The plot thickens: Martial law in Maguindanao to silence Ampatuans?!

Even my FB friend Anne de Brux napamura when she found out! Hahaha! She said… “So, it’s not for justice to be served? But to silence the Ampatuans? Naknampucha talaga itong pandak na ito!”
You see mga kabarrio, even when I wrote my Martial Law in Maguindanao entry, I thought there was something in there that’s related to the 2004 and 2007 elections. I mean, com’on! Even a non-lawyer like me could honestly say that Gloria has all what it takes na ikulong lahat nung me kasalanan without declaring martial law! But you’d think that at the start of all this drama, noticeable masyado ang kid glove treatment kina Ampatuan. What gives?! I mean, the world is condemning what happened there, yet over in Pasig, busy sila with smiley registration for Congresswoman! Ano baaa!!!
I feel like the martial law was used as a tool. Not only to silence the media but also to silence the Ampatuans. Eh baka kung ano ang idakdak nang mga ‘to about the 2004 and 2007 elections eh! Which explains the breaking news today! Sa totoo lang! Several concerns have been raised over the declaration of Martial Law! I’m telling you, personalan na to! This is already Gloria Arroyo versus the Amputa Clan, kaso pati bansa – tayong lahat – dawit sa mala-demonyong dramang to and it all started way before that culminated in 2004 and 2007!
According to former GMA ally North Cotabato Vice-Governor Manny Piñol, he had received word that the Ampatuans had threatened to “tell all they knew about electoral cheating” if President Arroyo “stops supporting them.” (Source: Inquirer)

Bwahahaha! That alone is enough. Kahit wala nang sabihin ang mga Amputa, we already know what they know that they won’t tell.

So, people, sit back – relax, listen to the radio, watch the news, the plot thickens! Dahil the truth and nothing but the truth will soon come out! Actually – it has already come out! You think?! Hahaha!

but i believe ginagamet nya ang martial law just in case na mag-iba ang klima sa Pampanga if she loses, dahil this is the only tool for her to remain in power.
basta, kahit na nung nag-start pa tong massacre na to, something weird is going on…
the rebellion is just about to come…i can feel.. at sya din ang may pakana nun.. para magkaron sya ng enough reason to declare martial law..parang sa time lang ni marcos. later on naconclude ng mga analyst na sya din ang may pakana ng lahat ng pasabog at patayan at kidnapan para lumabas na magulo ang bansa.. so this could also mean na may kinalaman din si gloria sa massacre.. at iiwan nalang nya ang ampatuans pagkatapos ng massacre na gumawa ng ingay para maisip na magulo sa maguindanao.. then what? idadaan nya sa martial law to silenced ampatuans from voicing out and ofcourse.. para hindi sya mawalan ng kapangyarihan..

I’m sure this is another step to Gloria’s grand plan. Konek ito dun sa plano niyang pagtakbo bilang congress rep. Juice ko nakakatakot na ito!

kawawa naman ang mga taga-maguindanao…una sa kamay ng mga ampatuan tapos ngayon naman under sila ng martial law…hayz ang buhay nga naman.
May nakakaligtaan…I hope somebody can post the role of the ex National Security Adviser now Defense Chief? Norberto Gonzales, a funeraria owner from Bataan and a Congressman wanna be who never won an election…and probably the pea brain behind most of the events.

Unless Limahong and his pirate cohorts are actually charging into Maguindanao, then we can say that Martial Law is appropriate. However, I dont understand the government’s reason: stating that Maguindanao is on the verge of rebellion and pointing at the Ampatuans as rebels.

Gloria should know when to quit if she has any little regard left for her countrymen. The Filipino masses will surely surge the gates if this martial law will extend to the whole archipelago. Filipinos patient but they are not stupid. Memories of being under a martial law regime are still fresh in our minds and any indication of a repeat will surely catalyze and galvanize everyone to act against GMA and cronies. In just six months, our hope of a new crop leaders who will bring us out of this malaise will be realized. Contrast that to a looming specter of a dictatorship. We should all be vigilant.
