Noynoy Aquino’s BOGUS Psychological Report

9 April 2010 47 Comments

Somebody sent a parcel to our imaginary and barriotic P.O. Box in Barrio Siete. The contents of the parcel contained the alleged  psychological report of Noynoy Aquino. Here are the pictures of this so-called  psychological  report from Ateneo de Manila University.

The first 2 pages of the report may look like an original psychological report. Unfortunately, if you read the last page, it will reveal that the report is an ULTIMATE BOGUS.

The signatory in the report was Fr. Carmelo Caluag SJ. Fr. Caluag, by profession is a teacher and priest (as well as Ateneo de Manila High School Principal at some point of his career in 1996). Protocols in psychiatric and psychological evaluation and reports only allow licensed psychiatrists and psychologists to render such reports.

Oh, I almost forgot. It is indicated in the report that the department who conducted the evaluation was the Department of Psychology in Ateneo. If I am not mistaken, the only allowed department to conduct these kind of reports and evaluations is the guidance and counseling office. Department of Psychology may refer to the college department itself. I can recall during my student days that the Psychology Department may conduct psychological tests and reports but only FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES ONLY. Sometimes, mock up na nga lang due to the sensitivity of such cases.

And these kind of reports are kept in strict confidentiality as an adherence to the patient’s bill of rights. Depending on the country, there are sanctions against violations of patient’s bill of rights. This proves that there are idiots out there, spreading misinformation like these. And what they will gain in the end? Nothing. They will only make Noynoy popular as ever.

People should be aware of these negative propaganda. These kinds of propaganda are out to condition the voter’s minds and spread misinformation. CHEAP. CHEAP. CHEAP.

On the other hand, Father Calauag released a statement pertaining to this issue:

FR. CARMELO A. CALUAG

Silang, Cavite

Philippines 4118

8 April 2010

Dear All,

Blessings of Easter joy, peace, and hope!

Several people had asked me, mostly by SMS, about a psychological report I supposedly wrote and/or signed in 1996 that is circulating first in a blog (politicalamateur.wordpress.com/2010/04/08/noynoys-medical-record/) and is now through regular email and other social networks such as facebook.

I have just read the said report and would like to put it on record that it is definitely not my work. I am a teacher, educator, and priest both by training and vocation. I am in no way competent to make any psychological assessments and, much less, write such a report.

Furthermore, I wish to point out the following:

  1. I was never connected with the Psychology Department of the Ateneo de Manila as the report claims. The date of the report, 1996, would indicate, as people in the Ateneo know, that my assignment then was principal of the Ateneo de Manila High School.
  2. The signature that was placed on the report is the type of signature I would use to sign thousands of letters to Ateneo de Manila alumni from 2000-2005 to greet them on their birthdays. I personally signed each letter, since I did add a personal note to alumni I knew personally. As such, this signature would be very accessible to someone who would think of forging my signature by attaching it to a document and circulating it electronically.
  3. More formal letters and reports (on matters on which I have competence on) I would normally sign using a somewhat different signature, more formal than the one that appears on this forged report.

Simply put, the said report is bogus. Why my name and signature was attached to it, I do not know, but the act is enough to make me say that whoever is behind it is not being honest and might have other motives. I leave it to people now to make that judgment.

If the person who posted it in the blog did so in good faith and genuine concern and will be kind enough to let me know where he got the said letter or article, I will be most grateful. This will allow me to correct the mistake of a report attributed to me that I did not write and have no competence to write.

I hope this is a good warning to people not to readily believe anonymous messages.

I pray we will continue to be discerning and I pray we will rise above self-centred interests and instead work hard so that this coming elections will truly reflect the deepest dreams and hopes of our people.

Let us pray for one another and our country.

Sincerely yours,

Fr. Carmelo A. Caluag

We should be aware that these bogus informations are out there to condition our minds and lead us away from the supposed truth. In Filipino, WAG PAPAUTO. Okay?

from who’s camp? villar? lakas-kampi? some gordon supporters?

    • armand campos says:

i do agree that it was a cheap shot (by a desperate candidate who says he was poor but in reality was and continues to be rich…maybe it is he who is suffering from delusions).

      • Silver says:

        Hehehe. Delusional.

Oh well, cheap tactics like these wont work.

Thanks for dropping by my post. :)

    • Silver says:

      Fz,

Not clear. I happen to read a mail in our Barrio Siete post office. Must have been addressed to one of our kagawads in the Barangay Hall.

But whoever spreads this false information, they are really, really STUPID. They have forgotten that in the midst of the common people, there might be other peeps who have a know how in psychological reports etc.

