That’s right! Just how do you manage to fit these numbers of people at the Rizal Memorial Track and Football Stadium?
I was reading this news on the Inquirer: Thousands attend Teodoro’s ‘victory rally’ , and Teodoro’s spokesperson Mike Toledo claimed 135,000 attended the miting de avance at the Rizal Memorial Track and Football Stadium.
Huh!
So, I called the survey companies, the ones managed by ABS-CBN hahaha! (Biro lang! Kayo naman.) Anyway, according to the survey, the capacity of the Jose Rizal Memorial Stadium is only 30,000.
Repeat. 30,000

Exhibit B …

I remember the 2008 Primary and the United States Presidential Elections. That election coverage was pretty exciting. I remember John King, CNN’s Chief National Correspondent. He stood before the now-familiar electronic wall map. He would zoom in and zoom out on the battleground states with a few pokes of his fingers. I thought it was a sight to behold. And then, they even have this 3D multi-dimensional sum’tin sum’tin where another newsman appears on the CNN studio while he/she was actually reporting several states away. It was something more like …

11 days before election day, Manny Villar has been losing ground if not have totally lost it! The consecutive and blow by blow controversies hounding the very very very eager Presidentiable has not been met with either truth or satisfactory answer from the orange camp. It is very obvious that Villar and family are doing the dirtiest tricks not found in books known to the vilest humans, and putting them on the final act as election day comes near. Understandably, with 5 Billion pesos at stake which Villar spent for …

You know what they say, that some form of calculated display of temper is a form of political instrument. So, when I read the news that Richard Gordon went ballistic during an interview with Karen Davila, I figured, Gordon must simply be just demonstrating his brand of leadership here, or maybe he is badly needing a Dale Carnegie book.
In my mind, when you enter politics, especially running for office, you and your message is your product. That product goes to the market and hope for the sky that customers buy …

Litraks harbat here.
Okay fine! Hindi nga ako kapamilya, pero in fairness, ayos itong christmas song nila. I must admit, this song plays the whole day sa aking kelvinator laptop. Hahahha.
Hahahha.

Merry Christmas peeps!

I was watching the news on ABS-CBN last night when Ted Failon suggested to Sagip Kapamilya’s Chair Tina Monson Palma about a proper protocol when it comes to avoiding double or triple acquisition of relief goods. It was said that most of the families are trying to photo copy the tickets they distribute which results to excess acquisition of the goods. Ted Failon suggested that they could rather have a wrist tag likened to hospital …

Nearing our 10-day mourning period in honor of Tita Cory, Barrio Siete Dot Com is very happy to have given full blog coverage to one historic event that just recently transpired, the passing of our one and only Tita Cory. It’s our small contribution in honor of President Cory Aquino and Senator Benigno Aquino. But that very small contribution, surprisingly, has given us, Barrio Siete Dot Com, an unexpectedly back-to-back media coverage beyond our expectations. Trulalang ningning ever and if you think about it, wala pa tayong 3 months …

Ganito kasi yung nangyari.

On Saturday (August 1, 2009)…it was almost time for wowowee when i saw commercials saying ‘Thank You President Cory”. That’s only when I found out that Cory was dead. I thought, wow! Willie was truly sensitive to have a 2-minute-silence for Cory. He was even wearing yellow polo shirt.
Well I’m not really a fan of Willie and of his show Wowowee. For one, he plays on people’s emotions and poor-ness. The more you are shameless enough to tell on national TV, the sorry and painful story your life is… the …

Eyeswear to OMFG! This is La Kapitana speaking sonata! I was very happy with GMA7 Live Streaming but they were out when Tita Cory was being transferred to Manila Cathedral. So, I swicthed to ANC na nakuha ko ang link dun sa website ni Tita Cory. I was even very happy because I saw this newscaster mentioning Barrio Siete in his news, I captured that moment and sent the pics to everyone in the Barrio. So, I was hooked right? And I was very happy with ANC’s service to Cory …

Daz right mga kabarrio! Now na! Hahaha! At maraming thank you to ABS-CBN who got it right at truly naman na nag-effort si Leilani Chavez to write the correct report at eto sya:
“As a gesture of support for the ailing president, supporters from the …

TV probably is the most effective of all media in the Philippines. A significant number of Filipinos get their daily dose of information at any given time or circumstances as long as it is on air. Only TV has the power of immediate reach to geographically scattered country like ours.
From outside the country, I …
