As if isang runner na di napapagod sa marathon ang balitang ito na aking nasagap via GMAnews.tv:
Ending months of speculation, President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo formally announced on Monday that she will be running for congresswoman of Pampanga’s second district.
In a recorded interview aired over the government-run dzRB radio station, Arroyo said: “Gaya ng alam ninyo, hiniling rin ako ng mga mamayan ng aking tahanang distrito sa Pampanga na manatili sa buhay publiko (As you all know, the residents of Pampanga’s second district have urged me to remain in public service).”
“After much soul-searching, I have decided to respond affirmatively to their call. To that end, I will file my (certificate of) candidacy for Congress in order to serve the hardworking people of my home province,” she said.
Mrs. Arroyo added: “I am not ready to step down completely from public service.”
Question ng isang bubwit sa mga Constitutional experts out there: Legal pa po bang tumakbo ang isang dating pangulo to another government position? Perst taym ko lang kasi makarinig ng ganitong scenario. I mean, yung ibang presidente e hindi naman tumakbo for another position.
O isa pang humahabol, si Bolante e tatakbo daw bilang governor?!
Ay CARAMBA!! Ano ito?!?! Jeez. WTF!

2) Once he/she got it, he/she will do everything to stay in power ( i.e. just kill them )
As for hororable glorey she need it. Position in the government is a shield, para maiwasan niya pansamantala ang mga kaso na ihahain sa kanya… ( read: INSANITY is the number one defense in a court of law )
According to some solons daw, parliamentary immunity ang habol ng tita…sus ginuu. Ngayon lang ako nakarinig ng naging presidente na nga for 9 years, then tatakbo pa as congresswoman ulet.
