Random political blabbing

Aquino-Villar tied? That’s not my issue.

They’re back! Senators Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III and Manuel Villar Jr. now engaged in a neck and neck race, and were statistically tied two months before the May 10 elections. Check this one out.

Perlas 0.2? De los reyes 0.1? Madrigal 0.1? Gordon 2? Villanueva 3? Teodoro 6? When are they quitting the race and campaign for Noynoy Aquino instead? After all, De los reyes has already conceded to Noynoy, di ba?

Oh?! And who da hell is ACOSTA?!

No complicated analysis for Lisa Cojuangco-Cruz

Lisa Cojuangco-Cruz, the daughter of Danding Cojuangco, she’s Filipino too and of course has all the rights in the world to choose who she likes. So, to all those making some serious political analysis on why one candidate is best, bester, besterer, she offers one pretty easy decision making formula. Ganito lang sya:

“I am not one to give you a complicated analysis of things. All we need is an honest, decent government and our hope for that rests on Noynoy and Mar,” Cruz said.

Brilliant strategy to control population!

I’m just tired of this debate. “Condom encourages promiscuity! It weakens the moral fiber of the youth!” La-la-la! The last time I checked the abacus hanging at the Census Bureau, the libido stricken Filipinos are now nearing 100 million in population, with a per capita of only $3,300. But wait! Maybe this is CBCP’s strategy to spread AIDS and other vicious diseases to control the population! Aha! Brilliant!

Oh! and I’m beginning to really like Esperanza Cabral!

DOH is planning to get a show biz personality to endorse the use of condom.

If someone from DOH is reading this, please, huwag niyo akong kulitin. You can’t afford me.

    Bwahahaha!

    Akoh, it depends…

or should I say, it deepens, hehehehe.

  • Jet says:

    My 10 centavos worth here…

Both the Aquino and Villar camps wants to show a tightening between the 2 because both feed on each other’s weaknesses….Aquino camps wants to portray that the issue is Integrity given the lackluster performance of Noynoy in the legislature, while the Villar camp want to show that competency is key, given the way he is buying the presidency….

But do we really need to buy all this crap?

Eight (8) months ago, if Tita Cory didn’t die, do you think we will ever think of Noynoy as someone who we will entrust our future (atleast a good 6 years of our future?)…

Given Manny Villar’s training and experience as a businessman, do you sincerely believe he won’t recoup his election expenses…

WE HAVE A GOOD 2 MONTHS TO THINK HARD AND WELL ABOUT THIS ELECTIONS AND WE THE EDUCATED, INTERNATIONALLY EXPOSED, THE SUPPOSED CHANGE CATALYSTS only know fully well that neither are right to be our President…

CREDIBILITY is key, those whose rhetoric is validated by actual performance. Not just performance but past achievements we all were proud of….and we remember Subic Free Port Zone (where APEC Leaders stood proud), WOW Philippines…(plastered on London cabs, in buses and billboards in Shanghai and Seoul) which created a multiplier effect of jobs and businesses (and continuous to do so to this very day)….

SO THE CHOICE IS OURS, while our Asian neighbors have all grown prosperous through years of focus and vision, ours is still tied up with polarizing legacy conflicts of CORY vs MARCOS, now GMA vs Noynoy, even Noynoy campaign vs Villar campaign….

    GO GORDON !!!

    • reynz says:

The 1st few lines were pretty interesting Jet.

      I’d go with Danding’s daughter’s explanation. It’s simple. It’s easy.

“I am not one to give you a complicated analysis of things. All we need is an honest, decent government and our hope for that rests on Noynoy and Mar,”

No complicated analysis. I’m sure Gordon is good and he has shown it with his bases conversion performance.

But there are the stories (Buraot’s) that some people wants to hear to understand to gain full understanding on who is this man such that they are able to make a reasonable if not informed decision. For example, I have no clue who Gordon is – other than the bases and the least that I know from his was mainitin ang ulo which was already confirmed by a lot of readers here and some of my friends who seem to know Gordon.

