Who should be thrown the biggest stone on the Kho-Halili sex video scandal?
Given that Hayden Kho is a perverted masochist for taking the videos secretly, given that Senator Bong Revilla and company watched the video purely for the sake of criminal investigation, and given that I (and mostly everyone of us) am a bigger pervert for having spent long hours searching for the “real deal” video after having known that there is a more sensual version than the one with erotic dancing, who should be held most liable for having caused the biggest damage on Katrina Halili’s part after what could have been dismissed off as plain rumor but was confirmed after the “real deal” was uploaded publicly.
When I first heard about the Vicky Belo-Hayden Kho breakup, I couldn’t care less about their issue and in fact, I didn’t even care whether they had a real relationship or what. They could kill each other on live television and it won’t affect my personal life. When I first heard about Senator Bong Revilla’s appeal for the revocation of Kho’s license and perpetual banning from practicing medicine, I thought he’s just riding on this publicity for his own political agendas. But after having seen all of the sensual (read: erotic) videos involving Katrina Halili and two other ladies, that was when I started to realize that this isn’t just a private issue concerning the involved parties but rather a serious crime that should not be taken lightly because Kho’s behavior poses a great deal of threat to any other ladies that he could be in contact with whether as a patient or as a partner and regardless of their social status.
But who could have caused the greatest damage to Katrina Halili and the other ladies on the videos involved?
Dra. Vicky Belo, as her way of retaliation towards Kho and the other ladies involved. Anyone who knows about the videos is also aware that this has been the cause of break-up between Belo and Kho and the rumour about these sex videos began circulating when their break-up was picked up by media. Who knows if it was Belo, herself, who passed these videos among her relatives, friends and acquaintances to get their sympathy or simply to get back to his guy by ruining his reputation. Who knows if it was Belo herself, who uploaded these videos on the internet so curious internet surfers could find them after revealing her failed relationship with Kho, to the media people. Should that be the case, he should be held most liable for ruining Halili’s reputation, regardless is she had committed adultery or fornication.
Who knows whether her psychiatrist(s) suggested her to do so as part of her therapy. If that was the case, her psychiatrist(s) should held most liable and had to undergo their own therapy sessions aside and whom Sen. Bong Revilla should request for license revocation more promptly.
Who knows if she had paid someone from Kho’s peers to upload them in exchange of money or services.
Dr. Hayden Kho, who failed to realize that the person(s) whom he had shared the videos with will also share them to their own set of peers and, possibly, the media people. A pervert and a masochist will not secretly take videos of his sexual acts if only for his private viewing, it would be shared. Anyone who have seen the videos would realize that they were recorded without the knowledge or consent of the females involved. Kho couldn’t have had other reason to record them privately if not to showcase his sexual capabilities to his peers, otherwise, he wouldn’t have recorded them without the other parties’ consents.
Sen. Bong Revilla, for watching the videos and raising the issue to the senate which only caused the issue to be elevated from being a mere gossip that we could have not cared less to a more serious one that even the senate people were shaken. Even despite the presence of solid evidences, there are things that the general people would not believe unless the information came from a certain person with authority.
Katrina Halili, for not confirming her past relationship immediately at the time the issue was just starting. People tend to be more curious if someone is denying there was fire when people started seeing the smoke. Had she just said yes when the media started asking, the issue could have stopped there and the people won’t need to search for more evidences.
The press people. Can’t they just leave people alone?

If I were in Bong Revilla’s shoes, tatahimik muna ako sa issue na. You know, hindi ko ipapaalam sa madla because of the sensitivity of the issue. He could have worked silently to put a cap on it. Kumbaga, with due respect to Katrina, he should not have blasted this issue in a privilege speech in the senate – kasi that will drive more curiosity among the people.
Dapat nagtrabaho siya ng tahimik, created a task force, investigate then file a case. And then, the rest of the senate and congress could work to speed up the necessary laws on this issues.
