Orange Question…
So as a voter, if ever you support Noynoy — you are labeled as narrow minded, dancing to the tune of noontime shows and being swayed by his ads.. not to mention stupid and ignorant.. is that it? Yet the orange guy spent “A LOT” on his ads not to mention game shows he is financing to boost his vote of confidence? Never mind the c5 controversy.. but my question is…
Is it really stupid to go for a “weak candidate.. just because you believe in his track record, credibility and honesty and be crucified for his lack of aesthetic appearance and near-mongoloid features as what others claim in virtue of your basic right to choose a candidate who fits your standard?”
Is it really narrow mindedness to pick a candidate who has no experience whatsoever, whose bloodlines are heroic destined by history, and never tainted with corruption?
Moses was a stutterer and never been good at public speaking yet he was chosen by Yahweh to represent the Jews and sent to Pharaoh as their spokeperson….
David is a shepherd, no experience whatsoever, and later became an adulterer yet he killed Goliath and became the greatest king of Israel…
Joseph was an outsider and a prisoner in egypt, yet he was the one who save the land from famine…
and Mary… oh Mary, was unnoticed, simple and nothing extraordinary about her, yet she was chosen to become the Mother of God…
John Paul II was non-existent in the college of Cardinals yet after the crucial 3 votes of no-pope-result, he was plucked out of nowhere, became the first non-italian pope in history and has lead the world into the third Millenium….
Is it really stupidity when God raises one unassuming and weak leader to lead an already God forsaken country?
It happened then, it is still happening now!
God’s wisdom is another man’s folly!
is it really our fault as a free minded voter to choose a candidate we want, blog about it and then become an instant target of ridicule just because we are expressing the basic right of free choice and freedom of speech?
So let me get this straight….
When the yellow man had his ad spread all over the national tv and then stars came out pouring, then the supporters are accused of being shallow… swayed by star power…
And when the orange guy swam in a sea of garbage, and used Michael V and dolphy on his ad, plus buying a 1 Million peso per episode segmnent in a noontimne show to boost his candidacy, yet it is “but normal”…
what gives?
Help me out here. I am confused really.
I am either narrow minded and shallow or everyone else who wear orange are just plain self-righteous and one sided….
Whatever!
On May 14, 2010.. I will wear yellow, go to the voting precint… shade my ballot for noynoy and cast my vote.
No matter how the Orange brigade yap and tattle against noynoy, the most powerful act to do as a filipino citizen is to cast my vote…
THAT FOR ME IS THE SWEETEST REVENGE OF ALL…
Don’t you love it when others try to convince you to vote for the C5 guy as hard as they can, and as far as their dirty tricks and money are concerned yet on the day of the election, he will never get a single letter of his name on my ballot?
Imagine if all the silent majority in the Philippines who never been surveyed will do the same on election day?
That I think is the greatest question which the orange guy and his hoodlums should consider answering next on his pathetic ads and blog campaigns!
YELLOW is the new BLACK…
ORANGE is the new PINK!!!!!
Go figure!
PS… Did you know that Vitamin C is good for the immune system. It will help you a lot when you are swimming in a Sea of Garbage… Yet our body needs Vitamin A in order to have a good eyesight.. to clearly see beyond the darkness and to avoid blindness. So this coming elections, take more of the yellow stuff for Vitamin A.. they will help you see beyond what the orange fruits has to offer… Excessive Vitamin A has no side effects. Too much Vitamin C beyond 500mg is harmful to the body. That’s a fact and not just a survey!

You’d ask, where is he getting the money to blow it all away? Besides, as a businessman, you think he’s not going to get it back one way or another?
Here’s what I gather on Facebook:
“WARNING. Text message from a Very Reliable Source. : “Cat’s out of the bag. VILLAR IS GMA’S SECRET CANDIDATE. Mike Arroyo met Villar in Mike Defensor’s house Jan. 7. Villar promised to make GMA Speaker of the House if he wins. GMA promised logistical support. COMELEC commissioners to ensure Villar’s victory.” – TO ARMS! SPREAD THE WORD!”
now, on the question of being narrow-minded, i’d say, Winnie Monsod’s C5 explanation is pretty clear.
Ooops! I forgot…
Did I hear that Joc-joc Bolante is an official congressional candidate of the Nacionalista Party???
