Aside from Metro Manila, the provinces of Aurora, Quirino, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Tarlac, Zambales, Pampanga, Bataan, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Lubang Island, Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur and Catanduanes were placed under Signal No. 2 and these areas will experience winds of 60-100 kph, PAGASA said.
Storm Signal No. 3 was hoisted over Polillo Islands in Quezon province while Signal No. was raised over Isabela, Ifugao, Benguet, Nueva Vizcaya, La Union, Pangasinan, Albay, Burias Island, Sorsogon, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro and the Calamian group of islands, the weather bureau added.
