Who’s putting butter in your pandesal?

Don’t you just love the political carnival at the moment? This must only be happening in the Philippines. I mean, the entire nation is totally into this election, most banats you read or hear are pretty nasty and ugly personal. They’re not just confined to electoral candidates but bloggers too. Yours truly is one of the favorites.
I had this email conversation with another Overseas Filipino from somewhere down under and this is what she has to say:
“People in the Philippines always know which side of their pandesal is buttered and where butter came from and who paid for it. It’s not surprising to me that everyone is paid somehow to push their masters agenda (often political) so they may be on payroll, paid with coconuts, a sack of rice, or otherwise.“
Of which I agree. Include those people who are seeking jobs and positions too.
That explains the polarization, correct?

80% is masa and only 20% are not so not surprising why everyone is fighting hard for their source of pandesal
well, in my case and most of the people i know with the same belief as i am, we’re buying our own ‘matamis na bao’. these are all pro-bono, boluntaryo, walang bayad. i hope sana lahat ng tumutulong at sumusuporta e kagaya natin.. nothing to expect in return. makita lang natin na magkaroon ng matinong lider ang pinas, ok na yon.
butter or no butter it doesn’t matter. in short, noypi ako.. not for sale!