Go figure…
OMG. Hindi na ba tayo entitled sa ating mga choices? Dahil lamang hindi tayo pareho ng iboboto at imamanok sa election ay narrow minded na kaagad? Sino ngayon ang narrow minded? My gosh these people.
Anyway, I never liked orange. Lemon pa siguro.
Yellow Fellows here…
Interesting read from The Philippines Today:
The Vicious Cycle of Vote-Buying and Vote-Selling
In Philippines’ politics, there are no permanent friends or foes – only permanent cost. Yes! Permanent cost: the root cause of corruption and fiefdom’s perpetration.
To run a decent election campaign, be it national or local, one would need an enormous wad of money flowing continuously. Apart from the election machinery, the cogs of which require an ample supply of grease to keep it moving, voters from Class D and E – those unemployed, hangers on, and sycophants – for them, election, is their chance to leech blood from politicians. Millions of them repeatedly troop to politicians and juiced them with such basics as; meals, burial expenses, bridges, artesian wells, basketball court and dole outs, for which politicians can’t say no, lest they can be construed as unsympathetic to people’s needs, and ground to loose their votes. Sorry to say, but politicians during election becomes a witting hostage. But soon after election, it’s payback time, because it’s the people now who will be hostage of the politician’s whims.
Politicians are not stupid, of course. Remuneration for the position they coveted are miniscule. The only way they can recoup their investment is through corruption, by way of their assumed power, privileges, perks, and influence. Discreet or brazen their corruption is, it doesn’t matter: because, for politicians, everyone has a price. And as they accumulate wealth to buy more people out, they build their fiefdom. They will protect this little kingdom with blood, if it needs be. This “vicious cycle” of vote-buying and vote-selling, perpetuates the evil of corruptions, the victim of which is the nation. And it trickles down to its citizens, who bear the brunt. Whose fault is it anyway?
Evolution of mature democracies in the world found a way of reining this “vicious cycle” through electoral reform. Electoral reform might be long time coming to the Philippines as the country needed an upside down overhaul of its culture, but it has to start somewhere, somehow.
Politicians of mature western democracies, in general, don’t spend their own money when running for office. They fund raise for their political expenses from their constituents. If their constituents believe the politician is an asset to the political party which can bring positive changes to their lives, their constituents wouldn’t hesitate to support. Then the political party, to which the politician belongs, provides the machinery. Political Parties, in essence, are strengthened institutions; abide with principles and ideologies on how best they can serve the nation, and the populations’interest and welfare.
Instituting strengthened political parties is a basic necessity for a truly workable democracy. Politicians belonging to a certain party, for example, require that they espoused the principles and ideologies of the party. This in turn is the idea the politicians will sell to electorates during election time. The battle grounds between political parties are methods, systems, and procedures to which voters are given choices which party could give them the best.

This lavish and mad spending (like a pit bull salivating for power) tells a lot about the kind of trapo a presidentiable this orange guy is…
can i say, right on the dot sir?
i like to stay with the image of a pit bull, an orange one for this matter (wow). He is going to bite us soon once in power…
Sirang sira na sa akin si Villar magmula nung inexpose nyo yung video dito dati sa show ni Ted Failon na “Failon Ngayon”. Oh well, I hope people are intelligent enough with their votes.
Beware: Ito daw meaning ng pangalan ng orange guy:
MAN IS EVIL AND LIAR = MANNY VILLAR
Ito naman ang kanyang slogan: ANG PAG-ASENSO – NADADAAN SA C5 AT TAGA
Wow! 1 million per episode on Eat Bulaga? I wonder why these politicians are spending A LOT for that position?! LOL
villar is everywhere. adsense. facebook. TV. his endorsers are uber major celebrities with masa appeal like dolphy, wowowee, sarah geronimo, aegis, april boy regino hahaha
he’ll do everything in his power to win. really desperate. scary.
Gibo or Noynoy, FTW!!!
Kawawa naman yung isang orange guy that goes by the name of ERAP. Naagawan na siya ng kulay ni Villar. Kaya masamang masama ang loob ni Jinggoy sa kanya eh.
I dont understand how the people support Villar after the SCOW REPORT.The explanation of prof. W. Monsod is very clear plus the 900 pcs. of evidence mostly from DPWH.
Wala na ba talagang pag-asa ang bayan natin?
