Pulse Asia Survey for the month of May shows Noli Casto is leading

2 June 2009 18 Comments

Barrio Siete is committed to bringing you information about Presidential election 2010 dito sa bansa na lahat gustong maging Presidente kahit ang Pusang ito.
cat president

Sumunod si Mar Roxas II with 13 per cent.

Sen. Richard Gordon, Philippine Long Distance Co. chair Manuel Pangilinan, Chief Justice Reynato Puno, and Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro Jr. ay may one per cent. Thank the gods for small favor.

Mike Velarde (0.4 percent), Jesus is Lord Movement leader Bro. Eddie Villanueva (0.3 percent), Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chair Bayani Fernando (0.3 percent), and Pampanga governor and priest-on-leave Ed Panlilio (0.2 percent).

Francis Escudero – Metro Manila
Mindanao- Estrada and De Castro
Visayas- Roxas

    What is going on?

    Wow! This is messed up.

OK, let’s say second chance… but the crime was unforgiven. ang hatol dapat doon bitay di ba?

Bayan bayan bayan ko… wat is wrong with u?

    Oh well…

    God have mercy!

    silver,
    Yan ang PolitiCAT. hehehe

    darbs,
if you will look at the reasons for the prefence, a big number said that they prefer those who help them.

before this survey and the previous surveys, thecamp of erap and binay had been going to visayas to distribute goodies to the poor.

pati rin dito sa metromanila pero kilala siya rito and his governance.

it is up for us voters to choose.

    • darbs says:

The Cat. Yap, that makes sense. Equilibrium ba ang tawag nyan maam?

      x – 34 percent matulungin

y – Tinulungan (soup kitchen, de lata, bigas)

      Result: yap, voters rule!

Ang gulo talaga election sa atin. Ano kaya mangyayari after May 2010? Good? Bad? Same same?

“a big number said that they prefer those who help them”

    Scary..

    Scary..

It is really scary, isn’t it. It shows how selfish our people are; they only think of thmeselves; they only think of what they will get from the candidates. the corrupt factor gets only a very small percentage.

The candidates now know what to do…to give dole-outs before election.

Tapos gaganti sila pag nasa pwesto na.

    Scary, indeed.

    • Rob Angeles says:

Yes, this is exactly how they want things to be. Some people wonder why the government is not doing anything to improve the system of education in our country. It’s a simple fact that they don’t want the population getting intelligent or else..

As much as possible, they want to control people for them to reach their goals. Poor Philippines, when will we see good days again?

I am wondering what is the percentage of respondents belonging to the C and D socioeconomic
groups kasi only the people who are receiving doleouts will have this kind of response while the A and D will focus more on the track record of the candidate.

this is one of the weaknesses of this survey. the sampling size and the choice of the respondents.

i was in the academe myself and believe me there are people who also work hard to improve the education system of the country.

but it is again politics that prevent the realization of these goals.

a good example is the appointment of Neri in the CHED after he was ousted or made to resign from NEDA so that the admin has all the to look for a department where he could be transferred.

What does he know about higher education? He got his MBA from the US but that does not equip to tackle the gsrgantuan task of cleaning these diploma mils of courses which become the cash cows of private universities.

There are non-academic people who also received appointment as university presidents even they fall short of qualifications as long as powerful politicians are backing them up.

and there are the “employment agencies” for teachers who get the plantilla not because they are qualified to teach but because they paid thousands to get their preferred positions.

And i am not talking about books yet. nakakapagod.

Thanks The Cat. Wonderful, I know there are people who are working behind the scenes too. bottom up nga lang medyo slow process pero i guess that is the best thing to do rather than nothing at all.

  • fatherlyours says:

Yung sister-in-law nakuha to conduct surveys. Kaya gaunu yan eh!

  • The Cat says:

    fatherly yours,
that is another weakness of the survey, the place or geographic may be that of those where AB socio-economic group are residing but the question is who answers the questionnaire?

candidates spend millions to become visible in the media and TV is the best effective medium to be seen by many.

  • reynz says:

So, parang dead-heat si Noli, Chiz at Erap with 18, 17 and 15 if you consider the margin of error (which is 3 or 4 ba?).

Pero kung sa Metro Manila lang malakas si Chiz, therefore, si Noli na? am i reading this right?
