No Glee on Charice’s Glee acting

No rave reviews here for Charice’s acting. Sorry.
I know Charice singing on Glee last night was more that great! It was more than uber. Her rendition of the song “Listen”, excellent! Way better than the original. But why was she smiling all throughout even during the bathroom confrontation? I don’t get it! So, in terms of acting?! Sorry kids, but no rave reviews for me here. Could be better. Needs a lot of improvement. Like Simon Cowell, her acting is horrendously forgettable. That’s my score.

you probably didnt understand the story line… if you watch closely sunshine corazon said at the end of the duet that she found it fun singing with rachel berry and asked when the audition is. thus the smiling while singing the duet the whole time…watch it again

Agree ako sa iyo Reynz. I couldn’t also understand why she is grinning during the bathroom scene.

Tanungin nyo kaya yung director kung bakit nya pinagsmile c charice sa bathroom scene… ang hina nyo naman…
I gather she was grinning because she was obviously a fan of Rachel (and the Glee Club) who was suddenly singing with her. Her acting wasn’t stellar but I think her grin was just for the scene. No Emmy-award-winning director would have allowed a misplaced smile in any scene.
What I couldn’t get was the appearance of her swarovski-studded microphone and all her usual arm movements in the audition. It reeks of extensive singing experience rather than the typical shyness a newcomer like Sam (Beiber-look-alike Sam) was displaying.
I guess it’s only the first episode and we all really have to learn more about Sunshine Corazon character. Maybe she was a Filipino singing sensation before she transferred to McKinley High, who knows?
Hahahaha! Basta I love her when she sang Telephone with Lea Michele, yun nga lang odd talaga kung bakit nakabungisngis siya when Lea was so pissed off. Hindi ko rin keri ang hand gestures niya while singing Listen gusto kong itali ang mga kamay niya. LOL
SORRY HU! SORRY! hahaha! di ko na po aawayin si Charice! PRAMIS! hehe!

LOL… di ko din ma-gets kung bakit siya nakabungisngis lagi sa mga scenes niya. Acting-wise, kelangan niya pa ng training and coachng. Pero wa ko na pinansin yun…. yung kanyang pagkanta na lang ang aking pinagtuunan ng pansin – and kewl talaga performance niya.
hahaha ACTING lang naman pinansin ko taz constructive naman ako Mel di ba? hahaha!
So typical kasi of Pinoy as nitpickers. Instead of being proud of what Charice has accomplished so far, we nitpick on her acting which we are not even sure if it’s part of the script. After one episode, don’t you think it’s a bit premature to judge?
It’s not. I watched the entire episode. Naka ngiti talaga siya noong kino confront siya sa banyo, hehehe. Saka yup, dapat shy na exchange student siya tapos nung kumanta kapareho nung nasa Oprah siya, HAHAHAH! That said, fan pa rin ako and proud sa na accomplish niya. Pero it doesn’t mean we sugarcoat lahat nung obvious na kamalian nya. Hindi nitpicking yan. Constructive criticism tawag jan..para kapag nagkarun siya ng chance ulit, di na sana maulit davah?

Sorry but im not buying this. Ryan Murphy directed it that way. In the 1st place if it shouldnt be that way then RM should do a retake of the scene.. Duh? No offense but you dont understand the plot. Think 1st, why is she acting that way. Obviously she is having fun. Duh?! Imo she did good as far as acting is concern. I feel sorry for those who dont appreciate. Cant please everyone i guess.

Her acting was good. She’s smiling because she’s not malicious, for her it wasn’t a confrontation. In fact what she said right after explained it all, she thought that it was fun. Is it really hard to follow the plot?

Agree ako sa iyo…the acting sucks. She’s a great singer though so stick to singing na lang kaya? Or mag acting workshop muna?

i think there’s a purpose sa pagbungisngis nya. tama yun isang nagpost na siguro naman magtatake two o pagsasabihan ng director si charice kung mali yun anakto nya at hindi nya basta basta palalagpasin yun.
malay natin yun talaga yung karakter nya di ba? parang sa mga usual films na merong laging galit ang tono kahit hindi kagalit galit yun sinasabi, meron parang laging nagaapologize at may seryoso kahit nagtatawanan na ang paligid etcetc
siguro pa nga yun direktor pa mismo ang nagsabi na magbungisngis sya di ba? hindi sa pinapagtanggol ko sya im not her fan. yun nga lang para namang nadegrade yun direktor kung hindi talaga sya pala dapat nakangiti sa scene tapos hinayaan lang na nakaganun sya???? do i make a sense?
Naka wan million take na eh ganun pa rin nakangiti habang kino confront kaya hinayaan na lang ng direktor. Nanigas na yung ngiti side effect ng botox, heheheheeee.

IMO, for a first timer, i think she did great. pati yun hand gestures, i love it. she needed those hand gestures para maka bwelo.
