Naranasan Mo Na Ba Ang BB?

9 February 2010 19 Comments

bloggingWriter’s block is a condition, associated with writing as a profession, in which an author loses the ability to produce new work. The condition varies widely in intensity. It can be trivial, a temporary difficulty in dealing with the task in hand. At the other extreme, some “blocked” writers have been unable to work for years on end, and some have even abandoned their careers.. iyan ay ayon kay Mr Wiki (kung may iba ka pang alam na meaning, paskil mo sa comment section ha)

But what if a blogger loses the ability to blog, can you still consider it as a writer’s block? I don’t think so as being a blogger does not necessarily mean you are a writer. The more apt, I guess, is BLOGGER’S BLOCK.

Blogger’s Block is a condition in which the blogger loses the ability and desire to blog. Obviously this condition can only be experienced by bloggers. This condition varies, some may experience it for a short period of time, some for years.

So ano naman ang pwedeng maging sanhi ng pagkakaroon mo ng Blogger’s Block aber?

One of the most common cause of Blogger’s Block is reality. Oo.. realidad. This is what happens when you suddenly realized that you have been blogging and neglecting your real life. There comes a time when in everything you do, you always think if it is blogworthy. And when you think it is blog worthy, you start drafting a blog entry on your mind. And because of this your world revolves around the phrase, I ba blog ko yan! Then all of sudden, you called it quits. And you thought of blogging about it, about spending less time blogging but then you thought you shouldn’t blog about it, hey you are trying to spend less time on the net. And that battle goes on and on and thus occupying much of your “blogging” time.

Another cause of this condition is Paid posting. O kayong mga adik sa paid post…for sure relate kayo. You lose the ability to blog because you can only blog if it is a paid post. Or sometimes even if you want to blog about something, you just don’t have the energey to do so because.. what’s  the use of a filler post if you don’t have a paid post. LOL

Facebook. Don’t tell me otherwise. I know you are not updating your blog because you are too busy waiting for your friend’s update (so you can comment on it). And if not, for sure, you are farming in Farmville or busy busting the Mafia. Or you are watching your Triple Berry Cheesecake which requires 12 hours to cook. How about your bacon Cheeseburger? which will only take 5 minutes to cook. And while doing this, you promise yourself to blog about something as soon as you start cooking the burger but then again, you realized you need to harvest your veggies on Farmville, and when done, you completely forgot what it is you are to blog about.

Moi? I go for the paid post addiction… nyahaha.. nagbebenta ako ng kaluluwa. So when I opened my SR or my Payu tabs and there is not a single one opps there, I turned to FB and start commenting on my friend’s wall post. So when you see me being active on FB, it means I am having a Blogger’s Block..

Ikaw? When ka naman naka experience ng BB?

And yes she did, she now hold three degrees on BS Home Econanay (major on scream) and currently on her fourth. She is a multitasker, she blog, she cooks, she breastfeed, she do the laundry. She is the mommy in front (not behind no) of Make or Break (pehpot.com), a parenting blog that focus on humor as a way to survive kids 101. Aside from maintaining her losyang figure (and make or break), she also maintain two more blogs and plan to put up some more. Blogging is her answer to her insanity, it’s cheaper than theraphy.
