victim too and that given that they were afraid of their life, they chose to be quiet. Yong dalwa have not made their statements daw. Pero, un momento senor! Did I miss something that being in the military, that is really part of your job – to protect people’s lives?! Is it not?! Gawd! So much of protecting life! Where are my nephews to educate me?! But hey! Yong Military Lieutenant who scolded Vice Mayor Datu Marcial Sinsuat sa military checkpoint dapat i-promote hahaha! He’s the man! Because of the total gun ban sa area, palusot pa yung Vice Mayor, me baril pala sa kotse ang mokong!
Shariff Kabunsuan
The more I get to know about the province of Maguindanao. Weird that it was this massacre that would sorta open me up to what’s this province is all about. I learned that this was divided into two (2) provinces with the new one as Shariff Kabunsuan. In any case, the latest I learned was that the Supreme Court overturned the creation? Tama ba? And all these divisions of provinces and municipalities were to appease warlords in these areas? Tama ba?
Poorest province
I also learned that I should stop complaining about my own province because Maguindanao essentially puts my province as first class, over the top, premier 1st level puritas provincias. Siguro talo lang namin sila nang isang haligi nang tulay because all I read is that Maguindanao is one of the poorest provinces ever ever. But see, people are not being fair to Maguindanao. They’re not poor. In fact, they could very well teach the entire country in world class housing program. Look at this Ampatuan mansion.
Unparalleled talents
Filipino politicians truly are one talented bunch that could put to shame some of the best in the worlds. The Ampatuans could certainly share us all Filipinos on how to have such a really nice house in the midst of Maguindanao poverty. Mikey Arroyo is very talented too. He can grow P50,000 in three years to millions and millions of pesos. We definitely can erase poverty in one split shit in the Philippines, believe you me!
Missing muslim elders condemnation
But while I continue to listen to the latest news, there is something weird going on because I still yet to hear one Muslim elder or higher up or whoever who will condemn the killings. Bakit parang wala? O baka naman mali lang that I have been waiting for them to show up on MTV? But I noticed that if this is between Christian and Muslim, legwak masyado sa condemnation! Am I missing something? Is this a culture thing? What is going on?
Interesting stuff I learned
This is one truly learning experience. Especially this one that I got from one forum I was reading. Someone posted this as a quote:
Andal Ampatuan has four wives and over 30 children, and intermarriages with other political clans have made his political stock stronger. But political analysts trace the clan’s formidable clout to two main factors: guns and the blessings of Malacanang. They even note that no less than the Palace made it legal for the Ampatuans to have hundreds of armed men and women under their employ.
The 1987 Constitution bans private armed groups. In July 2006, however, the Arroyo administration issued Executive Order 546, allowing local officials and the PNP to deputize barangay tanods as “force multipliers” in the fight against insurgents. In practice, the EO allows local officials to convert their private armed groups into legal entities with a fancy name: civilian volunteer organizations.
In the controversial “Hello Garci” recordings, then elections commissioner Virgilio Garcillano was heard saying that Maguindanao would not be “much of a problem” for President Arroyo. His words turned out to be more than prophetic, with Maguindanao giving Arroyo 193,938 votes, against the 59,892 votes obtained by popular action film star Fernando Poe Jr. In Ampatuan and Datu Piang towns, Poe even scored zero, and in the capital Shariff Aguak and other Maguindanao towns, received just a handful of votes.
In the 2007 congressional and local elections, the 12 senatorial candidates of the administration’s Team Unity slate made a clean sweep of the polls in Maguindanao, or scored 12-0, to be exact. Family members and allies of the Ampatuans who ran for local positions also clinched wins.
Wow! Can you imagine the mushy mushy konek konek of events?
1.) The Palace made it legal for the Ampatuans to have hundreds of armed men and women under their employ???
2.) Although the 1987 Constitution bans private armed groups, the Arroyo administration issued Executive Order 546, essentially allowing local officials to convert their private armed groups into legal entities with a fancy name: civilian volunteer organizations??? Ganun?!
3.) Yong Hello Garci Bokya Kayo sa election is alam na nateng lahat.
No wonder, Andal was treated with tender loving care when he was brought to the Metropolis, all in his sunglass, leatherjacket with no posas in his ensemble! Ang equality nga naman sa Pilipinas, fairness talaga sa kanila. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!
SUMMARY OF MY UBER-INTELLIGENT OPINION
So, let me help you all out in trying to sort out what’s gonna happen here. I could see them in my balls. Err, my crystal balls. My fallopian tubes hanging between my legs.
By just reading the newspaper accounts, minsan nga detalye pa nilang ni-re-report, kesyo they planned this during a family gathering. Yet in essence, all these investigations by PNP, to me, has already resulted and that they have already established culpability nang mga Ampatuan. Now, bakit parang takot ang PNP to arrest the Ampatuans? Hulaan! So, eto ang aking therefore may I conclude:
It’s Artificial Intelligence!
Having seen and heard the emotionless statement of one of the backhoe operator, very well dress with hat costume designed by Ita Gomo who claimed that he did not operate the machine nor does he know that the other backhoe operator did it as well. Gee! Can somebody check if the backhoe came from Japan? I heard technology does wonders. It could very well be that the backhoe operated and acted on its own! Gosh! Why don’t you people believe in artificial intelligence!
It’s Mass suicide!
While they’re preparing the venue in Cotabato City, while most judges and prosecutors are getting death threats, now you know who really are the powers that be in the country. We’re officially one warlord country! Viva La Colombia! Somos sus hermanos! Welcome Afghanistan! For I won’t be suprised that in the end, this will turn out to be one mass suicide and everyone else involved will be accorded their own freedom, liberty and equal hati hati.

“The Palace made it legal for the Ampatuans to have hundreds of armed men and women under their employ???”
