Will history repeat itself?!

6 May 2010 4 Comments

It’s interesting to note that 10 years ago, May 4, 2000 to be exact, the “I love you” virus would spread across the world causing billions of US dollars in damages shutting down the network systems of even the Pentagon, CIA and the British Parliament.

Will history repeat itself?!

I’m not reporting any “I love you” virus or am I planting some Halloween conjectures for after all, it’s Comelec, who started blasting us with the specter of No Elections. I just find this loving history interesting given that the notoriety of this love infection originated in the Philippines.

Ten years later we found ourselves with some smart Venezuelan Senores with PCOS and flash cards that has the possibility to shut down our conversion from Jurassic dagdag-bawas software version negative one to one great leap forward to the unknown.

This is now truly sounding like one project management having a step by step conversion process enforcing a failed election scenario.

Yes, these are all haka-haka These are all online cheezmaks. But could there be some traces of truth in the online wave of chitchats?

First, we were inundated by Oplan Full Moon.

Second, there’s Oplan RAFAEL as Retain Arroyo through Failure of Elections.

Third, who would not be scared with the DND secretary declaring that cheating is underway?

Fourth, add Gloria’s lawyer calling for the postponement of election.

Fifth, the flash cards are worrisome. What is with the re-configuration 4 days to the election? Some say that the reconfigured flash card will now allow reading the votes of the local candidates. How many flash cards do they need to configure again? 76 or 80 thousand? And what’s today? Wednesday in the US, Thursday in Manila.

Exactly, what is being done in “flash card configuration”? Who’s gonna get the “I love you?”

Poor Noynoy Aquino, with his insurmountable lead in every opinion polling survey, he went bananas about People Power, calling for a parallel manual count! Can you blame him?

I sense a case of lost love. The flash cards’ worth flushed into compromised configuration. The flash cards that will be filled with voters’ love for Noynoy. The flash cards which will record a historical turning point of this country.

Do COMELEC love compromises? You tell me. With Filipinos known programming talents, exported the world over, I cannot understand why they tapped a young high-tech company from Venezuela to manage our political history. Que barbaridad!

And why is it that COMELEC never beats its heart to those who have historically been successful in automated voting such as US, Australia and Europe? Maybe, COMELEC loves corruption and not real change, right? Besides, the taste of power corrupts and change they resist!

Oh, dear heavens!

It’s a bummer that god is still busy.

I read that El Shaddai is still waiting for the sign.

Fairy godmother, rescue us!

Let history, be history.

This reconfiguration of the flash cards is quite disturbing. What if ito na nga ang sinasabing ‘automated garci’.

    God bless our country.

  • karla says:

this is a referendum of Comelec. unfortunately, the referendum to gain any sense of credibility is off to a really bad start.

your fairy dear motherness, are you listening to what’s chattering on facebook dear? you better open your ears wider… you will hear something.

  • Ka Nelo says:

…the PCOS test malfunction unwittingly revealed the devices were
already configured for branch predication. Further highlighting the
cynicism of many over Comelec’s contradiction to parallel manual count.
Brace up mga kapatid, kapuso at kapamilya; automated hello garci looms
in the corner, apat na tulog na lang
