(Second of two parts)
The first part of this article is here: Big-time gambling patriarch plays high-stakes politics
(The writer is a former journalist, a three-term governor of North Cotabato, and incumbent vice governor of the province)
THE POLITICAL POWER AND influence of Datu Andal Ampatuan Sr. reached great heights in the 2004 presidential election when he engineered a lopsided victory in Maguindanao for President Macapagal-Arroyo against popular actor Fernando Poe Jr.
It was undoubtedly a feat that won for Ms Arroyo the presidency, never mind the charges of massive cheating. The fact …

I cannot believe what I was reading. Grisly might not be the right word. This is like Godfather VIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII to the 10th power. Here’s the excerpts:
Despite being present at the scene of the crime, the witness vehemently denied firing his gun. He said he hid in one of the vehicles so that Ampatuan Jr. could not see him, but said he witnessed what actually transpired because he took a peek once in a while.
To further bolster his claim that Ampatuan Sr. was the real brains behind the massacre, the witness …

VIEWER DISCRETION: Not for the faint-hearted or for those who have weak stomachs.
I know I should have posted this a long time ago (well, thanks to some busyness there…argh >.<) But with the turn of events in Maguindanao: the lifting of the martial law, the rebellion charges while in fact it should be mass murder (genocide perhaps) to those bastards who ruled that place like facking Sith Lords (they made Darth Vader, Darth Maul and Emperor Palpatine looked tame and lame) and all the non-sense, unfruitful investigation pep talk …

Ang mga warlords and murderers, rebels daw yun. Nung chinugi ang mga Mangundatu together with mediamen, invasion daw sya. Result? Rebellion. Kaya martial law. Yan ang verdict ni Gloria about the massacre in Maguindanao to warrant martial law. Ulitin naten mga kabarrio: say it with pissed and puking attitude: Rebellion. Im fak, belib sina Santiago and Zubiri na favor sa Kongreso ang martial law. Tsk! Tsk!
Reaction nang ibang tiga-Barrio Siete? Pag bading lumipad at me lapad, hindi kagat. Why? Asan nga ang mga rebelde eh mga warlords kamong …

Even my FB friend Anne de Brux napamura when she found out! Hahaha! She said… “So, it’s not for justice to be served? But to silence the Ampatuans? Naknampucha talaga itong pandak na ito!”
You see mga kabarrio, even when I wrote my Martial Law in Maguindanao entry, I thought there was something in there that’s related to the 2004 and 2007 elections. I mean, com’on! Even a non-lawyer like me could honestly say that Gloria has all what it takes na ikulong lahat nung me kasalanan without declaring …

A military’s job is to remain quiet?
I’ve been glued on TV 24 horas, listening and watching the latest on the Maguindanao massacre. It’s unbelievable how they planned this bloody carnage. It is also puke-wrenching listening to those two military personnel who were at the checkpoint who claimed that they have no clue and/or is not a part and/or they were a victim too and that given that they were afraid of their life, they chose to be quiet. Yong dalwa have not made their statements daw. Pero, un momento senor! …

Maybe there’s really such a thing as ‘paranoia in travel.’ Higit na umigting ito noong 9/11. Masasabing one in a million nga naman kasi ang tsansa na bumulusok sa apoy ang eroplanong sinasakyan mo – mapa A380 pa yan. But the possibility is always there, with the threat of terrorism hovering above us, all the time.
Bukod sa akin, paranoid din ang mister kong Amerikano. Nasa Singapore na kami nun at inaya ko syang dumaam man lang kami sa Cambodia  pero delikado raw sa mga …

Marka demonyo. Yan talaga pag tinamaan ka, sigurado ako, susuka ka. An sama kamo nyan.

“They belonged to the rival Mangudadatu clan, but since they were women accompanied by a media delegation, they believed they were safe, protected by the Koranic prescription to spare women. No one could have predicted the ruthlessness that met them. At least 36 people, mostly identified with Buluan, Maguindanao vice mayor Datu Ismail “Toto” Mangudadatu and including a dozen media people, were abducted and later killed on Monday by gunmen allegedly led by members of the Ampatuan political clan. Toto’s wife, Genalyn Tiamzon-Mangudadatu, was among those killed, according to Toto …