But 2 months into the election, given that Gordon is not going to win, the choice is now simply between Villar and Noynoy – and a vote for Gordon is a vote for Villar. That’s how i see it.

      • Jet says:

        Hi Reynz,

You have probably seen this movie before … one administration (also in yellow) promising to be the honest and decent alternative to a dictator that has abused its power by declaring martial law…. and you know how it ended. It ended with a new set or return of oligarchs to rule over national treasures to the detriment of our poor countrymen, who either remained poor or emigrated to other countries…

Same storyline here with Noynoy if its all just honesty that he is putting on the table, plus the fact that the same old Manila oligarchs are once again supporting him… We seriously need a President with the ability and competence to turn around a sick country, and another 6 years reset (with Noynoy) will set us back another 15 years and by that time Cambodia, Laos and even Timor Leste will have probably leap frogged us…

Who say’s elections is over…that is precisely what the mutually feeding parasite called “Villanoy” wants us to believe…..

        Jet P.

PS. I am also an Accountant…currently the Asia Pacific Regional Audit Head of a US MNC here in Manila.. :) Peace !!

        • reynz says:

good to know you’re an accountant with a multi-national background. :0) i know the “movie” that you’re talking about and all these talk about ahh… “oligarch” politics u know, issues.

but out in the airwaves, no oligarch issues. villar’s issue? poverty. see it on the ads. noynoy’s issue? corruption. to which i agree.

sorry Jet, even if Madam Auring tells me that a vote for Noynoy will spiral the country to Jurassic days, it’s just not believable and i rarely respond to unfounded hypothesis.

did i read one of your comment where you said you were realistic? (i hope i was right) because if you were: then, the choice is between Noynoy and Villar. nothing against your candidate but i truly don’t see Gordon on the horizon.

          • Jet says:

Reynz, try to get the book “An Anarchy of Families: State and Family in the Philippines” (I believe available in Amazon with some snippets available at google.books) and you’ll understand where I am coming from… :)

Btw, there’s nothing unfounded about the poor getting poorer and the rich (500 families controlling the PH economy) getting richer in the PH ….read PDI’s Headline last Monday. And the dwindling middle class (from 30+% some decades ago to now about 18%)….the supposed thinking class.

That my friend is realistic :)

  • Leo says:

@Jet, dito ka na naman pala lumipat campaigning for dick a! nagsawa ka na ba sa noypi-ako site? :)

    • Jet says:

      @Leo,

Engr. Jojo banned me na when I started asking about Noynoy’s accomplishments that he is proud of…. I like it here, Reynz is a “fairer” lady :)

Just like in the Dick Gordon FB page…we dont ban those who disagree, we continuously debate with them and eventually convince them. I believe that should be the tact…given that we are in a democracy and sometimes its true that you learn more from people who disagree with you…

      Regards,
      Jet

      • BURAOT says:

wahahah! Engr.

IF manalo sya, safe ka.

      • Kutz says:

Ay maka Gordon ka ba Jet? Hehehehe, ako rinnnn. Kaya lang wiz ako active sa political campaign at wa ako time maga blog or blog hopping. Dito lang ako mainstay sa barrio ni Ateng Reynz and I defend my choice given the proper forum, o davah vonggacious?

  • Kutz says:

Plannggg!!! Ang sisterette kong naga specialize sa OB-GYN eh lumipat after a year. Ang masama pa, by the time na she is able to sneak out to eat her meal, pati raw itsura ng pagkain sa pinggan naa associate niya na sa p*ki!

  • Kutz says:

It’s otherwise known as the PNB Hospital as in Paanakan Ng Bayan.

  • ajay says:

Bwahaha

    • Kutz says:

If you think na okay lang yung double bubble (dalwang kapapanganak sa iisang kama)or yung i recycle ang gloves, syringe, at karayom, eh di okay.

  • promking says:

I think, the reason why statistically tied na sila dahil

  • [...] sya. I would find out from Kutz, one B7 regular, the what’s of Fabella. You’d have to read the entry here to find out how it all started. But let me pick up the hilarious conversation: Plannggg!!! Ang [...]
