I really wonder why Mike Defensor raised this issue close to election season.
same curiosity here, which is pretty obvious, it’s all political besides, Mike Defensor’s name was pretty much inside the NBN ZTE scandal and other Gloria’s alleged anomalies.
granted he knows about this corruption, granted he saw it, why didn’t he made any effort to stop it? why bring it late in the game? that’s where my curiosity lies.

I’m with you on this. I have known Bistek from college days when I was still active sa rampa rampa sarante sa kalsada. During our college days, he was already getting recognized sa grupo ng mga student government – he then represented San Beda’s student council. I also had a chance to see him work up close in 1989 sa NMYL convention with then board member Josie dela Cruz. I was impressed. I somewhat followed his political career and I think he will make a fine Mayor of QC.
He could have run for national elections kung posisyon lang ang gusto nya – sikat syang artista, pwedeng pwede na manalo sa national elections bilang kongresista o senador. But maybe he just has a heart for the people of QC and he loves QC that’s why he stayed. He has experience both in legislative and executive department. I hope he wins.
But more importantly, I hope Ara Mina loses the election, hehehehe.

Kami din nagwa-wonder kung paano nakalusot ang kidnapping ng witnesses na isiinagawa ni Defensor para kay FG. Kami din nagtataka kung bakit yung mining concessions (plural, dahil NAPAKARAMI!) na natanggap ni Mike WHILE DENR Sec. ay nakalusot. At nagtataka din kami kung paano nakalusot ang Mike Defensor sa kanyang role bilang hit man ni Gloria Arroyo.

FYI hindi mananalo si Defensor sa other districts and malamang matalo din yan sa sariling district nya… with Mayor Sonny Belmonte backing Bistek, Mike Defensor is just going to lose…. mahilig lang yan si Defensor sa salita, bat hindi sya mag showbiz LOL
