Do you know where this island is located?!

Medyo nasita ako ni Anthony Bayarong of Subic Times on those Gordon pictures na nadekwat ko sa Facebook , which I forgot to put some proper credits (sorry po talaga Anthony!), and so, I went back to facebook hoping na makita ko ang link. Instead, here’s what happened…
I was looking for Ondoy pictures this morning when I ran across this entry: Island No. 132 of 7,200 Philippine Islands. According to the entry, this particular island in the Philippines was featured on the National Geographic and Purplyana.
Ansabi:
“Now that I’m convinced that the photograph is real and authentic, next comes the question – where the hell do they get their food or their fresh water from? What about sewage? And who the hell was in charge of the zoning? And what kind of idiot would still want to add yet shanty No. 66 after discovering that 65 already packed the island? What can i say? Life’s a beach.”
Bwahahaha!!!
Well, if this island is truly genuine, are we trying to copy Male? The capital of Maldives?

Well… ok, not quite. Where in the world are those people getting wootah at pano ang drainage dun? Pano ang zoning dito Kapitan? Each one of these house ba are properly equipped with salbabida???

i have no clue either. hahaha! i don’t think it’s real!
Kung existing man ang island na yan, I don’t think nasa Pilipinas to…
That is in the Philippines. I think I have been there…located somewhere between Olango Island and Bohol, I think. Probably belongs to Lapulapu City?
Water sold per container (15 pesos) and food comes from the mainland. Wastes are recycled naturally by the fishes and other marine organisms lolz. Show this photo among small boats docked at Cebu Pier – and they can tell you the name of the island.
Of course, if this is bad as it looks, there are worse! Pramis..just go island hopping in North East Bohol, and you’ll find more of these gems. Hehehe.
magandang tourist destination yan mocs! hahaha i hope makarating ako sa islang yan the next time mapunta nang bohol or cebu
Oh…from the photo, there are still some spaces left…try going to Nasingin Island in Getafe Bohol…and be amazed hehehe.
hirap i search sa wikimapia where that island is. i found an island na meron daw ritual na pina-parade pa ang male phallus sa isang isla. eto sabi:
NALUSU-AN ISLAND RESORT
This is Nalusu-an Island. It is an island resort that bears the islands name. In the vernacular it means having been pricked -refering to the male phallus. Story goes that the locals have a fertility ritual involving parading the effigy of the male phallus.Unfortunately the Local Government never tapped its tourism and cultural significance.

Dapat mag-family planning ang pinoy,o kaya yung gaya ng China 1 child policy and the catholic church should mind their owm business. Next thing you know they’ll be living in boats all over the place. Another accident waiting to happen. Daming anak at daming alak, eh di gutom. It’s like the favorite sport of pinoys eh gumawa ng bata. I hope this is not off topic;-).
saten kasi Art, any word before or after “planning” wala sa vocabulary nang gobyerness at wag mong sabihin sa church dahil excominkado ka hehehe
I wonder why kung bakit dun nila naisip tumira o bakit nagttyaga silang tumira dun… life seems to be so simple there… siguro walang kuryente dun so lalong malaki ang posibilidad dumami ang populasyon… lolz
nice! pero na curious talaga ako saan to. and want to go there. hahaha… go there lang but i can’t imagine myself living there.
That is called Pandanon Island. Part na ng Bohol. Somewhere here http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=10.24305,124.299059&spn=0.060475,0.10849&t=h&z=14. Pumunta kami dyan July 2 2009. Actually maraming ganyan Pilipinas. They get water from the mainland. May bangka naman sila.
