yong mentality ni Paul Farol is no different from some of the wicked Filipino mentality in the US reporting illegal aliens even if they are not illegal aliens. they just want to harm people. i’ve witnessed 2 similar situations here already.
1.) nag-away ang mga magpinsan ata and the girl was reported to the immigration, sa takot nung gurl nag-pakasal sa isang US citizen. good things happen, they fell in love and are ok now.
2.) there is one mailing house factory here na mostly Pinoys and some of them were illegal aliens. ang nagsumbong Pinoy den. when the factory was raided, inatake sa puso ang isa at namatay. I happen to know him.
right? these are the ugly mentality of Filipinos that I don’t think will change.
I am not confident if Paul got a real steady job or income… One would assume a family-oriented man is far too busy to feed and keep his household rather than defaming people…

I agree. I know someone with similar story. He never told anybody that he is a citizen when he got here, keeping a low profile ang drama nya. Yung naging ka share nya sa apartment palaging nagtatanong, “Pare pano ka nakapunta dito, anong papel mo?” He would just say, “eh di sumakay ng eroplano!”
After a couple of months napansin nya na yung ka share nya sa apartment was giving all these excuses na kesyo di muna magbabayad, etc. Hindi na rin bumibili ng groceries nyang sarili, inuubos kung anong nasa fridge kahit hindi kanya. So umalma yung kakilala ko at sinabing, Pare hindi pwede yung ganyan. He was in return asked, Nagrereklamo ka Pare? Baka ireport kita.
One night, hindi umuwi yung housemate. Early morning, there was a knock at the door and immigration agents dragged this person to their office. When he was asked, where is your passport, he just calmly said it was in an attache case under my bed but you didn’t give time to get it. The agents went back there to check it out. It turned out, he is a US citizen born outside of US and he had a blue passport all along. He was on his way to the Army at that time. The agents apologized.
I am not condoning illegal immigration but shame on Filipinos who take advantage of countrymen who they perceive to be powerless!
Oh, here’s the ending to the story…. years later, these two people met again. Yung isang Pinoy still rents an apartment, he still milks the system by working in a fastfood for six months and claiming unemployment for another six months. The other person served as active US Army paratrooper for seven years, then 5 years in reserve while working in the National Institute of Health. He is now a high ranking federal agent in charge of very sensitive position. He is my hsband. The end.
