Noynoy Aquino Is Ahead In The Polls
And so, if the Philippine Presidential Elections is going to be held today, Noynoy Aquino will be the runaway winner.
The latest polls released by the Social Weather Stations (SWS conducted on September 5 and 6 among 1,200 respondents during the week before Aquino formally announced his decision to seek the highest post has given:
1.) 50% to Noynoy Aquino
2.) 14% to Manny Villar
3.) 14% to Joseph Estrada
4.) 12% to Chiz Escudero
5.) 7% to Noli de Castro
The polling was done in Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Central Luzon and Calabarzon—an area that is home to 40 percent of registered voters—and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. ABS-CBN said that 10 percent of respondents belonged to the A, B and C classes—the wealthy and the middle class—while 90 percent belonged to the D and E classes—the poor. Source: Inquirer
What’s interesting was that Noli de Castro who was the frontrunner last year is no longer in the running and has given the administration party his intention not to run. You read it right! So, it’s going to be, most probably, Gilbert Teodoro for the Lakas-Kampi-CMD.
Now, given the blatant in your face corruption which seemed to have even gone worse, worser, worserestedefakfak! Gosh! There is no darn right word for the never ending disgusting thieveries going on! I still believe that this election is about good and evil. Wait – not good. But as to who the lesser evil is!
And Manny Villar was quick to denounce that it isn’t.
“Who are they to say who is good and who is evil? They are trying to mislead us because this has always been a fight between the poor and the rich,’’ said Villar in an interview at the Inquirer head office Saturday. Source: Inquirer