  • reynz says:

    Cheap shot! It won’t work.

  • Johnonymous says:

Sarili lang nila niloloko nila… hehehehe…

    • Silver says:

      Korek john.

As if naman na kakagatin ang mga ganitong bogus chorvalais. Wag kasi nila i-underestimate ang mga tao. The voters in our age are now different.

  • Mel says:

    Pathetic. So grade school. Hahaha

  • boy kardo says:

A clear case of fabricated lies by the Villar camp and whoever owned that blogsite and started sending it will have to face libel charges. I hope the Senator pursues the charge to teach these types of characters with cyber bullying.

This is similar to the Miriam Santiago fabricated lie in the 1992 presidential election about her alleged insanity which was the reason why she is now called “Brenda”.

  • baycas says:

    “Adjustments”

Villar and Co. already made “adjustments” in their campaign as they learned the dismal survey results…

Villar said he was saddened with the result of the recent Pulse Asia survey, which showed him 12 percentage points behind Liberal Party presidential bet Sen. Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III.

The NP bet said his party had known the result of the survey as early as last week and they had already made adjustments in their campaign strategy.

“Nagsilbing hamon sa amin ang ganyan. Sanay na tayo. Nag-adjust na kami kaya tingnan niyo na lang sa mga susunod na survey (It served as a challenge to us. We’re used to that. We’ve made adjustments, so just watch how the next surveys will turn out),” Villar said.

One may ask what the “adjustments”are? He answered…

“Asked on the adjustment they made, Villar refused to go into specifics but promised that he would dwell on issues thrown against him. “Mas magpapaliwanag na kami sa isyu.”

Now, as I doubt Villar’s (and Co.’s) moral and ethical character, can this “bombshell” be part of their campaign strategy “adjustments?”

    • reynz says:

      wow! baka nga! baka nga!

i did read that news about his disappointment and he was blaming his trying to elude all those C5 questions. i thought it was more of the C5, although it IS the C5 that brought him down plus the revelation about his being poor.

    • Silver says:

      @Baycas,

      Whoa. That’s juicy.

      ADJUSTMENTS.

      Tsk.

  • templar says:

Haleur! This is Miriam’s psychological report. Pinapalitan nya lng ang pangalan into Noynoy :)

    • reynz says:

u mean ginaya ung Miriam psychological report? or si Miriam ang me pakana? this is truly getting interesting! besides just for the sake of argument – private information to di ba?

      • templar says:

It is THE Miriam psych report. Pinalitan lng ang date at ang pangalan. And yes mama, this is very private information. Next na ipalalabas nila, another psych report from a Boston hospital.

  • reynz says:

Soon after reading the blogs and emails exchanged on the Net about the fake psychological report, Father Caluag went out in public and disowned the signature and stated bluntly that he did not sign any psychological report of anybody.

Father Caluag stressed that he is not a psychologist and not once the head of the psychological department of Ateneo.

Parang walang nangyari…

    • Silver says:

      Mark,

That’s a valid question. Oo nga noh. Baket ang retaliation e puro kay Noynoy at parang tahimik ata about the Marcoses? Look at them, gumagapang na ulet pabalik sa kapangyarihan?

      ~kamot ulo~

    • Silver says:

      Hmmmm….

I remember tuloy yung alleged 20 pesos votebuying scenario ni Orange man sa Lipa. But clearly, it is a question against his ethics.

  • Snow says:

With the recent “clinical depression” BS the NP came out with… next thing they’ll come out with is that Gordon and Gibo are communists…. or that Bayani is Gay… or that Binay has lupus or …. well… your guess is as good as mine…

  • Reynz,

Th authors of politicalamateur.wordpress.com/2010/04/08/noynoys-medical-record/ have already deleted it.

    LOL

  • I received this same document in my e-mail the other day. Everybody is playing dirty and it has really gotten to a point where instead of discussing platforms and policies for change, these candidates end up throwing crap at each other.

  • saxnviolins says:

…and sooo ladies ang gentlemen the winner is….!!!

    sino pa ba?!

    • Silver says:

  • misstalipapa says:

Actually, there’s a popular fashion/society/what-I-ate-today-and-where-I-ate-it blog (no, it’s not bryanboy) that believes this supposedly psych report about Noy. The blogger and the commenters had fun lambasting Noynoy because he’s “abno”. Most of them are for the orange guy na nangopya ng kulay from Erap.

    • Silver says:

      Misstalipapa,

Ang tanong dyan: MARUNONG BA SILANG BUMASA NG PSYCH REPORT AND HOW TO DISTINGUISH A REAL ONE FROM A FAKE?
