FERNANDO Poe Jr. won the 2004 presidential elections, said Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Sixto Brillantes, who was the former legal counsel of the late action king.
“Alam ko kung sino talaga ang nanalo, si FPJ. Ako ang abogado ni FPJ. Ipinaglaban ko ng husto yan. Kaya lang ang alam ko (I know who really won – it’s FPJ. I am the lawyer of FPJ. I fought hard for it. What I know) is personal and in my heart. I don’t have the evidence to show it,” said Brillantes, who used …

At this point, I am not convinced that there were any dayaan na nangyari.
In Flippine politics kasi, everybody is a winner. The rest? Nadaya lang.
In this cheating game, nobody wants to name names. Nobody wants to show how it was cheated. Nobody wants to show proof. Basta it was cheated. At kung meron mang proof, it appeared from heaven.
Para bang mga trolls. Puro fake identity. Palipat lipat lang nang internet café. Para magbago ang IP.

Matatandaan na nagkaron nang pa-binggo sa PICC in Pasay City noong election day. Me tambiolo, me bolang puti at me numero.

LAGUNA, PHILIPPINES – In Calamba Laguna, PCOS Machines are A-okay but like what happened in some areas, voting was very slow because most of the precincts allowed the senior citizens to cast their votes first. Lines were disorganized everywhere. Complaints are mounting since the clustered precincts are only using 1 PCOS machine in Calamba Central School. Many voters were on queue for hours and most of them already went home due to utter frustration and boredom. Verified reports reveal that the BEIs themselves attempted to devise ways to ease the …

“I found this as good news for the Liberal Party. I had no idea what the declaration meant, until I started reading it. Heto ang magandang balita:”
From: abs-cbnNEWS.com
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) en banc on Friday declared the Liberal Party (LP) as the dominant minority party.
This means the LP will have access to the sixth copy of the election returns, which reflect the results of the automated polls. It also gives the party access to the Comelec central server for the transmitted results of the elections.
The Comelec, Parish Pastoral Council …

ABS-CBN says that these candidates only need 1 vote to win. That’s all. See how peaceful it is in Philippine politics? Saves the country some money. No smart counting needed. Not even 1 plus 1 because you only need 1.
Some people are just lucky. It’s like winning the lottery. How in the world that they are running unopposed? No clue. But here are the lucky candidates – the list of unopposed candidates.
Drool people!!! Tse!

I attended my barangay’s seminar on the 2010 elections, arranged by the Captain Ralph Diaz. I learned a few things from Mr. Diaz about the election ballot that could be informative for all of us:
1. The ballot is very, very sensitive to marks, ink, water, stains, scratches, folds, sweat, etc. If, say, you have grime on your hands, or your hands are wet, or your sweat drips onto the ballot, the PCOS (Precinct Count Optical Scan) Unit will not read it. So, keep your hands very clean before …

~Nga pala, how’s your automated election IQ people?!
According to what I just read: “he who controls the technology, controls our vote”. Grrr! ~ngitngit~ Agree? You see, machines are machines they don’t think. They are instructed thus, the likelihood of being manipulated.
Understanding the Philippines automated election system entails learning some new abbrevs. So get ready to be bombarded with these – PCOS, OMR, BEI, AES, RA9369, DRE, CAC, COC, ER, MBOC, NBOC and NPO.
Huh?!
Relax.
They won’t quiz you on this when you vote. But its good to know. Mga bala during …

I’m no stranger to auditing federal contracts. One of the best jobs I’ve ever had. Why? The things that you discover would amaze you. I get a kick discovering what people do just to beat the system. One time, a consultant has been submitting his invoice for payment. The company has been paying him for years! Hahaha! He included another consultant on the list – who was not doing any work for the company. I would discover that she was the wife. He changed her name. How …

Careful. Comelec is getting onion-skinned. Naiirita na talaga sila. In fact, you might be imprisoned for saying negative things about automated elections. What they want is world peace. Wag pansinin ang indelible ink that’s not indelible. Hahaha! Baka isalpak ako sa bartolina! Anyway, at least that’s how I’m reading Comelec. Applied to blogs – will there be a law to prohibit negative comments on blog entries?!
I thought I find it funny that Comelec would threaten any automation critics that …

FEARS ARMM WILL AGAIN BE USED FOR POLL FRAUD TO FAVOR VILLAROYO
Liberal Party Director General Chito Gascon today called on Nacionalista bet Manuel B. Villar and former Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita to reveal to the public what they talked about in a supposed meeting last month.
Gascon said the Liberal Party is alarmed by SMS messages being disseminated to the public in relation to the supposed plan to forge ballots in the Autonomous Region for Muslim Mindanao, where the administration has dominated—albeit questionably—in the 2004 and 2007 national elections.
“Laging sinasabi …

“Posibleng tatlong kandidato na lang sa panguluhan ang pagpilian ng mga botante pagsapit ng halalan sa Mayo 10 kapag natuloy ang babala ng Commission ng Elections laban sa anim na iba pang kandidato dahil sa paglabag umano sa patakaran sa campaign material.“
Consider that scenario. Who will you vote?!

COMELEC failed to learn the lessons from the Ampatuan massacre and the country must now brace for what could be the one of its bloodiest elections.
This was the assertion of Akbayan party-list representative Walden Bello regarding the decision of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to exempt the Civilian Active Auxiliaries (CAA) from the total gun ban.
The Ampatuan massacre is the biggest case against this decision. Now the whole country must brace for what could be the bloodiest elections in Philippine history,” …

‘Nuisance’ rule is stupid!
SHOCKINGLY, the Comelec promulgated last December 15 its ruling disqualifying several presidential candidates, vice presidential candidates and senatorial candidates on the ground of being “nuisance.” It is in itself a nuisance.
It is stupid, to say aptly. It is pro-rich, anti-poor. Among those candidates disqualified by reason of the “nuisance” justification is Atty. Vicente Velasquez, the candidate of the advocates of jury systems in the Philippines. The Jury System is a system of justice where it is the people themselves who shall say who …

THERE are some things i don’t understand in the recent Comelec resolution approving the candidacy of some aspirants to public positions and disqualifying others similarly placed. If J.C. de los Reyes qualified as a presidential candidate, why not Nick Perlas? If Lt. (s.g.) Antonio Trillanes won as senator while confined in jail why disqualify Brig. Gen. Danilo Lim? If Col. Ariel Querubin qualified why not Lim when both are in jail?
Judges and justices who inhibit themselves from cases because of fear for their lives should be removed from the bench. …

Danton Remoto was disqualified. His Ladlad Party was earlier disqualified.
